I've had wonderful experiences there but especially with Jamie in the spa and Holly and Amber for my hair. Jamie is an extremely talented professional and generally cares about our clients many things stand out, but most of all she builds deep, lasting relationships of the people she serves. She remembers important details about their lives, checks in with them with sincerity, making every appointment feel personal and meaningful rather than transactional. This is exactly why she keeps so many of her clients long-term. We feel tremendous connection and loyalty to her in addition to getting superior services. It's been distressing to watch the Spa decline over the years what it was once a place I found in inviting to visit now has become tired, neglected, and in desperate need of attention. Even for before this decline, I had been concerned about the pedicure chairs that were installed a long time ago. I believe they are safety hazard. I can no longer climb up into one, and I see other customers having the same difficulty. I think you're being unwise not to consider how precarious they are. Overall, the place appears dirty and worn. The space is outdated, stuffy, and simply not well maintained. It's most of all upsetting to see such an exceptional employees Jamie working conditions that don't reflect the quality of her services. Believe me, her clients were maintained because of her not because of the Spa environment. There seems to be a lack of investment by ownership in the business. Jamie and all your staff deserve a beautiful safe environment to work in. You're lucky to have such talented, caring professionals. I sent R Salon a message and Anthony, the owner, responded immediately with openings. One for the the same day which was a Saturday. He also let me know they could take me earlier so I was on my way to Clearwater! Immediately upon entering the salon, I felt so at ease. Anthony was there to greet me and introduced me to Jenna who was going to be my hair goddess. She was awesome! So friendly and personable. She also did an AMAZING job on my hair and did exactly what I wanted. A few caramel highlights in my Wednesday dark hair. She offered wine and of course I couldn't say no. So I sat in my chair waiting for the color to develop, drinking good wine, in great company with the staff and other salon patrons. It was like happy hour in the middle of the day. Jenna did it right, she didn't take any shortcuts. My hair does not develop blonde quickly, but she worked well with it. She was patient and professional. I LOVE the color. And she was able to correct my bad bang job from my previous haircut. I Love my hair! I can't wait to come back here! Parking is super easy, pull into McDonald's and then park in front of building B.
