Louise was so knowledgeable about their product and after hearing about my event she was able to recommend the perfect tent and layout for the size we needed. Louise was ALWAYS available by phone or email to help when I was making changes or asking questions. They also supplied us with the linens and they were beautiful and turned out exactly as I had hoped. We had a little hiccup on set up day, which was totally my fault yet the team came back out the next day and fixed is for us. As a result we had a beautiful looking tent. Terrible communication and service. Maylinda and Elvin give the company a bad name. The owner may want to remind employees of the company's Core Values. They seem to lack integrity, a serving mentality, trustworthiness, and excellence. They don't call back as promised or work with your schedule. And of course, how dare you question their high pricing compared to competitors for the same tents and additional equipment. The quote sheet was extremely disorganized and hard to read as if they were trying to hide some of their additional charges. Truly disappointed but still wish them luck in this coming economic climate we are stepping into. Not sure if a company who does not put customers first will make it; especially, one that tells customers to go somewhere else to do business when they just ask a question. After exhausting the few places I knew, I stumbled across Tents for Rent. As the wedding was less than a few months away I was worried. Louise got right back to me and became the calming factor I needed. She made suggestions without being pushy, she took her time, responded quickly to all of my questions and stayed in touch. Very polite, friendly, and if she didn't know the answer to any of our questions, she made sure to look into it and get back to us or put us in touch with someone else. Kent Martin supervised the team that delivered and set up our tent on the day of our event and he was also great. Extremely polite, communicative, and accommodating. This Issue/Review is about the Tents for Rents deposit policy. I feel it was not explained correctly and was given to me in a passing comment without anyone presenting the actual consequence of canceling an order. Like most consumers, I didn't read every line in the contract which was a costly error.  I was planning an event that could not come together, pushing me to cancel my $1,600 tent order.  Most of this interaction was done via email, with one visit months after the initial deposit in the late summer of 2021.  I was demanded I make a 25% deposit on the order.  When I arrived to make the deposit, we had a small conversation about the deposit and I understood the policy as Tent for Rents would keep 25% of your deposit if you cancel the order, which was fine at the time but still anti-consumer since the event was 7 to 8 months away.  In canceling my request on December 15, 2021, Tents for Rents explained to me and, of course, directed to the contract that Tent for Rents keep 25% of the entire contract amount even if you cancel five months ahead of the event, which I think is incredibly greedy.  I work in a customer-facing industry, and I couldn't imagine taking $500 from someone for seven emails and one 15 minute drive to see the property.  I'm saddened they approached this interaction this way and Tents for Rents has no desire to compromise. Please be careful how much money you put down and be prepared to lose most or all of it read more

Price was reasonable. The tent was in excellent condition. It rained and the sidewalls came in handy and everyone kept dry. We needed a tent to cover our patio for a September bridal shower in Reamstown. Elvin Sensenig was wonderful. He suggested the 20x30 tent. It was the perfect size for our venue and did not need a center pole. Installation was seamless and timely. The tent was white, sturdy and looked fabulous for our semi-formal occasion. We rented a dozen chairs for our small service from Tents for Rent because they were the business with a connection to the venue where we got married. They were serving a larger wedding the following day so it was convenient to use them for ours. We learned later from reading a Google Places review elsewhere that the company does not "condone a lesbian lifestyle". Upon renting our chairs, we were not asked about our "lifestyle" or religious beliefs. Had that come up, we would not have rented from this company. Furthermore, we were left unsatisfied with the actual service. In the days leading up to the ceremony I reached out via email to confirm delivery details but received no response. The hour before the ceremony the chair were not where we had previously been told chairs would be delivered to. So the first time I saw my wife in her wedding dress, I was on the phone with the company being told that the delivery was late and had not arrived yet. They would later call back, just before the scheduled start if the ceremony, to say that the delivery had actually happened but were elsewhere on the property. If I had been told that originally, that would have been manageable, but that they didn't know the delivery had happened is incredibly frustrating. The venue got our chairs to the location of the ceremony and informed us they would return them to the delivery point for the other ceremony. This did not happen as I, not the venue, recieved 8 phone calls from Tents for Rent looking for the dozen chairs used for our ceremony and I had to be the one to tell them to talk to the venue. It was a dozen chairs for a small ceremony at a venue they've worked with before and it ended up being a hassle. Some of this could be blamed on the venue, but the service was still very poor. In short, if you are looking for over a dozen chairs, I would think twice. read more

Tents for rent did a phenomenal job at my & my husband's wedding this past week! The set up was quick & impressive (this was a 40x80 tent with lights, 3 heaters, 2 generators, side walls, restroom trailer, & drop off of a ton of chairs + linens) The guys setting up our tent were very nice & answered all of my detailed questions. The process of communicating with them leading up to our wedding was fantastic as well! I called several times with different questions and to add or remove different things off of our quote & received excellent customer service and very quick email responses with updated quotes. The only hiccup we had was one of the heaters turned on & off a couple of times making it a little colder at one part of the tent, still not sure if that was user error due to a lot being plugged into the generator or if it was the heater itself, but either way it wasn't a big deal. 5/5 recommend this company for any special event! read more

I highly recommend Tents For Rent. I needed a tent, tables, chairs, a dance floor, speakers, etc. for a backyard wedding, but most importantly, I needed a consultation with someone who could check out my backyard and confirm that a tent would work. I am right on the edge of the area they serve, so they were not my original choice. The first company I spoke to did not offer consultations. The second said they would get back to me about one but never did. Tents for Rent replied to me promptly and sent out someone for the consultation so that we could get the ball rolling. They had most of the things I was looking for and provided advice on the things they didn't. I must have called a dozen times before the wedding to update my list and they were kind and patient every time. When it was time to set up the tent, they came and got it done in the blink of an eye. I just had my wedding a week ago and couldn't have done it without their help! If they are not too far from you, then you can't find anyone better. read more

The company representative that I had spoke to to make arrangements was really helpful and helped me add things to my order and was friendly enough to also send me pictures of tents. She was great! However, the delivery did not meet my expectations. They delivered the tent 2 hours after it was scheduled to be delivered (which is fine because things happen), but then they forgot to bring a part of my order (the lights). They brought the other part of my order 3-4 hours later. Also I was under the impression that the delivery and set up fee would cover for everything to be set up- the chairs and tables were not included- so just something to keep in mind! Finally, it started raining that day and I wanted to put the sidewalls of the tent down on the 2 sides that were open. But, they didn't leave us with those so it ended up pouring on the inside of those tables too. At the end, we stacked up the chairs and tables, and they came to pick it up. read more
