Best pest control , things are going well around the house since I've hired the reputable pest service back into my home . Had to take a break financially and that was a mistake , pest control is always key and a must in Florida. Terminex will keep coming back to treat the home and make it right as long as the pests remain, if not they come on their schedule time. Their service men always go above and beyond expectations to make sure everything is perfect . My service man is Wesley and he does a great Jon on the interior and exterior of my home to include the yard of ticks and fleas . The cost is well worth the benefit of having my home and animals comfortable to live in. Highly recommend them . I also see my employer trusts them . I contacted Terminix and made an appointment for wood destroying insect (termite) report for a lienholder. The call center didn't pass that message along to the technician Emmanuel so when he arrived, he was unable to complete the inspection. He made an appointment for a follow up, but he was a no-show. Recommend using another pest control company because Terminix drops the ball repeatedly. read more

I paid A LOT of money for Terminix services in the house that I'm renting, and I have spent A LOT of time scheduling and rearranging my day and WAITING for no one to show up. At this point, terminix should be paying me for my time. When they first came out, they replaced the garage door seal, and it has a bigger gap than it ever did initially. I have been promised by several technicians that they would add another piece to it, and it never happens. The guys that come out are always super nice and awesome, so I think it's Terminix in general that's the problem. I had an issue with an underground wasps nest. It was overlooked initially. When I called for someone to come out, he said usually that's $150 more...but he did me a "favor" and treated it for "free." They were still an issue the following day, so I looked it up on YouTube and poured boiling water and Dawn in the hole, and they haven't been back. (FREE TIP). The online chat is a joke, as the operator was condescending and rude. Please come out and treat my palmetto bugs and check the multitudes of glue traps in my attic and fix my garage door gap! At this point, I feel scammed. read more

I paid in full for rodent protection almost $4000 they came once they never came to check traps I had a decomposed rat I had to take to the trash the mesh after a month still is not finished. Responding to voicemails, text messages, phone calls, not happy. I'm sure Terminix being so large is a fantastic company , but I experienced a representative that works for them that made me feel this way ,no professionalism whatsoever. I left a lock box for them to take the key to my house out and put it in their lock box and in return with the code after tenting my home, they were supposed to take the key out and put it back into my lock box and failed to do so .I drove an hour and a half with U-Haul truck and trailer fully loaded. I was expecting after a previous conversation with this individual that once the inspector signed off, they would remove their lock box and place my key back in mine .I was unable to get into my home several days after we were notified that the house was OK to go back into .I spent time making several phone calls and text messages reaching out to this individual names not important, just an unfortunate lousy experience for the my first time read more

RUN... after being sold$3600 rodent mesh and then never hearing from them. I called Mike he said he was just the sales person he gave me Travis number he assured me they would be out. They didn't show up for appointment didn't call nothing I called a few days later they finally sent 1 person to start job. Mike the sales person said it would be a team and done in 2 days . we are now 30 days into this still not done the little work that poor worker did is now gapping so the rodents can crawl right through. What a horrible experience took time off work was very kind giving them time being understanding they were short staffed. I see all the 5 stars why wasn't my experience 5 stars I would have been happy with 3 stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They even sold me other services before finishing the job and I paid for that also I was giving them fair chance to do the job. Though there was an initial problem with the corporate office communicating with my local office, the Service Manager, John Taylor of Terminix Lakeland quickly stepped up to handle my time sensitive appointment. Corporate had scheduled a technician who was unavailable, so Mr Taylor personally came out to perform the service. He was personable and professional and was eager to do the right thing by the customer. read more

My husband and I bought a house built in 1935, it is a wood framed house and we felt it was necessary to hire a termite company. We decided on Terminix, we paid $900 down and $100 month for a yearly contract, this included both sub terranean and dry wood termites. We noticed activity twice within our contract and called the serviceman out and each time we were told, our house was settling and this was old activity, yet he would spray for this activity that we really didn't need to concern ourselves with. The third call, the serviceman came out and we were told, we need to tent our home, we have termites and by the way our year contract has ended and it was going to cost us $3k. When I asked for an actual price, the district manager told me it's figured on "air space" and he started quoting me the "cost" not the retail price and he said he was going to discount it $900, off of the second set of prices, $900 discount off of air space?! We have paid them $900 plus $100 month, plus $3k for tenting, 2 nights at the hotel, 2 nights at dog boarding, we've had to replace our landscaping that was 1' from the house ($300) this had cost us a small fortune!!! I feel the issue should've been handled properly, the second visit while we were under contract. This company is not to be trusted and I would not recommend them. read more
