And, I've found it quite difficult to find the right fit, to be honest. So, early on, I really struggled to find the right physician and group for my kids. And, the fact is, when you choose your child's doctor, you aren't just making that choice - you are choosing the office staff, the physical office space and location, the hours, the other group physicians, etc. We lived in Franklin years ago, when my kids were little. I have plenty of "horror" stories of the various physicians and groups we tried out then. From 2004-2008 we were in Florida, and it was even more difficult there - I never found a physician I was confident in! When moving back to Tennessee, a lot of prayer (yes! prayer) went into my search for a new pediatrician. Dr. Pinkley was the first we saw, and we've never regretted that decision. Fantastic facility (and I've been in some nasty offices!), pleasant and helpful staff, generous office hours, great nurses, and we've had good experiences with the other doctors, the few times we were unable to see Dr. Pinkley. We've used this group for 7 years now, and never looked back. We love Dr. Pinkley!

Dr. Lohse is so personable, so caring and clearly explains things - usually using visual examples. My son has had tummy issues, and they were so sympathetic, kind and knowledgeable. I could go on and on. I highly, highly recommend. The practice also has an on-call nurse available, so you can call in during business hours with any questions - fabulous for a new mama. They follow up after appointments to check on us, and make sure we're doing all right. They've given us samples of formulas, probiotics, etc...above and beyond. They also have an awesome website with a ton of FAQ's and such.

I had a medical issue that couldn't wait for my doctor office to open on Monday so went here Sunday…read moremorning. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The wait wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. My only issue was I got their name off the Care Credit website as a provider who accepts this payment only to find when I got there that they don't accept it anymore. Not sure if it's their fault for not notifying Care Credit to remove them or if they did notify and Care Credit just hadn't removed them yet. Overall a good experience and if I need urgent care again I would probably use them again even though they aren't the closest to me. Would possibly even consider going to them for primary care if they provided it.

We always have a positive experience. He never jumps to antibiotics, unless it's necessary. I never feel rushed and they are always great at answering my questions. Never seen any office run ahead, much less one of this size!!! I was beyond comfortable, feeling like they had all known me for years even though I was a first time patient. I approached the desk with my ID and insurance card but she flatly told me "you have to complete all the forms online and you did not do that..." No, I did not do that because I would rather fill out the forms with old fashioned pen and ink. When I stated that she went in the back to get the Nurse Practitioner who told me I was being 'rude and obnoxious'? Huh? I am 60 years old, I have numerous advanced educational degrees and was not feeling too great. No other clients were in the lobby. I said "I did not come here to fight with you, I just want to be seen..." She didn't care. I was told to behave better or I would be ejected from their facilities! Well, I filled out the form, gave my payment to the clerk and clicked the pen on the counter. Wrong thing to do! Apparently I clicked the pen rudely. Those 2 whispered and huddled together and I was told to leave! I have been previously to this same facility with no problems. Staff and management change? I went over the the Ascension Urgent Care on Memorial Blvd and had a very pleasant experience, which greatly improved my day. Oh, by the way, they thought I was very sweet!

One nurse took my blood pressure, about 5 minutes later about nurse came in to give me the test. She was very nice, asked a few questions.. swabbed the inside of my nose and checked the back of my throat. She said results should come back about 48 hours. I know it was already about 7:30pm when I finished. Their office closes at 8pm. The lady at the front desk did not give an invoice when I left. I give this location 3 stars for overall experience. I've been a parent for ten years, and for the last five of those years, we have Silver Hill Medical Clinic as our primary care office. Anyone who knows me or has followed me for a while knows that when I find a provider I love, I am incredibly loyal--and that I am also a very strong advocate for my children. I don't take speaking publicly about medical care lightly !!! We began seeing this practice at the start of COVID, and Dr. Sandy became my trusted primary care provider. She walked with me through two second-trimester pregnancy losses, the mental health crisis that followed, and many deeply vulnerable seasons. Over those five years, this office has seen all four of my children, including multiple visits when they were infants and toddlers. I always felt heard, remembered, and genuinely cared for by Dr. Sandy herself. Unfortunately, a recent experience with the office staff completely shattered the trust I had in this practice. When I called seeking care for my 10-month-old--who they had turned down earlier that day when my husband brought her in. (But she had been seen at this office just weeks prior). I was told they "do not see children under two" and that this has always been their policy. This policy has never once been communicated to me in five years of care, despite clear medical record proof (posted public and pinned on my personal page) that they have repeatedly seen my babies and young children. When I expressed my confusion and frustration, I was repeatedly told they had "made an exception" at her recent visit, even though this was never mentioned at the time. The staff showed no empathy, insisted the policy had always existed despite the documentation, and ultimately hung up on me. If this truly is their policy, I can respect that--but being turned away without warning, CONTRAINDICATED BY YEARS OF RECORDS, and treated with such dismissal was incredibly upsetting. What has been most painful is the complete lack of follow-up. After years of loyalty and deeply personal care, Dr. Sandy did not call, did not message me directly, and made no attempt to address what happened outside of the message you see below. I waited through the holidays, hoping to hear something. I never did. Even a brief portal message was unsigned and impersonal. Losing a provider I once loved and trusted is devastating. We will not be returning to this practice, and I can no longer recommend it--especially to families with young children. I'm sharing this with documentation so others can make informed decisions about their care.
