He does not want to pay the earnings tax or deal with permits. After finding out his attitude towards new business or ethics, he went on to tell me how I won't be able to find anyone to do the work or will be able to find any materials. I'd rather not deal with anyone who has such a negative attitude. Home Depot should not refer people who do not want to work in the City, or abide by the local laws.

Callier Thompson had renovated one of our 2nd floor bathrooms almost a decade earlier. I was more than surprised to hear they would send a foreman out to investigate the source of the leak. Matthew arrived to discover that after years of use a small area in the grout had deteriorated to allow water through. He cane several times to repair the grout, removed and replaced the damaged area of the ceiling re-sanded and repainted.....all done free for us! You don't find that kind of support often these days. I went to 4 different cabinet places on Manchester Road, no one knew where I could find a replacement boot and then I was referred to Lowe's. The guy at Lowe's referred me to Duenke's saying he always told folks to go there. So I went. These folks were hands-down the nicest out of everyone I encountered (I could feel that some were trying to get me to leave the second I got in, maybe they're not used to seeing folks like me) on this "boot replacement" adventure. Duenke's staff treated me with respect and kindness, found 1 replacement, and then went out of they're way to find a 2nd replacement. I was offered a cookie and not charged for either replacement. I took their business card and told my father in law to use them from now on. The guy at Lowe's told me that Duenke's will find/order the parts you need. And though I didn't confirm this, it felt like these folks would go out of their way to help you with any questions you had or parts you needed. First. We were looking for a remodeling of the Kitchen and Master Bathroom. It was planned to do…read moreit in 2020. Then COVID. The time spend as researching, researching, researching. We had several quotes (few in the 6 digits). My husband and I just couldn't agree on which one to choose from. The quotes were either too high or did not on design, and sometimes both. I called STL Design and Build Design, setup an appointment as my last resort. STL Design sent Tom Levinson. Mr. Levinson arrived earlier than time with his assistant. This is definitely a rare. We went through the areas for remodeling. Tom sat me down and listen to all I wanted to do. Then it came down to the details and pricing. The wants an can't live without. We finished with an estimated quote that we were very happy with. Tom was wonderful. He gave me sound advice on my selections for the kitchen remodel. He went through the cost, time-line, and process. Tom went to warehouses with me for selections on the items. Matthew Pevehouse, thank goodness for him. I had a family emergency out-of-state. Matt took care of everything for us. The whole crew were wonderful. Matt took pictures and kept me up to date. If there was an issue it was quickly resolved.
