We have been fighting with this company for FOUR months. We supposedly cancelled over three months ago and we are still getting charged. Even getting double charged in July! This is a horrible company who continues to LIE. We were told that we had cancelled from a manager and just got charged again. They aren't even doing the job we are paying for. I love my technician, Darrel Baize. Have been a Terminix customer for almost 19 years In Texas and now in Pace, FL. All was well until I "bundled" my termite service with pest control. For some reason they had to give me a new account number. That was November 2022. Since February 2023 l've been trying to get my old and new accounts merged to no avail!! I've chatted with and spoken to customer service twice. Each time I was assured they would be combined. I've spoken to the Pensacola (FL) manager and he was of no help whatsoever. I have email from Terminix telling me the accounts should be merged within 48 hours and now it's June 2023 and I still have no access to my current account and my old account "died" last November. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. My service technician, Darrel Baize has talked to his boss and the manager. He's done more than he should have to do. I will more than likely CANCEL MY SERVICE completely since I can't get this resolved and no one cares. This is an IT issue and how hard can it rea be to merge two accounts? DO NOT USE TERMINIX. I sold my property 3 months ago yet they keep servicing and charging me. There is no way to cancel and no way to get in touch with the technician or local branch. When I tell them I called in 3 months ago to cancel they say they have NO RECORD of it. My Verizon phone records show I called them and was on the phone for 15m. Every time I call I get another person and they all say the same thing and are rude. Their business model is set up so you cant reach anyone or cancel your service. Horrible customer service and shady business practices. They placed you under some agreements where the only to cancel is by calling them - which is impossible. They will not give you credit for unrendered services. Their technician will come announced and immeditaly start spraying with chemicals that one could probably find a t Lowes or Home Depot. Whn you finally meet someone on the other line, their only goal is to make sure you do not cancel - they don't care about your concerns. Very bad company! read more

I used Terminix for a 2 year plan they offered me. At the end of the plan I called to cancel my service. I had to make 12 calls to get the service discontinued. They continued to charge my account for 2 more months. I requested a refund and was told I would receive the refund in 5 business days. I also received an e-mail in January stating I would get a refund. I have made numerous calls and they tell me the same thing every time but still no refund. I am tired of calling these people to get them to do the right thing. I would not recommend their services. read more

This review concerns the Terminix branch located at 4236N. Davis HW, Pensacola, FL 32503-2752. On 12 July 2019 we contracted with Terminix to inspect our property at 2968 Coral Strip Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL. Their inspection (contract number 55290-0712191834-3176) found no evidence of Formosan Termites, Subterranean Swarmer's or Subterranean Termites. They specifically stated in their contract dated 12 July 2019 that they had inspected the attic over the garage and that there were no signs of "Pests, Rodents, Termites, Wildlife, or other wood destroying Pests." This is a quote from their contract dated 12 July 2019. They then charged us $2,430 to treat the house with Trelona Compressed Termite bait. This necessitated the drilling holes in the stucco base of the house. In the process of doing this their technician damaged a water pipe which required the services of a plumber for repair. The plumber further added to the stucco damage to access the pipe for repair. We have photographs documenting the extensive damage to the stucco. Terminix's managers (Sean Young - sales representative, Matthew O'Rourke - local branch manager and Seth Easton - repair manager) assured us the damage would be repaired promptly. These promises were made on 17 July 2019. We were in constant contact with these managers from that date forward and were given constant assurances the damage would be repaired. I am writing this review on 2 April 2020 and the repairs have not been made. Nor has any compensation been offered. In January we hired Mr. Sam Hudgins of SEH Remodeling to repair the stucco damage that Terminix had caused. In the course of these repairs Mr. Hudgins found extensive termite damage to the back-door area and the garage attic. The damage was clearly visible. This damage is judged by Mr. Hudgins, an experienced and liscensed home repair specialist with over 15 years of experience in the Pensacola, Gulf Breeze area, to have existed for several years - clearly predating the Terminix inspection. While the back-door damage may have not been visible to the Terminix inspector - the garage attic damage was clearly visible. As I pointed above they specifcally stated that theyhad inspected the attic and had found no signs of damage. We have detailed photographic evidence of the damage in both areas. This damage was repaired at a cost of over $35,000. In February 2020 we contracted to sell the house and asked Terminix to provide us with a Termite bond to provide to the buyer. Terminix, despite the charge of $2,430 just seven months earlier refused to provide us with a termite bond. To sum up: 1. Terminix damaged our home and, despite numerous promises failed to repair the damage. 2. They claimed in their contract to have inspected the home and to have foun no sign of termite damage. There was $35,000 worth of damage. 3. Despite charing us $2430 for their services in July 2019 they were unwilling to provide a clear termite bond in Feb. 2020 - after we had fixed (for $35,000) the damage they claimed did not exist. If you are considering hiring a termite company I strongly encourage you not to use Terminix. If you are currently using Terminix I strongly encourage to change companies as soon as possible. As the narrative above shows they do not stand behind their contract nor follow through on their promises. Basically you will or have bought a worthless insurance policy. We have a second home insured by Terminix and will be canceling our policy. read more

If you are considering Terminix as your pest control company in Pensacola FL, make sure you are on the property when the technician is scheduled to treat your property, so you will know you have been serviced. More importantly, make sure you watch the technician as he/she services your property, so you can be sure you are getting the service you will be billed. As expensive as everything is these days, don't assume 1) the technician showed up and serviced your property and 2) if they did show up, that they did what you are paying for!! We have had Terminix "service" our property for the last 22 years, assuming we were getting serviced, only to find out that we weren't. The invoices came just the same! When we questioned the lack of service, they canceled our contract and refused to service our property. Which means we're getting the same service, we're just not paying for it. read more

I urgently needed help w flea control and pest control so I contacted Terminix, Davis Hwy., for some assistance. The initial inspection was a joke, flashlight in a few corners but I had pictures and started I needed flea fumigation. Chris and I came to a plan for industrial foggers w advanced notice so we could vacate home. He collected payment and signed me up for maintenance contract, don't do, but when it came to scheduling, tech notified us 15 mins. prior to coming had no idea what plan was and asked if we could wait outside for 2 hours or he would have to reschedule, take it or leave it. We refused. Chris said he wanted to help but ultimately couldn't fulfill commitment and canceled contract. Dodged a bullet the there. This company in my opinion is ridiculous. I go online to pay my bill and i have to wait until the date it is due not able to pay ahead of time. Then they change my plan rate without notifying me ahead of time. I pay $399 dollars a year for this policy and have not seen any results. I am going to find another company. read more

We just bought a mobile home. We were excited about it until we started to do deep cleaning on it and realized it was infested with roaches! We spent $100 on bomb's, which was a joke, another $100 on a ma & pop exterminator (Hams pest control) an even bigger joke, the only thing exterminated was our $100 we had finally had enough and called terminix , Josh came out and done an excellent job. He took his time. He sprayed inside, and out of the trailer. He sprayed our shed as well . He was very friendly, polite, and informative. I am so glad we called terminix our problem is solved. It took two applications because of the infestation ,but no more creepy roaches! Oh yeah the second time is free. If you have the same problem call terminix they will take good care of you. I have an issue that I just need to vent about. We have used Terminix for termite control/inspections for several years, and assume they are doing what they need to do, no termites, BUT their contract fees have inched up in price just about every year since we started the service. We Just received our statement for 2019 and it didn't just inch up a little it took a GIANT leap. Went from $297.00 in 2018 to $399.00 for this year!! They have customers over a barrel, because if you change services the new company will charge a total inspection fee plus the first years service which could run well over $1000...quite a bit less than the $399 to continue our current service. Just not sure why the service increased so drastically and not happy at all....would love to find another company and I am looking, but seems like this might be a loosing battle. read more

Our home has been under contract with #Terminix for the past 19 years. After receiving results from our WDO inspection last month, it showed extensive termite damage. After a month of back and forth phone calls to local managers/call centers we were informed today that Terminex will not be covering the $8,000 in damage because there were no live termites found. Please be very leary of their "guarantee" to cover any damage that happens while under their contract. Our home has had clean Terminix inspections since 1987 and a clean WDO in 2012. Obviously, this damage has occurred while under their contract. I would highly recommend considering other options rather than Terminix or switching if you currently have Terminix, it's not worth the hassle if you ever have issues. Had a horrible experience with this company. At first i called and they made an appointment on thursday with a back up appointment on friday. When they didn't show on thursday i called and they assured me they'd show on friday. When they didn't show on friday i called an appointment magically appeared in the system for monday. When they didn't show on monday i called again and they said the appointment was for wednesday. Needless to say i gave up and went with another company after wasting 3 workdays waiting around for noone to show up. read more

Mr. Keith Cuss(sp?) came to my home to remove the bait traps because we had cancelled our service. I shook his hand and introduced myself. He then pointed at a trap and said 'You can keep 'em. My boss said I don't have to fill in the holes so you can keep 'em.' I then told him as he was leaving 'This is the reason we are leaving.'. 'Leaving what?' he replied. I said 'You! You are the reason!' He then got in the truck and drove away. IMHO, he did not want to do the job. I called the HQ in Memphis. I was told to expect a phone call from the branch manager. Instead I get a call from Mr. Cuss(sp?) trying to apologize for his behavior. He said that is not the kind of person he is. I told him, 'That is exactly who you are'. That is the last thing someone wants to hear. If the manager called and said that we apologize and here is Keith to say it again, maybe. But since the manger lacks the initiative and courage to talk to a customer on the phone, maybe get gets what he deserves. read more
