While I did not have a problem waiting, it did feel cumbersome in a cramped area for my order. Nevertheless, the ambiance of exploring around the establishment did not have an issue with me, especially as I got to see the delicacies from the cookies to the marzipan. As for the Maple Ham Hero, the appropriate wait time matched the quality of the food. The organization of the food shows that the staff care about their ingredients. They make it clear on their website that most of their partners provided locally sourced ingredients. If that is true, then this establishment deserves more attention, and I can see how Italian restaurants would rely on this deli for their ingredients. There used to be a barbecue place in this little plaza that is no longer there, so I stopped in Tenth and Willow for a sandwich. I never tried this place before. I had a tuna wrap (spinach wrap). The tuna was flavorful. My only issue was the spinach wrap. It took a little effort to bite through so I don't know if that means it wasn't as fresh. They had some other things I would like to try and will. As for the wrap, I would just call it a one off. read more

I just stopped in here with my toddler. I stood there for about 10 minutes getting completely ignored by the guy behind the counter after 10 minutes. They kindly asked him where I can place my order since it seemed like I was being completely ignored. He told me to just give him one minute, so I did. I gave him actually more than one minute. He went ahead and helped someone who walked in right after me and took his order instead and continued to ignore me. This is horrible customer service. I don't know what is wrong with this guy behind the counter, but he clearly has a problem with women. He should be fired immediately and go and check your cameras if the owner is reading this. This establishment is nothing like a true italian delicatessen, vodka chicken parm sucked. Good soups. Good meats, good frozen goods.

We have been stopping here now for the past six months, have tried their meat as well as various deli items and everything has been delicious to say the least. It has become our go to spot for steaks which we usually do at home on a gas grill. We ordered take out a few nights ago but I never set foot in the establishment. I did not go there so I'm reviewing 10th & Willow solely on the food. My wife picked it up. I'm usually leery of only one review (it was 5 star) but because it was close and Farmingdale is in dire need of a good Italian deli, we gave it a try. My criteria for subs is pretty stiff; I'm picky. Too often you get them drenched in oil and vinegar and the bread becomes a wet sponge. Other times or even simultaneously its overloaded with oregano and that becomes the primary flavor. I'm also critical of places that use wonder bread baked in the shape of Italian bread. You will find none of the above here at 10th & Willow. The bread is really crusty and fresh. This is an absolute necessity if you want a quality sub, in my book. The ingredients were plentiful and very fresh. Lastly it was excellent. No reason to go elsewhere. I'm glad we found this place and will certainly be back. My first time here I was going to VA & stopped for lunch to go. I had a sub that was out of this world, fresh & delicious. Another time my daughter went to pick up food for dinner & had a problem with her debit card. The owner told her take the food & pay for it the following day. Who does that in this day & age??? Everything I saw looked absolutely delicious - they had a variety of meats, pastas, sides, desserts and other dishes. Tempted to try everything, we opted for a chicken salad wrap, a breaded eggplant sandwich and salted caramel biscotti. We loved everything! It's impossible to have just one biscotti because they're that good. The bread on my sandwich was fresh, and the breaded eggplant wasn't too oily. The staff is super friendly. First timer today and I was somewhat impressed. I order the Store Baked Roast beef panini, which was Roast Beef Melted Cheddar Cheese, Carmelized Onions, Horseradish Mayo. The sandwich could have been better. The cheddar cheese was almost paper thin, and barely melted on the panini press. After reading it on the menu I had high hopes of it being a hot sandwich, with a decent amount of cheddar and onions. Instead it was cold roast beef, half melted cheddar and cold onions. I have been into this deli a few times and I am always greeted with a smile when I enter. They have a nice selection of prepared foods and frozen items. I enjoy cooking so I usually go in there for just some small items. The chicken salad is delicious. I usually get that for my daughter to bring for lunch in middle school. I have tried the beef barley soup which is outstanding and so flavorful. I am looking forward to trying something new each time I go in. In fact, I stopped making them at home. Nice variety of pastas, sauces, subs and prepared dishes. Their butcher meats are top quality. Had my mother's retirement party catered from tenth and willow last night. The food was very reasonably priced, free delivery, and WAS DELICIOUS. Everyone was talking about the food and it was the best "typical" catered dinner I've ever had (chicken franchise, meatballs, penne vodka, and green beans almondine).
