The location is in a great spot and the building is very clean and kept proper. The only complaint I would have is that I had to sit for quite awhile in the waiting room before my apointment. Dr Fedoretz was very kind though and made great conversation while I was getting my dental work done. Overall super happy with university dental. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I've ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. Dr. Podilsky is always open about my options and gives me realistic timelines, which I really appreciate. Dr Sekhon is so incredibly skilled and efficient. He does not go back and forth between patients like a lot of dentists do, making one filling take upwards of an hour. He has fixed other dentists poor work and really cares about the aesthetic outcome as well as quality and durability. His staff are very knowledgeable and soo kind. They really take their time with you and cleanings are very thorough. His practice also uses a lot of new "technology" that I have never seen before. Their office is gorgeous and equipped with IPads, Nespresso and chocolate. So even though they're incredible inconvenient because their office is like 35 mins away from me and they don't do direct billing.. I will forever go see him, because it is incredibly hard to find a quality dentist and one who does not leave you in worse pain then when you came in!!!! Last thing, they have a really skilled dental assistant there who can take off and put back on wires, so you don't have to go to your ortho before hand!!!

After the procedure, I kept going back because something clearly wasn't right. Instead of addressing the problem, they repeatedly prescribed antibiotics and insisted nothing was wrong. Over time, I saw multiple dentists trying to get answers, but no one wanted to take responsibility or properly investigate. (created a ton of fear) I was essentially passed from one office to another with no resolution. Nearly nine years later, I finally found a dentist who took my concerns seriously and referred me to an endodontist. The specialist confirmed that the original root canal had failed they missed a canal. It had been overfilled, which caused a pocket in my jaw that repeatedly became infected. For years, I was dealing with chronic infections, with my mouth flaring up every month or so, and no one acknowledging the real cause. The dentist who performed the procedure claimed to be a specialist, but based on the outcome, the quality of work was unacceptable. This wasn't just a minor issue--it led to long-term damage and significant health complications. I've dealt with chronic inflammation, recurring infections, and even hospital visits due to blood infections that were never properly traced back to the source at the time. I paid for professional care and trusted this office, and after 4 hours in a chair and thousands later in return, I was left dealing with the consequences of a failed procedure that no one would take responsibility for. It took nearly a decade to finally get a clear diagnosis and validation of what I had been experiencing the entire time.(keep in mind I couldn't live on antibiotics either so no medication to heal it or prevent infection or I'd end up immune to them if I did) I would strongly caution others to seek second opinions and ensure they are getting proper care, because my experience here resulted in years of unnecessary pain and avoidable health issues. I was told via text message that I will no long be able to make an appointment because I didn't give them 24 hours notice for the cancelation. There are plenty of dental offices in the area. I would suggest people use them 1st or go to the emergency dental center for compassionate dental care. Again Stay away from this dental office. They don't treat people with disabilities with anything close to respect.

Not everyone enjoys the dentist but I actually like it. The reason being is I like my dentist and her staff. I don't really enjoy practically laying down with my mouth open, with saw like sounds coming from it but there are tvs to distract you from all the noise. The dentists also speak Cantonese which is good for people who are more comfortable conversing in this language. Through the years there have been some new staff, which haven't been as good as some of the longer staff, and I wished they didn't do work on my teeth. I really appreciated when I didn't have health coverage that they took this into consideration. It's always nice to receive a toothbrush and floss when you leave, although I prefer choosing a toy from the treasure box just like when I was a kid. I will keep coming back as long as the dentists and long time staff continue to work here.
