Located right along the waterfront in Naples, the restaurant has plenty of outside seating and was on a lovely, relatively quiet, side street off the main drag, with citrus trees! We are English speakers, and while we tried to use some Italian, we were flawed, yet our server was very kind to us. We didn't find him lacking friendliness at all, he just wasn't outgoing and chatty like servers in the US can be (or maybe he was with people more fluent in Italian, who knows!). The menu is all vegan. My vegan brother was overjoyed at being able to eat everything, and the rest of us quickly found things to be excited about too. Highlights, in my opinion, included the antipasta mista platter (omg those vegan mozzarella sticks!!!), the ravioli (cooked to perfection, unbelievably flavorful and I couldn't believe there was no cheese in them!), and the grilled mushrooms (these shocked everyone at the table by tasting exactly like a STEAK!!!!). It is on the water with a wonderful view of the castle, perfect (and potentially romantic) for an evening meal. Once we arrived on the water taxi, greeted enthusiastically by probably the owner and shown to a table on the water. Was offered the opportunity to see the fresh fish, with each fish explained well (a nice variety of about 6 different types) and also how they were prepared. Started with three fish tartares, which were both good and interesting, each having a very unique taste. My main was one of the fresh fish (which I shared with my wife) with pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly and worked very well with the fish, which was served on the side so you got a true experience of the very fresh fish. For dessert, shared a fruit plate with my daughter, which was also great. A lot of very fresh fruit. Decided we did not want to take the water taxi home (my wife got sea sick as it is more of a water canoe with an engine) so asked for a regular taxi. Did not realize we had to walk up what felt like an infinite number of steps (probably about six stories) to get to the road, guess we burned up most of the calories from dinner. A great experience with a great view, just think twice before saying no to the water taxi.

The host welcomed us warmly and speaks fluently in at least 3 different languages. He offered us to try out some of his wines to help us in our choice, and the choice wasn't easy as quite a few were really good. We then got our plates, and that was the coup-de-grace. The penne al ragu were perfect, and even the simpler tomato-mozzarella my girlfriend ordered tasted like rainbows had been used in the recipe. No, sincerely, go there. I had a light pasta with in house made red sauce and the most tender chicken lightly seasoned . We came for lunch and almost every table was taken and able to get in right away without a wait. Our servers were kind and patient and we even had a chance to meet the owner! I would highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered a variety of pasta dishes. I do not remember the names of the dishes, but my favorite ones were the lemon pasta and the T-none Florentine steak cooked to perfection! The limoncello at the end of our meal topped it off for me! I will certainly return when I come back to Firenze!
