Delicious breakfast. Both coconut and orange French toast are a must try, can't go wrong with either. Had the orange carrot juice and it was perfect. Also had the ham and quesillo omelette and it was so good. When I come back to visit, I'll be here and probably order the same thing

A safe place to eat. The food is nos incredible, but it is always the same quality. Un lugar seguro para comer, sus empanadas son lo mejor de aquí

This is a must stop for foodies in Huatulco! It looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but once you get inside it's a 5star establishment. The ambiance was wonderful a nice brake from the humidity and heat. I had the arrachera steak medium rare. It was so soft and flavorful melted in my mouth. The wife and I shared the queso fondido with chorizó it was full of flavor. The kids had a corn empanada and the 4 cheese pasta. The pasta was to die for! We tried several mezcals and mixed drinks, the package was complete! The deserts I could barely eat due to being stuffed but so flavorful. Once again if you can make it to Terra Cotta you won't be disappointed!

This was our first time here and it was great! Sonia was our server and she provided "gold standard"service. Dining out is always better when you have superb service. "Gracias" Sonia!! All of the other staff were very friendly and professional. The interior is clean, fresh and air conditioned. Started off with an awesome appetizer of coconut shrimp to accompany my margarita, both were very delicious. For my entree I had the "Arrachera" aka marinated flank steak and I will have trouble ordering anything else in the future. It was outstanding! My wife had a Spinach salad with a house made vinaigrette which was delicious and HUGE. We will be back!!

We also got the shrimp summer roll appetizer, a margarita, a cocktail with mezcal, orange juice and grenadine, and the churros for dessert. Did I mention the view of the private beach? It felt like our own private resort getaway. The restaurant is at the bottom of what seems like a decent size mountain with many hotels and houses along the way. When we come back to Huatulco, this will be our special dinner for the trip again.

Spaghetti shrimp 8/10 octopus 9/10 catch of the day (mahi mahi). 10/10 Everything was fantastic and we would 100% order them again. Definitely a lot of food for 2- we were stuffed. But of course we had to order dessert. Previous reviews said to try the Oreos fritos with vanilla ice cream and wow- so so good. 10/10. The churros with condensed milk and chocolate were a great hit too. 8/10 We hope to come back to try all of the other delicious items on the menu.

The restaurant looks really inviting although it is situated next to a quite busy road. I went to this restaurant several times because it was situated near our hotel, I love the "outside" seating under a big palm leaf roof, the staff were really really friendly and the food was really good for a great price. As the name says "pizza time" they have pizza on the menu, at first it look thick and American style but when you bite into a slice you will notice it is really crunchy "Italian style" pizza. That is exactly how I like my pizza. They have other things on the menu such as spaghetti and lasagna. We were told the lasagna was a speciality of the restaurant, because lasagna is one of my favourite meals I had to try this one; it was good but not anything to write home about. Other than Italian dishes they also have an extra hamburger menu, it exists out beef, chicken and fish burgers. I tried the chicken "Hamburger Time", a huge burger which was quite hard to eat because it was so full, the sauce was delicious (a kind of chipotle sauce) together with lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese and bacon. It was simply delicious!! The hamburger was served with French fries. All of the portions are huge so if you are with children think about ordering between you. An extra point of interest, you get a stamp per person who eats in the restaurant, when you collect 10 stamps you get 50 pesos off your next visit. Some extra info on this restaurant: a Canadian man came over to our table to ask if everything was O.K., he that he had set up this business, together with a few others, via his own initiative to help local teenagers to learn and have a goal in life. Because of his religious background he started to teach teenagers different aspects to run small businesses, when the teenagers had enough knowledge he let them run the businesses and all the aspects themselves. All of the staff are shareholders of their own business. I really liked this idea and you really noticed this because in this way the people are more motivated and always willing to improve their own business. Because of the religious background they do not serve alcohol but you can buy some in the Corona store next to the restaurant and drink it with your meal without a problem.

The wait was very long to get our food. It was nice to much on complimentary chips and salsa while we were waiting. I did enjoy our refreshing drinks though. I think this place is better for drinks and hanging out, not so much as a restaurant.

I've only been there twice and to be honest, I liked Canabrava so much, I went there for 3 great dinners and for a beatiful breakfast on the porch every morning. The service was not the greatest, but the food was great. We tried most of the entree items and everything was really tasty. I would recommend the catch of the day, which is usually - fresh Mahi Mahi. The steak and grilled dishes were great. The beers and mezcal flowed here, but it was always difficult to get our waiters attention. It is such a liesurely atmosphere in Escondido - it's hard to get too impatient when you're in paradise and the waves are crashing 200 yards from the restaurant. Try to get reservations and request a beachside table - these are preferred. I think the breakfasts here are also very nice. My friends had beautiful dishes, I prefer only coffee with the wonderful Pistachio mezcal crema (be sure to buy some bottles of this!!). I always snuck in a small bottle and had an excpetional pistachio coffee every morning to start the day - so damn good! I'm sure there are many, many great restaurants in Escondido, but for proximity to Zicatela, relaxing atmosphere, beach and great food - I highly recommend this spot and I will go there again on my next Escondido adventure.
