I often visit this location when I am leaving Hobby Lobby or the Vegas Beauty Supply store. I love that it is well lighted and that there are usually two employees inside of the store. This store is connected to a McDonald's and it was recently remodeled. I am not a McDonald's fan but the building looks nice and it has a new paint job. This store is similar to every other convent store. This Terrible Herbst does not have a car was, but the Terrible Herbst across the street does. This location is defiantly in a great stop. I wish I could them a less than 1 star. I've been driving for 40 minutes trying to get a car wash. I made the mistake of buying their monthly car wash pass. But there is always something wrong with there car washing service. I went to multiple terrible's car wash's and all of them were down. And this isn't the first time this has happened. They shut public restroom down 10pm. They are located on a major city street near 215 pn and off ramp for directions east or west. Makes no sense to do so when they are near a huge city plex and traffic starts to get very busy at 2:15am everyday. read more

TLDR: no car wash, general service, mostly prepackaged foods, connected to a McDonalds This Terrible's reflects the par-standard experience you will receive at many Chevron locations. While the standard clerk attempts to provide expedient service, the lines for check-out May reflect the need for additional staffing. At this location, you can select your own fountain drink with their updated Coca-Cola Freestyle Drink Machine. But even with 100+ drink combinations to choose from, how can you compete with the $1 drink for any size at the adjoining McDonald's? Is the $0.49 worth your time? Only time will tell. I foresee all Terrible's locations to be updating to this dispenser-type system. Restrooms aren't that bad. For the afternoon, it looked pretty maintained. Needless to say, it's right near the freeway and connected a McDonald's; I wouldn't be dissuaded in stopping by soon. read more

This place is close to my work, so I go here sometimes because I like Chevron. My only complaints are that their gas pumps are SLOW - and about 25% of the time, swiping your card at the pump does not work and it forces you to go in and pay at the counter instead. Having traveled the 215 freeway many times while living on the South West area of Las Vegas, this gas station is very convenient. But that's kinda the idea for these places anyway right? They have a car wash and many lanes of brightly lit pumps, for night visits. The main building is located next to several fast food restaurants. So once you fill up, you can get a quick wash and then a snack, all without leaving the immediate area. read more

Terrible's you are TERRIBLE lol! Don't be fooled by the save .20 cents per gallon bs that they advertise when you buy a car wash because literally the car wash itself is about 30 seconds. It's the most fast inefficient car wash I've ever visited! When it use to be a PIT STOP car wash you could honestly come and pay $5 and get a better wash than what they are offering now. The old wash would have two employee's waiting at the end of the dryer to scrub your tires and also dry it off. Now..They will hand you a blue paper towel and send you on your merry way. This car wash is on the northeast corner of Tropicana and Fort Apache and, is not next to a McDonald's as a previous comment said, that's the one kitty corner from here. This car wash is automatic with those big felt things that drag over your car to wash it. The car is on a track, and a person does a mini scrub with a brush before you go in. The tracks kind of rush you through the drying cycle a little bit too fast so you do have to drive a little bit afterwards to get it dry or pull over and do it by hand but they're friendly they're very nice. The felt things do a better job then the brushless carwashes when there is actual dirt on the car. I have the monthly plan, $19.99 charged to my credit card every month and I can go to any Terribles carwash as often as I want, which allows me to go to the brushless ones that aren't on a track, then I can spend more time under the dryer. I use both kinds depending on how clean my car was to start. Terrible carwashes are all over town: with the monthly plan you can clean up no matter where you are if something accidentally messes up your car (like parking under misters, or a bird or tree). For this I love this plan. I usually cancel the plan in the winter and restart it in the spring. read more

I ran in and the lady cashier politely took my change and I apologized, as I was red in the face. She told me to not ever apologize for that and thanked me for coming in. This is only about the car wash. They apparently 'upgraded' their whole car wash system about a month ago. I thought an upgrade was supposed to be for the better this is actually for the worse. From start to finish it's less than 1 min 30 seconds. I know they are trying to get as many cars as possible through it now. The dryer, you are only under it for 10 seconds the most. There's no doubt that you have to go back towards the vacuum station and you have to dry off the car yourself. Really a terrible way to make more money by the company. Terrible Herbst is the equivalent of Lowes, Walmart and Starbucks to me, all be it on a valley level. The prices seem slightly elevated; it's the local version of the 7-11. On this particular morning, I stopped in and grabbed everything I would need for a busy morning. What struck me the most was absolutely friendly interaction I had with the gentleman behind the counter. This place is a joke. They have broken pumps and according to the attendant "can't put signs up or cones." That means that you repeatedly try to pump your gas and end up having to go inside to get a refund because the pump is broken but they don't tell you. Sounds like a scam to me. read more

came here with just the intention of getting a car wash. Decided that I should fill up my tank and noticed I'd get $.20 off per gallon for my car wash purchase. Started pumping my gas and at just over one gallon, the pump stopped. On the screen at the pump, it said all pumps have been stopped. I went inside to inquire what happened and the woman behind the counter was less than helpful. She barely spoke english and was on the phone with the manager that kept telling her to press the reset button. She said there was no such button and that she didn't know how to use the new system that was just installed 30 minutes prior. Instead of waiting for the pump, I got the car wash in hopes that they would be back on afterwards. They were which was great, but they wouldn't give me the $.20 off. The woman inside said that she did not know how to do that because she wasn't a manager and it was a new system that was installed 40 minutes ago. I understand learning a new system sometimes takes time, but why wouldn't you have a manager on property for any issues such as this scenario? I know I wouldn't have saved a ton of money, but it was frustrating that no one there knew how to handle the situation. read more
