This company was hired to inspect my home for termites, as part of closing on a sale. I suppose…read morethey saw this as a good opportunity to run a scam. They found "evidence of termites", which is actually a mark in the drywall over 5 feet off of the floor. The mark is where something hit the drywall from the outside, and it doesn't even go all the way through. Anyone can see this, even without shining a flashlight on it. We have had to hire a real termite professional to come and confirm that there is no termite damage. Here is the bottom line. I can't see how a professional could be this inept at their job. This seems like an intentional attempt at forcing a home seller into buying a termite contract. If so, that's criminal. On the other hand, they may just know less about termites than I even do. That's just incompetence.

He explained what their process would be as well as the steps that I would need to take before and after treatment. We spoke on a Monday morning and he had a technician scheduled for Wednesday afternoon. Loved the quick turnaround. I was traveling on Wednesday but left the house prepared for the technician and a key for entry. They had my phone number if there were an issues, but none arose. Normally they ask for the home being empty for 6 hours. Since I was away, I'd be gone for 24 and let them know they could really blast the place. :) My technician was Tyler and he did great. When I returned, I ventilated the space and followed the after-care steps (mostly regular and routine vacuuming). It's now been a week since the treatment and, best I can tell, the fleas are gone. I'd definitely work with Pest-X again.
