They have a section of a small shop, and a stringing machine located inside of the center. They have a little section where they sell snacks and drinks. There were two racquet ball /squash courts located in the back. The Lockeroom's were decent, except the shower room. The shower room needed updating. It looked dirty, the shower curtain was not functional. It was hard to close. The shower head hardly had water spraying out. It was awful.

So an update 1)…read moreAnother new GM. 3rd one in the last yr. This one has been denied the job several times at a couple locations. Hired in house with no tennis experience. Tennis side of the club is livid 2) Renovation to Men's wet area are 15 months in and dry sauna works, nope, closed for the 3rd time this month. New tile is cracking .... 3) New Tennis director teachs at the club and has applied 5 times and on the 6th attempt gets the job. FyI 6tennis directors in 8 yrs Members pay the same monthly dues but Members who have been around have groups taking 7 or 8 courts every week and are not required to make reservations. THEY ARE GRANDFATHERED IN, per the new GM, Micki. OTHER members are required to get up at 4:55 AM, 48 hrs in advance to "maybe" get a court.

Ed and Brian and Nick are high quality people and do a great job managing the facilities. Absolutely come to cardio tennis. It's an hour of running and skills drills and awesome music and running and did I mention the awesome music? $3 beers or white claw in the bar after playing a couple sets is a welcome rest after the heat.

There's lots of other activities spots too - baseball/softball fields, open fields for grass volleyball/football, basketball courts, playground, and walking paths. But I only care about the beach courts. The City of Scottsdale is routinely known for all the above with SRP courts- which is why they are always in high demand. #FirstWorldProblem There are 6 doubles courts with provided lines, lights, and ramadas with tables in the walkway between Courts 1&2 and Courts 3-6. Seriously, they know what they're doing here. A couple of years ago I called the Parks office to rent courts for my birthday volleyball tourney and the guy I spoke with indicated that they know they're good. If they aren't reserved, it's truly a toss up whether you can claim a court or not (even during summer). I only wish that other towns/cities could build as good courts in bulk much closer to me so the drive would be better, but a las.. I still end up at SRP weekly.
