I've visited several other co-work spaces in the area, but many of them were too heavily impacted and did not have the peaceful surrounding I was looking for.

The owner gave a pitch about it being a "community" but the overall feel was almost the antithesis of communal interaction and friendliness. It was actually so strangely quiet and sterile that I left early. Most of the spaces are empty with some early 2000s Dell computers floating around. Free coffee and one or two oranges in an old basket. That's about it. In short, for local Carlsbad folk, I'd save the money and drive to WeWork or just head to Starbucks.
