Lots of folks come for the shrimp tacos and margaritas, but I opted for something a bit different and got the shawarma and a lemonada (lime juice drink). The captain had a contact at Ve el Mar, where the Chef prepared a section on the fish for us. We arrived at the restaurant for our reservation time. Located right on the beach with live music playing and watching the sunset. We ordered drink Coconut Shrimp for an appetizer which was delicious by the way. Our catch of the day came out prepared two different ways BBQ style Chipotle and Garlic with butter, rice and veggies. Since we never had sailfish before was quite the treat. Let me start by saying the fish was smooth melt in your mouth with no fishy aftertaste, that we are use to back home. Was prepared to perfection in our opinion, we found the spice just enough to complement the fish. The service was fantastic made sure are drinks were well taken care of. Compliments to the Chef! The live music sang Spanish and English music was wonderful!! When in the area a must try restaurant.

My wife had shrimp in garlic and had the same veggies. The bad: We also ordered a ribeye steak to share and create our own surf n turf. The steak was overcooked and tough. We ordered it medium rare. The service started good but got worse as the night progressed. We were also constantly telling the solicitors "no". They constantly interrupted our dinner. The price was too much for the quality of food. I believe there are better options for dinner around town, but I would skip this one if I were you.
