Kevin and Peggy go above and BEYOND at the register, making sure you get the most out of your coupons. Tonight I was still shopping and the store had closed but I had one item that I had not found yet. Mark the manager took time to help me try to find the item and no one rushed me. Kevin and Peggy were still at the registers and I was apologizing to them for keeping them late. In most stores that you go to today they want you out of the store before it even closes. But here everyone told me to take my time and make sure I had gotten what I needed. They truly understand the meaning of customer service!

Just checked my receipt and was charged for 2 items when I only purchased one of the particular item. So fed up. Bed, Bath, and Beyond would not return the appliance instead we were sent to their legal team who gave us the typical legal jargon about how it isn't their fault and to call the manufacturer. We did and were sent right back to Bed, Bath, And Beyond who were even ruder this time. If you value your home and don't want it burned down and don't want to see your family and children die DO NO BUY FROM THEM. We went to O.C. Richard's and Son and have never been happier. Please stay away and even boycott Bed, Bath, and Beyond for your families sake.

It's easy to find what you're looking for - the shelves are very well organized & the staff is very friendly & patient. After a long stressful day, the last thing I want to do is go shopping but the staff at this location are so positive and upbeat, going here is like retail therapy. I went there late last night for a few items. The cashier Angela (767) was very kind and had a great sense of humor. I left there feeling better than when I went in. Had a lot of fun ! Thank you for making my night! When the employees are happy, it reflects well on the company. The whole experience makes me really like BB&B. Plus I found exactly what I was looking for. That's okay though because they give out 20%-off coupons like water and I have a small collection of them. This is a pretty solid BB&B. I prefer it to the other local Westchester location in Mount Vernon for a number of reasons: it's larger, the parking is (slightly) better, and they have a full-service Harmon next door. Let's be honest, all BB&Bs are kind of a hot mess and difficult to navigate through, but if you have a little patience you'll get through and probably find what you need; the selection here is very good. I try to interact with the staff as little as possible, but everyone has been pretty friendly in my experiences. I always ask the recipient to send me a photo. The arrangement sent, in addiiton to it be a scaled down version of what I ordered, didn't look anything like what I ordered. Instead of roses and mini-carnations, they sent a bouquet of daisys. Pictures below. I ordered by phone and made a special point that I expected the arrangement to be of Premium value and close to what I ordered. They assured me no problem. When I saw what was sent I called, asked for the owner, and asked for a partial reimbursement at the very least to the Standard pricing. After being "talked over" by the owner, he finally begrudgingly agreed. He claimed it was "fair and equal value". I can assure you it wasn't even close. Beware!

The huge wooden table outside is a giveaway for what's to come and you'll notice exceptional designs that come at a price. These folks use real wood and no MDF or Particle Board crap. This is absolutely a premier treasure trove with humongous wood slab samples the same way there are smaller furniture pieces you can grab from the floor. We took a look at the intricate wood detailing and knew we were in the right place. Tried to speak to a floor person but the owner's wife suggested we speak to him directly as he has a better handle on design. He was busy so we scheduled an early Saturday afternoon appt to talk to him about style and price. Mauricio was welcoming, knows his stuff and answered all our questions. But between an extremely hefty kitchen gut job+repair+cabinets+labor, we didn't want to break the bank for a small dining table. So when we gave him measurements for a 5' wood table with black metal legs, we were looking at $3,150. I get it...it's custom made. Eyes wide open. Not ruling these folks out yet. Even if you don't buy anything, it's a great place to get lost for a couple of hours.

But for smaller sales - this might not be the place. I wanted to update my bedroom with a few new pieces. Came with measurements and a floor plan and my designer came up with a really creative way to set up my room. Sounds great - right? It was, until when the furniture was delivered, I discovered my designer had ordered the wrong size dresser/chest unit. It fits in my room but not in the way I thought it could be arranged. I called the store immediately, the designer came to the phone but offered no apologies, no options. It's a custom piece, of course, so I can't return it. But I am deeply disappointed and will not use this particular Ethan Allen again. Buying furniture should be fun - and for the price, their customers should be thrilled with how the room turns out. I can't dump tens of thousands on furniture right now - there will be plenty of business for them over time.
