For this one it was a larger store. So I was able to find a few nice beads. The only thing is they didn't have needle point cloth with patters so I had to order them from Amazon. Unfortunately Amazon has everything but going to the stores is a lot better because you can touch and see what you are buying, they are a bit more on the pricier side. I will still go back.

Not only is the location more favorable (in the mall area) but I think it's also a new(er) store. Inside, it's more streamlined, the staff seems more happier and that "new store smell'' is always a plus. And a more expansive parking lot. We spent over $300 on this project, so we weren't just there to waste time. My two grandsons were a bit rambunctious after being cooped up in the house the last two days. They were running in the aisles but steering clear of the merchandise. A sour looking employee happened to be doing some menial work near where the boys were running around and at one point yelled at my daughter to control her kids and make them stop running around the merchandise. I was personally keeping an eye on the boys and making sure they stayed in the middle of the aisle and were nowhere near anything they could disturb. We didn't appreciate her rude attitude, nor her unsolicited "parenting" towards my daughter and grandkids. Her income is based on customers purchasing products. If her lousy attitude chases people away, Hobby Lobby loses business. I asked the cashier for the name of that unprofessional, unfriendly witch, since she happened to be standing behind her. She told me her name is Annie. So, I advise whoever is in charge of this Annie, to train her how to properly deal with customers who are spending large amounts in the store. She is a huge turnoff!!

Although I can't imagine myself having to multitask between painting, munching and sipping wine, I think that it adds to the fun and casual vibe of the place. The two ladies who are there are very helpful and they do their best to make you feel at home. In other words, they're there to support you in your pursuit to discover your inner artist. Based on my first ever visit, I notice that there's quite a nice diversity of guests to come. One can tell most of them are not newbies to Artsy Fartsy, and it looks like some who came over are friends. I myself came with two good friends, and for all it's worth, having them sitting right next to me really made me feel at ease, having to sit in a sea of perfect strangers. And yes, we had snacks of fresh fruit, bite-sized chocolates, and pretzels LoL but we didn't bother with eating because, as I've said before, it was very hard to eat and paint and drink. Management was fair, honest and sincerely cared about our project (Rather small in the scheme of things!). We had ~1300 SQ FT of Concrete; New Aluminum Metal Roof with 1.75" Rigid Foam Insulation, on both our Manufactured Home and the roofs of our Carport and Patio Room too; Patio Room was enclosed with Solar Screening, ceiling fans added, and a 9' wide Roller Screen Panel; Carport was extended in length, and the West side was Solar Screened. (Both Carport and Patio Room were basically rebuilt.) I'll note that this was in the hot months of 2024. And so far we're seeing a 20-30% reduction of AC run time, per the Smart Thermostat, due to the roof and solar screening. I, we, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Westerner. Decades of experience was evident. Value? Many times in life, the rock bottom price for an item or project - turns out not to be a good investment. We feel we made a solid investment in our Foothills home, and that over the decades ahead, the higher quality of materials and cost of the skillset to do the job right - will pay dividends via smiles of usage.
