Terrible service, we contracted and paid for pest removal over three weeks ago and still no service. This company is a scam!

And the saga continues I called Terminix back on Saturday to inform them that the service that I cancelled and was billed for did not work and they said lets get you an emergency follow up. I was then told there are not appointment available to take care of a bee infestestation inside of the house and they would have the local office contact me. Today I received a text that i am scheduled for a 7 am appointment tomorrow that i did not request. My brothers removed the drywall from the ceiling this weekend getting stung multiple times and sprayed the nest. Then preceed to cut out the almost 3 foot nest behind the drywall and subsequently repaired the drywal. Problem is now solved with no credit to Terminix. Picture below is just one piece of nest. I called into Terminix about the appointment text and they assure me there was no appointment scheduled that the text was an error. I assume this is one more lie to add onto all of the others. Terminix - One piece of massive nest - Pest Control Near Me - Olyphant, Pennsylvania

We called and made an appointment on Saturday for Monday afternoon, no one showed, called, or emailed. We called customer service and they told us our appointment had been moved 2 days out from our original appointment date. No notice or anything. Horrible communication and they are not professional at all! If you have a pest problem, you know how important it is to get rid of it. I took off of work to be here for that appointment and they couldn't even bother to call or email to check our next availability. read more

A minus 0 review! Horrible customer service. Unreliable, useless company. Do not fall for their scam. Paid 2,000 upfront to help us retrieve a squirrel from an area between our ceiling and roof. An inspector came and checked out the situation. He said no problem. He gave me multiple business cards and was super friendly. A few days later, a technician comes out and puts up a trap for the squirrel to go into and leave the house to go outside. Well, that lasted about a week. It fell down. Many calls later, no one came. There were texts and emails saying service was completed! The trap was literally on the ground outside. This was in November of 2024. Today is Feb 23, 2025 and someone came out two days ago and now sealed the entry way. The squirrel is now trapped!! You can hear it day and night doing all kinds of damage. It just wants to get out and get food. Tried calling and texting any manager yesterday and today. The only response I got.. how is Wed?? What????? I have no words. Incompetent is an understatement. Clearly this company does not care about its customers. As soon as they were payed, they were done. I'll be back with more reviews if anyone comes by Wednesday. I won't hold my breath. read more

This was the wort customer service experience I've had in a very long time. I called or service two weeks ago and when I called they said they would send an estimator out the following day within a two hour time window that they gave me. The estimator called me five minutes before the end of the time the service window ended and proceeded to tell me that if I only wanted a one time service, it was not necessary for him to come out and review the property. He said because I wanted a one time pest control he would send over a DocuSign and once I filled that out and paid, they would schedule a technician. He then proceeded to send a DocuSign that was priced $100 more than the published rate on the Internet for a one time pest control service. I called in and then company corrected the price and we scheduled for the following week two days later, I canceled the service because it had resolved itself so imagine my surprise and my elderly mother's surprise when they arrived and perform the service yesterday after canceling more than a week ago. I had decided to make a trip out of town since the service was no longer scheduled and was very surprised to get a credit card receipt in my email and my elderly mother who lives alone was very surprised to have a stranger at her home. This was anything but professional service and I will not be using or recommending this company ever again. My next stop is a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

I scheduled an appointment Friday was told. Austin Nash would be there Saturday between 4:00 and 6:00 wasted my whole Saturday waiting nothing. I called on Monday. They said my appointment was rescheduled with that Austin Nash would be there between 930 and 1130. No one EVER communicated that my appointment changed and it was rescheduled, never mind that, He never showed up then either. I was told by another person. It was going to be escalated. And that they would call me back in an hour. I never got a phone call. I called back one more time and now they can't guarantee an appointment and they don't understand why no one is responding, get it together TERMINEX Olyphant, PA...you suck! This is the worst communication. Why would I trust you to do anything in my home if you can't even communicate AND you can't honor what the appointment that your scheduler set up by looking at open available time slots. RIdiculous. Don't waste your time find someone who will respect it. Imagine how crappy their service probably is, if they can't even pick up a phone and let you know they're not coming. read more

Extremely unprofessional. They gave us a quote over the phone + in writing (email) they even took my credit card to hold off on and the next day they cancelled our appointment WITHOUT informing us because of their mistake of quoting us less/the wrong price (if a company is good they would have honored that price one time no matter what because it was THEIR FAULT) Had we not called that morning we would have never even known that they canceled! We found a way better company with excellent pricing and an unmatched service! We were lucky to find someone the same day Terminix cancelled our service and they were beyond amazing. The other company came to our house for an inspection within 2 hours and did pest control the same day within an hour after that. I will NEVER recommend Terminix! read more

If I could give a 0 I would. Drive 2 hours to my summer home in the poconos to "meet up" with the terminix guy between 1 and 5pm. Around 12:30 I called to verify time... we'll guess what?! Terminix canceled my appointment because they "weren't able to contact homeowner" I can 10000% assure you that no one called me or left a voicemail. I even picked up all my spam calls. Terminix should reimburse me for the gas used for the 5 hour round trip! I will NOT be contacting them to help w my ant issue, and I will make sure to tell everyone in my community that the service is just downright horrible. I would love to know, Is this how you run a company?! Bewildering. No wonder all your reviews in the area are 1 star. I wish I had checked before contacting your services. read more

Used them for pest control and 2 days after a treatment we caught two rodents in a very clean and sanitary home...It is like they spray sugar water! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They book appointments and then say they were never booked when you have the persons name you spoke with but will not put that person on the phone. RUN FROM THIS COMPANY, there are other ones out there and we have gone around them to their corporate about this division based out of Olyphant, PA. If I could give no stars I would!! This company is complete S**T!!! They call demanding their money, but yet have not fulfilled their end of the contract. I'm paying $1000 a year for caulk to sit in cracks to my house, but yet still have a rodent problem because the first time they were out here they didn't do the job right at all. They never show up on time for appointments, that's if your lucky and they show up at all. My wife was treated like a POS when talking to customer service. I am very pleased with Terminix and their staff! The salesman was honest and forthcoming and presented well. He even reviewed multiple packages for me after a detailed inspection. I live in a unique location in a log cabin, it has been 7 days and I have seen not one live bug but have found inumerous dead ones! Species, ie: roaches, I didn't know I had. The onsite tech was curteous and friendly and explained his product well. I feel it's money well spent! Thanks! read more

Be very Careful with this company.....paid over thousands of dollars for an exterminating, termite services and a suspended dehumidifier they never show up for appointments, never send out qualified technicians that can repair or replace the defective dehumidier (that is still under warranty!)...now they've taken it and made appts to "supposedly reinstall" but won't return and keep blaming the manufacturer. The manager is always out in the field...never available! claim they have check bait traps...how if i wasn't at my property to see or witness...driving by and looking doesn't suffice...they are unreliable and conduct business very poorly Terrible customer service... they book appointments and don't keep them.....they book appointments and never show up or send out an unqualified technician and waste your time..... We have already made contact with their corporate office about this division based out of olyphant, pa. and we are contacting the manufacturer directly as well. read more

I contracted them to remove bats from my attic, clean the area and close the entrance to the attic in July, immediately paid $1100 for the service, and set up an appointment. They never showed for the original appointment and several phone calls later they finally showed in November. By then the bats were already gone and the cleaning never took place. They sprayed foam in the opening and frankly made a mess of it. Do not contract Terminex. read more
