Luckily she had open availability same day. Rochell was able to find all the tight muscles without me needing to tell her. She worked on each knot thoroughly and until it released. Was literally drooling the whole time and sighing each time the knot melted away. She's unlike any masseuse I've came across so far. Highly satisfied with her work and knowledge of the muscles. Would definitely recommend. I'm coming back just to bring my mom next time. Thank you so so much, Ate Rochell!

I've consistently had great experiences here, which is why I've continued supporting this business for so long. The therapists I've worked with have always been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely attentive. They take the time to listen to my concerns before each session and tailor the treatment accordingly. I always leave feeling significantly better than when I walked in, and that's why I've remained a loyal customer for so many years. Unfortunately, I recently learned that IMR is now charging a 3% surcharge for credit card payments, and I have to say, it really annoys me. In today's world, paying with a credit card is the norm, and accepting those processing fees has traditionally just been part of the cost of doing business. Seeing that expense passed directly on to loyal customers--especially members--was disappointing. I truly enjoy supporting this business and would much rather continue my membership, but this new surcharge has honestly made me question whether I want to keep it. It's unfortunate because the quality of the massages has never been the issue. I sincerely hope they reconsider this policy, because it's the one thing that's making me think twice about continuing as a member.

My girlfriend was kind enough to book and prepay for a 90-minute deep tissue massage for me, and decided to book one for herself at the same time. The first 45 minutes were spot on. The original masseuse found the knots in my back, neck, shoulders, and left hip and went straight to work. But midway through the session, someone else entered the room and took over without warning. First off, her hands were freezing. Second, she was completely worthless--zero pressure, no deep tissue work at all, just loads of oil and light rubbing. She "worked" on my right leg, but did absolutely nothing to address the muscle tension. By the end of the session, I was drenched in oil and literally walking with a limp because my left leg had been properly massaged by the first person, but my right leg received zero actual treatment. To make matters worse, when my girlfriend (who had the same masseuse for her entire session) approached the manager about why my therapist was switched, the manager's excuse was: "Oh, because it was her turn." No apology whatsoever. The manager just casually said, "When he comes back, he can request the full session be with the original masseuse." There will not be a next time. Terrible customer service, zero care for a client in pain, and completely unprofessional management. I would never recommend Thai Spa on Eastern Ave.

She's also trained in cupping and hot stone therapy, which adds another layer of relief and relaxation to her sessions. She knows exactly when and how to incorporate these techniques to maximize the benefit, and it always feels amazing. My husband and I actually found Heather through a Groupon about ten years ago when we booked a couple's massage at Massage Customs. At the time, he wasn't thrilled--he thought massages were "weird." But after that first visit, we were hooked. We started going once a month, and eventually he bumped it up to every two weeks! With both of us working in high-stress, professional environments, seeing Heather regularly has made a huge difference in our overall wellness. Beyond massages, we've had great conversations about nutrition, health, and even shared some of our favorite books on mental wellness. She's thoughtful, knowledgeable, and just one of those people you feel lucky to have in your life. I can't recommend Heather enough--she's hands down the best massage therapist in town, and you will not be disappointed.

This place sucks!!!! I decided to try this new place after seeing a Facebook coupon--which should have been my first red flag. I called ahead the day before, specifically requested someone skilled in deep tissue, and confirmed I wanted them to focus exclusively on my neck and shoulders (which my physical therapist had recommended). The receptionist assured me it was no problem and that I'd be paired with someone great. The reality was a complete disaster. Right after I got on the table, the therapist completely bypassed my requested areas and immediately started working on my glutes. I stopped her right away, reminded her that I needed my neck and shoulders done, and asked her to focus there. Instead of listening, she kept working on my lower back. When I questioned her technique and whether she actually knew how to perform proper deep tissue work, she essentially refused to do it. 15 min in I had to just stop her and leave she couldn't seem to figure out my problem areas like most can. Its ridiculous I drove across town for this. As someone who gets deep tissue massages regularly, I have never encountered a therapist who outright ignored explicit instructions or argued against a focused treatment plan. To make matters worse, both the therapist and the front desk staff were completely cold and unprofessional when I checked out. Skip this place entirely. Between the total disregard for client requests, poor communication, and hostile staff, I would never recommend it to anyone. Extremely unprofessional never in my life have I walked away from a massage or a massage therapist. To make matters worse, the therapist completely ignored my needs, offering no deep tissue work despite my booking, and instead spent the session soliciting me to follow her to another business. Also when I stopped her from proceeding with massage I asked her to please turn on the light so I could see. She ignored me completely and left me in the dark after slamming the door and while I was still talking. This person was the upmost unprofessional to me. And the staff their seems to support this behavior. Also the owners or managers wouldn't call me back even though ive reached out mutiple times since this incident. Lisa and or Jasmine were supposed to get back to me neither have. This whole establishment screams unprofessional and uncaring of needs.
