I walk in, they look at me and carry on about their conversation about a customer who comes in everyday wanting free car washes. For his rental cars. My tip: how about paying attention to the paying customer in front of you, you'll make more money that way. It gets even better that when I get to the counter the conversation continues to where the cashier doesn't even notice I am there. She rings me up and continues her conversation. Still no hello, how's your day? - nothing. So I pay and she takes my receipt to do god knows what with, still in her conversation, doesn't say anything to me once again, no good bye have a great day - nothing. When I ask for my receipt she looks confused and hands it to me while still carrying on her conversation. Now with these fancy new machines they have made the 7-11 coffee experience next level. You can choose from several options. Cappuccino, Latte, Americano, extra shot, iced or hot just to name a few. I love a fresh Americano which is what I always get. I don't do creamer but I like Sugar Free syrups which this location has several of. THANK YOU! Not all locations offer a sugar free sweetener at all. I really appreciate that I have not just one but usually 3 or 4 delicious flavors like vanilla, caramel, or hazelnut to create the perfect hot coffee (Americano) before work. The personnel at Store 114 on 5675 South Grand Canyon have now become a part of my extended family. Having to stay near to my safe haven "home" means I'm subject to our community, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a fantastic thing. Every day, I get to meet fantastic people and have conversations about the same topics. My morning routine has distinguished this location. Every morning, I go to my local store #114 and buy two 5-hour energy shots, and now I have a shot companion. Tim Moyer is the sweetest person I've ever met.he will take all morning shots with me just so I don't do it by myself. It would be an understatement to say you have him in the perfect place in front of customers. It's a joy to return to a place where I feel comfortable and see the same wonderful people. I can't forget the wonderful ladies of 114#, Alicia and Alexis. My journey is new and uncertain these days. But one thing I am certain of is that your store is more than just a mainstay in my mind; it is family. It may sound stupid, but anyone with dementia will tell you that we appreciate compassion, humility, and just wonderful, pleasant people who make us smile, and they do. So allow me to give you a little story about what happened tonight to me…read more I have a sprained ankle that I'm limping slowly on and happened to get a flat tire on the way home in the middle of the night at about 2:10am I quickly turned into this chevron to fill my tire with air since my psi monitor indicated it was leaking fast and dangerously low to drive on, luckily I made it to the compressor just before it hit a compete flat. Now on the exterior entrance of the chevron it said the insides were locked off for cleaning from 1:30am-3:00am But I decided to ring the bell to see if the attendant could quickly get me change for a dollar so I could get air (0.50 cents to use the compressor) as it was an emergency. I rang probably about 5 times but no one answered and it looked empty inside, no one "cleaning" at all. So I had to limp all the way over the parkway tavern to get change, luckily the bar tender was nice and had change. I then limped all the way back to my car to fill it with air, just in time to notice a single car stop by the chevron entrance to drop off the gas station attendant and then drive off. So apparently this person had abandoned their work post to go off with their friend during their supposed "closed for cleaning" times, and left the station completely abandoned I assume. Perhaps management needs to check the date and times of who was working on this night Monday July 19th at 2:10am and have a talk with them. I'm not a fan of limping half a block on a casted foot for change for a dollar, but I'm also not a fan of people who are lazy and don't do their jobs or at least keep on their post.
