    Sea bass

This restaurant is a short walk from the Park Guell. They have mostly outdoor seating, with a couple tables indoors but no AC. The calamari and sausage bolognese was 5/5, it tasted fresh and full of flavor. The sea bass however was just okay (3/5), not very flavorful and very thin. The Fruiti de mari was good as well (4/5). Not a super touristy spot so it's nice to escape from the massive crowds.

Great tapas! Perfect location if you're visiting park Guell. It's literally walking distance up the hill.

Wonderful spot to enjoy lunch after a visit to Park Guell. Very close to the park and good variety of items on the menu. Be sure to make reservations via WhatApp in order to get a prime spot in the outdoor courtyard. See website for contact info. And finish your meal with the owner's homemade limoncello!

Everything was delicious- ordered a goat cheese salad, meat and cheese platter and baked bass. All was perfectly prepared - great option for before or after park guell.

Terra Mia is near Park Guell but off the beaten trail. We sat outside on the terrace, and only encountered locals while we were here, a good sign if you asked Anthony Bourdain. We started with a half liter of sangria which was served in the most adorable little pitcher with the most adorable little wooden spoon. It became my sister's objective in life to find the same little pitcher and spoon so we could enjoy sangria at home the same way! The half liter was the perfect amount for 2 glasses. Lightly marinated olives in garlic and herbs were a nice start to the meal, offered complimentary as we perused the menu. They were so simple and yet utter perfection. This sounds silly, but we were served olives at a couple other restaurants this week, but these were my favorite olives. We were told that entrees are only served after noon, but since it was almost noon when we arrived we began with some tapas and then got an entree when it was available. We started with pan con tomate, a tapas staple, and one we ate many times throughout the week! This version was great! Nice and crispy and flavorful. We also tried the ham croquettes, which were the perfect little bites with a crisp exterior and a soft interior. They were served piping hot right out of the fryer. So far so good! We also shared the candele pasta entree. The pasta was perfectly al dente, generously sauced in a slightly spicy and very flavorful tomato and meat sauce featuring plump cherry tomato halves and crumbled chorizo. This added a bit of Spain to a typical Italian dish. We LOVED this pasta dish. Our meal was punctuated with a couple cappuccinos dusted with cocoa. It was quite good, and a nice finish to one of our favorite meals of the week. Although our tapas selections were nothing unique, they were executed well, and the pasta really took the meal over the top for us. Also, service was great, and we loved getting some fresh air and enjoying our meal surrounded by locals. It really felt like we were in the right place.

    Mussels

We were headed to Park Guell and when we got there, I realized we should probably eat first. Seeing only a couple ice cream stands we took a three minute walk down the hill and discovered this gem with beautiful outdoor seating. While we didn't have a reservation, we lucked out with a table after waiting five minutes. My husband had the Bolognese pasta, my daughter had the ravioli with a truffle cream sauce, my son had the Seabass and I had the mussels and salad. A nice glass of white wine went well with We had tickets for Park Guell and thought we might be late, but the service was excellent and they were able to get us in an out fairly quickly, even though I would've preferred not to have rushed. One of my favorite meals here in Barcelona so far. I highly recommend it.

    Seadas

Stopped in for lunch after a morning at Park Guell. Terra Mia has a nice patio area for outside dining and it was largely full when we arrived. We were seated promptly and found a nice variety on the menu. It was hard to decide what to order as we watched the amazing food delivered to neighboring tables. Ultimately, we shared a pitcher of sangria, a cheese board, the burrata salad, and the ravioli. Everything was incredible, including the Seadas for dessert. The service was friendly and prompt, and we would return again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Terra Mia, for a great dining experience!

Went here after park guell - had patatas bravas, goat cheese salad, octopus, Shisito peppers and ravioli which was excellent. Portion sizes were bigger than other restaurants and service was good. Good place post park guell

We stopped here after walking up to the top of Parc Del Guinardó and it was a quaint, wonderful experience. They have red and white sangria, we opted for the more traditional red sangria which was fabulous. It was sweet, had apple and orange slices, and it was strong. We paid less than 10€ for one liter, a reasonable price. The white sangria is even stronger for the bold. We ate the beef and vegetable dish per recommendation from he waitress and it was tender and tasty. The octopus melted in your mouth and came with a little spicy kick. Finally the uncured meats were classic Barcelona. The wait staff was incredibly warm and friendly. They recommended another place to eat paella and were professional from start to finish. Highly recommend stopping here if you're nearby.

We had a lovely lunch at this little tucked away spot! Was nice to escape the city for an afternoon and visit the Park and enjoy a quiet lunch here. We loved the burrata and the meat platter.

Great neighborhood restaurant just around the corner from the gaudi house! They have about a dozen. Tables outside. Menu consisted of starters, sandwiches, salads, entrees and desserts. My wife and I stumbled onto it and highly recommend her to others passing by.

This was recommended by friends awhile back, I remembered the modern ambiance, amazing Tapas, friendly service and the place was as busy then until now. For this big restaurant caliber, it's pretty crowded yet they do a good job with a fast turnaround. We did the early Dinner and by the time we got out there was already a long line for late Diners. The fact that even after a decade, it's rare that I go back to the same spot let alone they're still around after all these years. You already know that tells a lot and I feel bad for those who didn't have the same great experience, hope they give it another shot. See y'all soon! Salut, Vermouth!

My son had been here last year and thought, it was a solid. We put our name in, went to a nearby park bench to wait and watch people for 50 minutes. The servers outside are grumpy as to many people are crowding the sidewalk and impeding his service. Finally, our name was called, were seated at the bar, and watched a chef make the magic dishes. The menu is huge and I can't help but watch the delicious dishes flying by us. So little time and yet so many great choices, this won't be easy. We began with the beef tenderloin montadito foie gras. It was presented as a open face sandwich on a bagette. We split it as it had a huge piece of foie gras. The tenderloin was tough and the tapas tasted like indivdual components, not a blended or refined profile. The grilled razor clams were nicely cooked, slightly gritty and needed to be washed more thoroughly. The Spanish omelet wedge was spiritual, dish of the night award. The onion made the dish! The sliced fried artichoke was finely shaved, and again lacked a enjoyable flavor that I would order again. The chips with fried eggs and Jabugo ham was different, tasty and a concept I would not of thought about. Delicious! Casveseria Catalanahe was packed and stacked for a reason. A high vibe and energy even in the face of a revolt at the check in desk from hungry dinners. I came say without hesitation, we will give them a second try. The staff was friendly, engaging, warm and a good sense of humor, nothing but smiles. I can't wait for our next trip to Cerveseria Catalana and let them tell me what to order. Good luck and see you sooner than later.

After discovering that our first three choices were all shuttered, we ended up at La Pepita by default. Thankfully, it turned out to be a great find. The service was friendly and quick, and the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. We ordered a few snacks and drinks, all of which hit the spot. Everything was flavorful, nicely presented, and perfect for sharing. Even though it wasn't quite the dinner rush, there was a steady flow of people, which tells me it's a popular spot year-round, not just a backup when others are closed. Taverna El Glop wraps you up in its warm, lively atmosphere the second you walk in. We were a group of four, and from start to finish, we had an awesome time. The open kitchen is a great touch -- you can watch the chef in action, which adds to the energy and makes the whole experience feel more connected and authentic. We shared a bunch of dishes, and everything was on point. The paella was rich and delicious -- exactly what we came for. The patatas bravas were crispy, creamy, and gone in seconds, and the shishito peppers were the perfect salty, snacky starter. Of course, we had to get a pitcher of sangria (okay, maybe two), which was fruity, refreshing, and just strong enough to keep things festive. The space itself has this great, rustic charm -- complete with checkered tablecloths and even an old cigarette machine near the bar (haven't seen one of those since I was a kid -- aren't those banned in the U.S. now?). I don't smoke -- smoking sucks -- but it added a bit of unexpected nostalgia and character. Service was excellent. I always make a point to be friendly, ask people their names, and introduce myself -- and that's usually met with warmth. It definitely was here. The staff were quick, kind, and seemed to enjoy the place as much as we did. Personally, I loved it.
