This park is far beyond what o expected a park should be. With a coastline on one side and little rolling hills on the other it's a beautiful place to have the kids out for a day in the park. With lots and lots and lots of terrain, obstacles, and slides the kids (and adults) will probably never get bored. Also for the adult there is a Loop running/walking trail with amazing view of the coast and backdrop of the snowcapped mountains. Excellent place for all free family fun. I'm sure parking gets kinda sketchy in the summer due to the limited parking, but winter time is great.

Loved this hidden find/gem area. It was super windy when we went but enjoyed the zipline, playground (naturally made with wood, logs, metal). Limited plastic. You can view airplanes landing and taking off as it reminded me of Burlingame area by SFO airport. Wish I brought my bike or even walked further down the hiking gravel trail.

My 500th review! I adore this part of Richmond. Definitely a must to get away from the hectic city traffic and bustling people. Where else can you find a 1 million dollar playground with a huge slide and a zip line?! Plenty of free parking, picnic tables and portapotties. Beyond the playground there are wooden and gravel paths that maze through the protected lands that are home to many kinds of birds as well. Sadly, since this a bird sanctuary area, dogs are not allowed in this area. But the dyke path that surrounds the area is a lovely place to leash up and walk your doggo. Beautiful sunsets and amazing views of the water and mountains, this is my bliss. Also, a great place for photography - you'll find me here *snap snap*!

Terra Nova is a beautiful place to be! I enjoyed the walk around the Fraiser River. We even saw a bald eagle on our walk. Flowers were blooming, the weather was fantastic, and views were perfect.

This park is awesome. I would have given it five stars if it were more transit accessible, but as it is it is about a 25 minute walk from the nearest bus stop. Getting here still wasn't so bad, we live downtown, so we took the Canada line to Brighouse, then hopped on the 401 and got off at Westminster and One Rd. There is a little shopping mall there if you want to fuel up on Starbucks before you go. We hit the grocery store for some juice for the walk in. On the way in my son was complaining that for the walk this long, it better be the best park ever... And on the way out he confirmed, it was worth the walk. If you have kids, don't miss the playground here. It's one of the most unique in greater Vancouver. It features a three storey slide "the slide of my dreams" as my son put it. The trails are lovely too. We easily killed an entire day here. They have porta potties near the playground, and apparently plan to install a permanent washroom in the future.

Love this park, one of my favourite places in Richmond. Kids friendly, lots of infrastructures for them to play and dog friendly as well.

One of the best parks I've been. The giant slide was a perfect obstacle for my four year old. I highly recommend if you have kids.

A gorgeous park hidden away in the NW corner of Richmond, between the north arm of the Fraser river and the sea.
