However, it seemed he did not want our business. He answered my call and asked what it was we needed. I told him up front that we are out in McLean but we are happy to pay any travel surcharge or mileage fees. I told him of our situation - that this was our new home and that the previous owners rescued senior dogs who left behind urine stains and odors in our master bedroom, our walk-in closet, and a hallway. He responded that this was going to be very difficult to do, he was going to have to go through a lot, use different chemicals and processes, so on and so forth. He then told me he never should have asked me what it was I needed, and that he actually never should have answered my call. In the service industry I can understand being busy and thinking that, but being told that as a customer put us about 90% in the direction of not using him. However he then told me he was busy now but to text pictures and phone numbers to his cell, the last two digits of which I missed because he was so fast to hang up on me. Initially I thought maybe it was too small a job to come out this far for, but I explained to him that our master closet was the size of a standard bedroom (200 sq ft) and the bedroom itself was about 500 sq ft when including the hallway that led to our bathrooms (the biggest problem area anyway). We didn't give up yet because we didn't know who else to use and decided that maybe he'd be more comfortable talking to my husband, since he arranged the previous service with him. My husband called him and spoke with him again about the service we needed, but Dennis began giving him the run around about being unsure of whether his truck was working well enough. It was then that we decided he did not want our business. However, our story has a happy ending because we found somebody much better and I've already posted my review of his service.
