VERY shady business practices and pushy salesmen. They strolled into our neighborhood last week and…read morethey caught me the 2nd day they were there. I informed the guy that I already had a pest control company that I was pleased with, he asked several questions about what they do for me, how much they charge, etc and he had a comeback for every response and trash talked my current company. Then he flat out lied and told me that my company sold out to a larger company and that my rates would go up. I told him I was in a contract and was grandfathered in and that my rate wouldn't change until I left their service, he continued to argue and basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about and then proceeded to try to schedule an appointment for the following day. I told him my company had just been to our property the week before and took care of everything but he just kept on trying to push me into committing to an appointment. I told him I was not interested at this time, I asked for a business card and was told they didn't have any so I took a picture of the flyer he had and told him I going to call my company to ask them about what he was telling me. I had to shut the door on him b/c he just wouldn't take no for an answer. I promptly called the company I'm currently using and told them what just happened and they just laughed and said everything he told me was false. There were discussions from my other neighbors on our neighborhood FB group and they all had the same things to say about this company. I know one of my neighbors left a Google review and then the next day their review got deleted. So all these 5 star reviews on Google are NOT true and I'm going to guess that my review will not last long either but hopefully at least a few people will see it before they delete it.

The specialist we worked with, Mark East, was very professional and knowledgeable. We had a mouse…read morein our home, and after pricing out some options, we chose Orkin. We had killed the mouse we saw with a regular trap, but were worried about additional mice since we live near a field. Orkin's package included an initial appointment and subsequent follow ups to check traps and provide additional service if the problem persists. The cost for the initial appointment was lower than other options, and included an inspection of all areas of the home, trap placement and indoor and outdoor perimeter treatment for all pests (bugs, spiders, etc.) The follow up appointments will occur after 30 days, and then every two months. If we continue with appointments for the recommended year time frame, the overall cost is a bit expensive, but we can end those appointments at any time if we feel the problem is eliminated. We only waited a day after our initial call for Mark to come out to our home, which was great since we were concerned and wanted the issue taken care of quickly. As with most services, we were given a 4 hour time window. Mark showed up 30 minutes into that window, which was a positive. He provided a description of what he would do upfront, and at the end of the appointment, he provided next steps. Mark gave us his card to reach out directly if any questions or issues come up in between appointments. He will be the one working with use throughout the process, which is another positive. Overall, we were happy with the professionalism, speed and comprehensive nature of Orkin's service.

His name is Earl Haller. He has gone above and beyond to absolutely help solve all our pest problems. I really appreciate everything he has done.
