Using my sat nav just to try find a grocery shop and I passed budgens and as I was trying to find a safe place to turn around I happen to find Tesco which to my delight had a big car park which was sign posted very well! So I got a great spot next to the entrance and at first grabbed a basket as I knew this was a small store but just going down one aisle I then decided I needed a trolley as there was more items you can get through this store! I ended up doing my whole weekend shopping which was great for me as I didn't have to venture anywhere else and the queues for the till was very short and staff were very friendly!

I find this shop very oddly arranged nothing is where you expect it to be and somethings are really well hidden. Apart from all that you can expect the usual Asda bargains and counters bakery etc. and a pharmacy. There are self scan checkouts so this will speed up the shop but leave extra time for hunting down what you are looking for.

The…read morecarpark seems small and poorly arranged and lots of the older generation shop here so leave a bit of extra time to get round the store. The new clothes department is very large with a good range of ladies, gents and childrens clothes except for socks these are kept in the main aisles and are horrible and over priced (don't go to sainburys for socks) . There is a small electrical department but not a lot of choice it has hoovers, mircowaves, cameras etc. The new bakery is very nicely set out and the doughnuts look lovely. Has all the food and drink you would expect from a supermarket. Expect long queues at the checkout unless you use self scan.

Be prepared for overpriced food, highly-variable (and unpredictable) hours, and the company of people wearing suits. 2. This place. It's not the best Tesco Express I've seen. They have a rather small selection of ready-to-go meals, and I think they only get one delivery of pastries per day. But they're open early, they're open late, and their prices are good, in spite of being the only food option for the numerous hotels and upscale residential developments that have gone up nearby. You need to pay for parking in this store but can get your money back when you pay for your goods. Also, you will need £1 for the trolleys. This is a very busy store so is a bit too busy for me in peake hours. However, they are open 24 hours so I tend to go later in the evening when the children are in bed (Husband is at home of course).

If you are used to shopping in London then you might be a bit freaked out by how friendly they are. The food and deli are all standard. There is a McDonalds restaurant built in to the store and there is a seperate George across the square which is well stocked and worth a visit. I love this supermarket.
