The gentlemen who took care of everything were amazing, they were knowledgeable and transparent in their answers which put my mind at ease. I can now visit my mom without any concerns. They offered a free attic inspection -- and I later learned they also do free crawl space inspections. The technician, Chris, came out, went up into the attic, and came back down with several photos. When I asked him to email the pictures to me, he said he would. I've made that same request twice to the office since then, and I still don't have the photos. During the visit, he pointed to marks in the pictures and said they were "signs of pests." He also pointed out a tiny hole in the insulation, claiming it was pest-related -- though honestly, it was so small that only a bug could fit through. His recommendation was to remove all of the attic insulation, treat for pests, reinstall new insulation, and cover the outside vents -- for a total of just over $4,000. I haven't seen or heard any evidence of pests in my attic -- no scratching, no droppings, nothing. Yet I can't reach Chris, and the office still hasn't sent me his report or photos. So I'm left wondering: was Orkin being honest about an infestation, or did the technician just make a big claim and move on?

Cleggs salesman, Gary, came out to do a name change on the quarterly service agreement of the dehumidifier. He told me they come out quarterly and would clean or change the filter and check the crawl space in 4 areas to see the humidity levels . When Gary showed up he also brought along his manager who I do not recall his name. Gary tried to tell me I would have to pay an additional fee to change names with them , so I essentially was paying them double for paperwork. He did not mention any of this on the phone and I felt he brought his manager to back him up to pressure me. Thankfully I kicked them out of my house and called another crawl space company to service the unit . The filter on the dehumidifier was completely black like it had not been serviced in years . The other company showed me pictures of mold growth on the wood and how insulation was falling down everywhere and how the dehumidifier unit was not level . They also left the whole front porch open to the crawl space and the company told me that my dehumidifier was working overtime to try and keep up . I feel really bad that my family members was taken complete advantage of over approximately 8 years. The initial cost of the crawl space encapsulation to the $50 a quarter fee of "cleaning and inspecting ". Now I have an over $10,000 bill to clean up their mess . Clegg's did a THOROUGH inspection before even beginning. Our tech, David, explained everything that he was doing. Very prompt, courteous and professional. Unfortunately, we had to have them come back to treat inside the walls..NO CHARGE That did the trick. I finally could cook without ants everywhere. I literally wasn't able to cook often until Clegg's took care of the problem. They saved my sanity. The office staff was caring, professional and knowledgeable. If they need to come back out for a spot treatment, they will schedule you in within 1-2 days. I have zero complaints about them.
