It's rare to find a counseling practice with this combination of warmth, professionalism, and staying power. We talked through the full range of mental health services they offer, from individual therapy and counseling to support for families and couples, and what stood out most was how thoughtfully they approach each client's needs. Their longevity in the industry speaks for itself, and their long-standing recognition as a Best of Omaha winner is well earned. That kind of consistent community trust doesn't happen by accident. If you're searching for a therapist or counselor in Omaha, this is a team that truly lives up to its name. I'll be confidently referring friends and family to Compassionate Minds Therapy.

She has changed my life in countless ways. Ways that I can't even begin to describe. There are certain subjects that are so private and scary to discuss out loud, but she makes you feel comfortable and you just know you're in great hands. If you are struggling with ANYTHING, please give her a try. You will NOT regret it, that much I promise you. In addition to her brilliant and new age advise, she also has the most amazing, loyal, and handsome office/therapy dog, Buck Henry. You really can't talk about J28 Relationship Therapy without mentioning him. He is an absolute delight and I look forward to seeing him every session. And like many of her clients, he had a rough start to life and because of that, has to take one day at a time, just like we all should do. Overall, it boils down to the fact that she helped save my life; she helped ME save my life. She gave me the knowledge, tools and desire to want to save my life and to work my butt off to be happy. To all those hurting and struggling, it's OK!! It CAN get better!! Reaching out is the hardest step. But once you do that, you will NEVER regret it. You will become a better, stronger you. Everyone deserves to be happy. Joanie will work incredibly hard to make sure you reach all of your goals. -JK
