As being a member of the Paper Store Perks, I received an offer of 20% off total purchase for my birthday. The offer was valid in-store and online for a whole month and it excluded some brand names like Air & Anchor, Birkenstock, Bogg Bags, Bombas, Cotopaxi, Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments, Jellycat, kate spade NEW YORK, Owala, sale and clearance, and gift cards. I was able to use it for Lavender Wildflowers Boxed Everyday Note Cards. I continued browsing the website and saw some Jellycats that were sold out on the official Jellycats website. I was so happy to get the Little Pup Bag Charm and Amuseable Birthday Cake Plush! There were options for delivery or in-store pickup. Some Jellycats were not available for shipping and only the free pick up in store option. With that option, I was able to select which store to pickup. I submitted my order at 9:36am and at 10:35am, I received an email that my order is ready for pickup. The order has to be picked up within 5 days or the product will be returned to inventory. The Paper Store is located in Legacy Place. There are plenty of parking spots and Legacy Place has many other businesses. I browsed the store and asked a staff member where I could find the Dubai Bars. The staff member informed me they were at the checkout counter. I picked up 2 Dubai Bars ($25.00 each) for friends and a Dubai Birthday Cake ($25.00) for myself. I also informed them that I had an order to pickup. The staff member asked me for my name and brought my online order to me. After picking up my order, I received an email saying thank you for picking up your order.

This goes for any of their locations…read more They have fun gifty trinkets, clothing, puzzles, games, toys, drink ware, gadgets, jewelry, the list goes on. It's particularly fun to come here around the holidays because they have a ton of good stuff for your house or to gift somebody, but it's always staged (and organized) nicely too. I came in for a journal and some pens to get as a birthday present for my friend and I could've spent another hour walking around looking at all the other stuff they had out. Super speedy checkout. No line, was in and out in no time.

She doesn't get it…read more Again, if you don't want your customers to feel cheated, either have a sign that clearly states how tip is calculated (if tipping based on percentage) or fix your POS system. I understand tipping is a choice and I tipped because the nurse was great. Like a lot of customers, I chose percentage because it just simplifies things. HOWEVER, my expectation is that I am charged tip only for the service portion of the purchase. If I buy another $100+ worth of products, I don't expect those to be calculated as a part of the tip. Again, suggestion was simple...either have a sign to let your clients know upfront how tip is calculated when selecting the percentage option or to fix your POS. I don't need to be reminded to the fact that tip is never required or I can select the custom option. Apparently, there are others in the review who is not happy with the money aspect of your service. TIPPERS BE AWARE! I will start by saying that the service itself was terrific and the nurse that worked with our daughters were great so this is not a feedback based on their service. My Beef is with their payment system...specifically with their tipping system. You can call it a user error, but honestly, I feel like I got taken. Either way, I've attached a pic for reference. After their service, because of how great the nurse was, I wanted to show them a little appreciation by leaving them a tip. There's the option for custom amount, then, of course, your standard suggested tip percentage, which I chose to use. What I did not realized was that, when you choose this option, you are actually paying tip on the entire purchase, not just on the ear piercing service. Of course, this being a quick payment transaction, I didn't even think of asking thinking that only the piercing service would be charged the tip. Only after we left the shop and checked the receipt, did I realize that we got charged the percentage for the entire purchase. To me, this is unexceptionable practice. This is not a restaurant and, if I choose to leave a tip as a percentage, only the service part of the receipt should be charged, not the entire purchase. This led me to feel misled and cheated. So, while the service itself is great, take this as a warning and, if you want to leave a tip, select a custom amount and don't use a percentage unless you're okay with being charged the percentage on any other items that you may have purchased at the same time. For the business owner, do your customers a favor and either have your staff tell the clients how the tip works or have a sign near the register explaining how tipping using percentage works at your business. I'm sure I'm not the only person that feels either taken, or worse, don't even realize that this is what happened. Turned a great experience into a source experience as a result.
