We do not go often enough to remember the changes and it must have taken us twice as long as previously. We have to keep looking for staff who can tell us where things are and they cannot enjoy this continual distraction. The whole shopping process has been very tiring and we no longer enjoy visiting Waitrose as we used to. Please think twice before doing this to us again.

Waitrose is a bit of a gem in Goldsworth Park. It's not a large store but it's well stocked with…read moregoods appropriate to the size of the store. Flowers, fruit and veg are fresh and keep well. Meat tends to be packaged in portions for 2 or 4 and larger joints are harder to come by. The fresh meat and fish counters vary in terms of stock but all is good. The deli is excellent with a good choice. Waitrose entertains is available in store as is glass hire. Staff are vey friendly and offer good assistance. There is a self-scan facility which speeds up checkout. Waitrose are participating in a community scheme benefitting local charities at the moment which appeals. Battery and plastic bag recycling are available in store. The car park is well maintatined and trolleys and baskets are always available, dry and in good condition. Opening hours vary throughout the week with extended hours towards the weekend.

The rest is on the ground floor. There is also a cafe, you can change currencies and get photos printed. Inside the supermarket, there is a chemist and they are of good advice (i think the chemist was actually very worried for me when i went to see him last. Prices are like in any tesco, so you can do your shopping for pretty cheap! (Or spend loads if you wish so) Generally staff is helpful and warm so it's all good!

This is truly giant size, it has loads more ranges than the ordinary stores. Wear comfy shoes, there's lots to walk around. It has a huge car park with plenty of disabled bays and a separate car park for families.

Sainsbury's Local Kilburn is not a bad place to shop when you need to grab a few basics but the…read morerange of goods is very limited, having said that, I prefer this store to the local Tesco Express but if I'm after a wider range of groceries I go slightly further down Kilburn High Road to the Bestco Kilburn Supermarket (http://www.qype.co.uk/place/2729810-Bestco-International-Supermarket-London) as it's much more like a supermarket than Sainsbury's Local (which is more like a convenience store) and the prices are often cheaper at Bestco too! There is a cash point (ATM) outside Sainsbury's Kilburn Local which is usueful as there aren't many locally.

This one is forever improving, they have…read moreincreased the number of self-service tills in the shop but not decreased the amount of staff on checkouts, alongside the staff stationed near to those self-service check outs. They used to have a independent flower stall inside but decided the space would better serve a trolley park... They have the obligatory coffee stop, which I have never used so can't comment on. They stock all you expect to see in a Sainsburys, they have recently added a petrol station onsite which is useful as no longer will you have to drive to Purley or Bell Green to redeem the vouchers you get which makes petrol slightly more affordable. The thing to be aware of with this Sainsburys is that it is shares a site with Crystal Palace FC (come on you Eagles). So on match days the store closes early as the car park is over run with cars from supporters from both sides, they will generally close an hour or so before kick off and open back a similar time after it. They have also installed a time limit on using the car park, it's an automated system which reads you license plate as you drive in and tells you how long you can stay for free. I have no idea what happens if you stay over this...apart from some kind of fine I guess. Also on a Sunday be aware that whilst they open at 10am you cannot purchase anything before 11am.

My late Mum and I enjoyed shopping here together and it is disabled and elderly friendly. It is also calm, and no tinned music, but they do have festive music at Christmas. The atmosphere makes it easy to focus on what you need. Friendly, and staff seem happy to be there. Not like a frenetic superstore. Hope it stays this way, just the right size.

The shelves were stocked with all the stuff you need and the employees were friendly and helpful. You have options for self checkout or a cashier assisting you. Not much else to say. It's a convenient alternative to the Tesco nearby and I'm a fan of variety.

This Tesco Express has a range of goods but be aware that they're more expensive than at the Tesco supermarkets. I have to confess to buying cheese straws here for staff at work but I shop at the other shops on Craddocks Parade for my other grocery needs - William Dyer butchers for fantastic meat and pies, Card's across the road for my fruit, Allison's bakery for pastries and Stems for flowers. Even in a small parade of shops, you can find local independent businesses selling better quality stuff with more variety. So, please support them! To be fair, Tesco also offer a cashpoint service (provided by Royal Bank of Scotland), which is convenient. I mainly posted this review because of the sign I spotted on the door, which may explain some of the recent riots we've witnessed. Tesco have a big warning sign to any potential robbers on the door, advising them of a smoke system which will deploy if they enter the premises and Tesco have to explicitly say that they won't be liable for any injuries. As far as I'm concerned, if you break in anywhere, you lose all rights. If you break your leg in the smoke, tough. If the big German Shepherd guard dog bites you, tough. If the shopkeeper gives you concussion with a baseball bat, tough. It's time the lawyers, judges and politicians get on the side of the victims.
