Steve's sprayed the inside and outside of our home and a week later we were still seeing bugs and spiders. When I called to ask for a respray or discount, I was told I needed to pay for the first treatment and then he could work with me. I paid $385 and when I ask if they could be willing to spray again since we were still seeing bugs, Dave said yes, but we will owe the full amount again. I called Steve's after purchasing a lake area home that had sat vacant for about a year and was infested with spiders---we identified both wolf and brown recluse as the primary infestations, neither of which I want to be roomies with. I was anxious to get in and empty the home of the previous owners' furnishings and start the renovations I wanted to do, but as the song states, "I don't do spiders and snakes!" lol In a walk thru, we saw so many big ol' spiders that I let my husband complete the walk thru while I ran outside frantically brushing off the ten million imaginary arachnids I just knew were crawling all over me. They were that heavy. As the home was vacant, a tech came out and heavily sprayed inside, outside, crawl space, etc. We chose to go with their year-round plan as the area we're in is heavily wooded and we're only there part time, so it's a perfect creepy crawly environment. After the initial treatment, we found spider skeletons everywhere but have since not seen a single creepy crawly. They come once a month fall to fall and will come as needed if we have a reason during the winter months or any other time if we feel we need something extra. They also set up rodent traps outside just because the area we're in could potentially be a welcoming environment for rodents. I have not seen any sign at all of so much as a mouse. As I am not there year-round, the tech always sends me a text or email to let me know they've been there and sprayed, calls if there are any questions and once even called me because he was there to treat outdoors and noticed a vehicle in my drive and just wanted to check to be sure it should be there. We were having a big problem with spiders (Recluse) which had already bit family members. Steve's came in and sprayed and we are spider free. They also got rid of the wasp that were building hives on our back porch. We have the person number of our pest guy, he is very knowledgeable and nice. My pets even like him. Extremely pleased with this service. They came out during a renovation and could not completely treat the house because of that. Called this AM (10/01) and within a n hour had a callback and was told they are on their way. Resprayed areas that had not been done due to renovations and were very thorough. Almost $2000 we definitely didn't have to scrap up but we did for a bed bug issue they came in did inspection said they would need windows to open no big deal the day of treatment only went thru front door. Came back said we were good found four more was told they were walking dead means can't eat or reproduce within two weeks of that we r seeing them again and are getting bit so they r feeding which means reproducng also can't get a hold of anyone and always rude when I call office. Definitely if ur a single income family don't go to them they will take ur money for not taken care of the problem. read more

Bernie from Steves pest control decided to open my gate ignoring the beware of dog sign and walk directly into my fenced in yard. luckily my dog was on the porch upstairs not out in the yard. I don't want my dog put in that situation or the employee.we were very clear that do not come over to or on our property unless you have gotten on the phone confirmation from us that we know when you're coming and have told you that it is OK to come. They said that they did call but obviously they did not talked to anybody this is just stupid and dangerous Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Had them come out and spray the house for bugs, still have the bugs. At $255.00 dollars I would have expected that all of the bugs would have been gone. Now, they want another $165. 00 to come spray again, Not imp! read more

No guarantee of treatment effectiveness. Entire home and exterior was treated for $225. I was hoping they'd die off, but I was still seeing small bugs 2 weeks after. They said they could come treat again for a discounted price of $112 since it was within the first 30 days. This is the first time that I've had a pest control charge for a follow up visit. I decided to go with a competitor that offers a no-charge guarantee between quarterly treatments. Lady who answered the phone was polite. So, no issues in that regards. read more

Exceptional experience from the get go! My call to ask questions and get information was handled by Sam. He was courteous and informative. I greatly appreciated the level of customer service he displayed and how pleasant the conversation was. I was able to schedule my pest control within 2 days of the phone call, what a relief! When John arrived to perform the work, he was kind, thoughtful, and very respectful of our belongings. He quickly performed the work and answered more of my questions. Just another outstanding guy, I couldn't be happier with all of my interactions with this company! Steves Pest control is a business I have used many times in my 30 years in the rental business but after they're last service I will go with a different company. The came out on a Thursday to do a treatment for fleas on a vacant house, the tech sprayed the house down really heavy as there was nobody living there and said not to go back into until after the following Monday, here it is Tuesday and I go in and it is still flea infested, no difference that I can tell, I call and explain this and immediately get the disclaimer of I should have been vacuuming it as these are new fleas, right! So apparently they're product won't even kill fleas for four days and then it's all my fault but they inform my that they will be expecting my payment in 30 days. Okay you clowns I will wait that 30 days. I also googled how to kill fleas and came up with bleach, it immediately knocked them out, I told the rude phone service guy and he really got excited telling me that any responsibility just went out the window like they had any in the first place. I strongly suggest avoiding Steve's pest control. read more

Definitely the highest prices in the area!!! I called around to 4 companies in the area and they were almost double the price AND if they need to come back, the follow up is NOT included at all!!!!! Way too pricey! Call around for prices before you pick steve's! Other than that, the staff was nice on the phone. They had to call me back for prices. read more
