When we called Frank to request a refund in early July, he was nasty and rude to my wife. In the phone conversation, Frank stated that he had to keep $200 of the $750 payment and would refund the difference. When my wife challenged this assertion by Frank, saying that he was unable to provide any service for the $200, Frank stated "How else can I stay in business?". This level of disconnect from his fellow man (or woman) tells me that Frank Gaglio does not have what it takes for me to EVER use the services that he offers. We encourage all others who have received this treatment from Frank Gaglio during the worst health crisis of our lives to share their experiences.

The April Lyndhurst show was canceled and I was reimbursed for the full amount, deposit included. The show in Rhinebeck was postponed then canceled, understandably due to the pandemic, but I was not fully reimbursed like in the case of the first cancellation of the Lyndhurst show. I emailed the director and asked for a full refund. They send me back a partial refund and kept $300. They said the deposit was non-refundable. I asked, why are you stealing my money? The response was we are allowed to keep $300 even if the show was canceled. I said I would take action and they responded by banning me from further shows, as I tried to forward the $300 as an advance for the next show. Beware of this company! Pay for your booth when you are actually in your booth! No wonder no-one pays their deposit... and waits until the last minute to pay in full. This is fraud!

He was also extremely knowledgeable about local wine! **THE EXPERIENCE** It was a gorgeous fall Saturday. I highly recommend taking this trip in October, as the foliage was breathtaking. Milea Vineyard, our first stop, felt like a mansion, and the tasting room was sunlit and gorgeous. Clinton Vineyards was more of a country farmhouse, and our group had a private tasting with the owner, Phyllis, who is a super interesting woman. And then, when we reached the inevitable stage of wedding decision fatigue, Katie took our hands and showed us the way. Katie is the rare person who can simultaneously be your wedding planner, therapist, friend, biggest supporter, and absolute bulldog when something needs to get done. She will fight for you. She will advocate for you. She will tell you what you need to hear. But she will also make sure you feel heard, validated, and supported every step of the way. Her knowledge and attention to detail are truly INSANE. She created the most incredible weekend timeline for us, complete with floor plan diagrams and little details we never would have thought to include. Whenever we had a question, Katie either already had the answer or immediately had a solution. And some of her advice ended up making a HUGE difference in our wedding experience. She taught us how to maximize our time with our photographer by staging our send-off earlier in the evening. She helped us figure out the most convenient time for everyone to sign our marriage license. She constantly encouraged us to let other people help us instead of trying to do everything ourselves. One of my favorite examples of Katie's attention to detail happened during our ceremony. She intentionally placed my family on the opposite side of the ceremony from me and my husband's family on the opposite side from him. At first, we didn't understand why. Then she explained: so our families could see OUR FACES instead of the backs of our heads. We immediately went, "OH. DUH." It was such a small detail that we never would have considered, but it made our guests' experience so much better. That's Katie in a nutshell -- she thinks about things we didn't even know needed thinking about. Katie also connected us with some of the BEST vendors we worked with, including our seamstress and transportation companies, and she already had relationships with some of our favorite vendors, including Bars Without Boundaries, Vara DJ's, and Tremont Tents. Her relationships and reputation in the wedding industry were invaluable. If you want the best of the best, Katie will make sure you know who they are. And then there were her helpers, who were absolutely INCREDIBLE. They were kind, attentive, helpful, and made us feel so taken care of throughout the entire day. Which brings me to the actual wedding day. I had ZERO worries. Not one. We trusted Katie completely, and we simply let her gently guide us through the day. She made sure we didn't miss a single important moment, kept everything moving, handled the details, and somehow made sure stress never even came near us. She also literally FED ME. At one point, I was so busy being a bride that I apparently forgot how eating works. Katie was feeding me while I was standing there, and when food started falling out of my mouth, SHE LITERALLY CAUGHT IT WITH HER HANDS SO IT WOULDN'T LAND ON MY DRESS. If that doesn't tell you what kind of wedding planner she is, I don't know what will. She was watching out for EVERYTHING. By the time my husband and I were leaving our wedding, we literally looked at each other and said: "THANK GOD WE HIRED KATIE." Because we truly could not have done this without her. Katie is patient, kind, incredibly smart, organized beyond belief, hilarious, fun, sassy, fiercely protective of her couples, and clearly doing exactly what she was made to do. I found Katie and she was amazing. She was a God sent. She gave us options for everything and walked us through everything. On our way to the airport to NY, for our wedding, we found out my husband's suit never arrived in NY.
