While making the drive from CA to Phoenix, and Tesla camping along the way, came across Terrible's at about 1am in the morning. Perfect place for a rest stop, with well lit parking areas and clean bathrooms. I decided to park in the dirt lot next to this place and catch a few hours of sleep. Around 6am, went back to Terrible's to freshen up, grab some snacks, and got back on the road to finish the journey. Truly a great place to stop when passing through the area. read more

As we winter in Quartzsite, we often go for coffee. This morning we wet to our first choice, chevron off of I-10, they were out of coffee. Our 2nd choice is you store, at the other end of town. We walked in to see NO ONE in the sore, and out of order signs o the coffee machine that grinds the beans. We dont like the concentrated coffee as it is very bitter and upsets my stomach. So, my husband and i turned around and headed twords the door. As i turned, i saw a woman walking ot of the office to the right of the counter, as i turned my body, she loudly, (and rudely with a bit of attitude), yelled "Have a nice day" to wich i replied with the same sound level of sound, "you too.. were just trying to get a cup of coffee.." We walked through the door, and got in our car. To our surprise, she followed us out and walked up to the passenger side of our car, my husband rolled down the window and she began unloading her frustration about the broken coffee machine, while saliva was flying out of her mouth onto my husband and car window, with every word. I asked her to back up because she was spitting all over. She got really loud and yelled at us to Never come back, as she can refuse service to anyone. I WILL NEVER SPEND A DIME AT ANY OF YOUR STORES AGAIN. We used to Love this store. We will pay gladly pay more for gas, elsewhere. We will also tell everyone we know, about this experience as well. This is by far the nicest and cleanest stop I've been at. If you are traveling with your fur babies, they have a fully fenced in small dog park with grass for them to enjoy. The gas stations are clean with no trash floating around. On the inside, it is large and spacious with every snack you could think of and small meals for kids and adults. The restrooms are clean and private with no stall gaps. The staff is friendly and it was a enjoyable stop while traveling! read more

Great stop from the Phoenix-Los Angeles drive. Large property so you have room to get to a gas pump. Has plenty of parking in case you just need to stop and use the restroom or buy a snack/drink. The best part is the dog park. HOWEVER!!! The artificial turf burns the dogs paws!!! They get an "A" for effort but they should seriously remove the turf and just leave it with dirt or real grass. My poor dogs can't go in the fenced area when we have high temperatures. I'm still giving it 5 stars!! read more

We stopped by Terrible's to pump gas and had to go to the restroom... my daughter loved the extremely clean restrooms and the funny quotes on the walls.. for example "wash your hands, you know where you've been" the staff was very friendly and we felt welcomed here. They look to be building out a ton of electric vehicle charging stations and maybe even a large vehicle/truck stop. Went on a road trip to Arizona to visit a very sick friend. Stopped at Terrible's to charge my car, use the restroom, get some coffee. I met 2 really nice people (Storm & Sarah) who works here. Excellent customer service! Really cool people. I'm glad to stop here in the way to AZ and coming back from AZ. Restrooms are clean, place is well lighted, felt safe while I shopped. They have plenty of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Also got some beef jerkies from the counter. A little expensive but they can just give you some and don't need to buy the whole bag. They have a variety of meat and they give samples. Storm and Sarah were so sweet!!!....especially to my Drake!! read more

The best gas station to stop at along the 10 while traveling to Phoenix! The gas station is large but does not jam in all the customers. Large blocked off pet relief area which has been clean each time I have visited. The bathrooms are also decent although there is usually a little line. Other customers and employees there who have interacted with me have all been very pleasant. read more

I are used to go to loves, but ever since they ran out of diesel number two one day, and I had to find it somewhere else I stopped at terribles and I fell in love. I'm so glad I did. PET RELIEF AREA! New since I came through last year. Visible sign from the freeway. They have a FENCED, astroturf place for my pup to stretch and sniff and ... Hey, when I travel with my sidekick it's not comfortable for either of us for him to be on a leash or in a car for hours. This place has my business now regardless of whether someone else nearby is lower in gas prices. Well stocked convenience store, gas was the same as the two truck stops nearby. DO NOT USE THE DOG RELIEF AREA IN THE HEAT. THE FAKE GRASS IS AS HOT AS THE CONCRETE DRIVEWAY!!!! a very nice worker came out and guided me to a cooler dirt area in the rear of the building. I suggested they put a sign up, but she said corporate (or management) won't let them. it leads me to believe that TH doesn't give a crap about our dogs, only the money dog owners bring in because of their pretty fake ( yet dangerous) grass No, I won't be stopping here again. There are plenty of open gas pumps, good gas prices, and the store and restrooms are always so clean. The staff is very friendly as well.
