Dr Ma is the best quality care. She explains in common language. Dr Ma listens well and answers all my questions completely. I left with a better understanding of my disease. Unfortunately this clinic has a bad reputation even among medical professionals for being inaccessible if something goes wrong. They are like a mill, and their business model relies on scheduling more infusions and enrolling more patients versus troubleshooting complex outcomes and treatment side effects. The doctors are bizarrely unreachable, even if you find yourself in serious condition. I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone go to this clinic. read more

I went to Tennessee oncology to get a second opinion after I had 2 very complicated cancer surgeries. My first team of doctors told me I had a single tumor and I would need a 90 minute surgery and be off work a week. They were over confident and didn't do enough scans to see that my cancer had spread extensively. I was lost and didn't know who to trust when my insurance referred me to Tennessee oncology. Dr Gian took 2 minutes interviewing me to conclude that I had not had the right care and he went into action. He ordered a complete set of scans and tests and helped me find a new team of drs to help manage my now very complicated care. Dr Gian and I are both from Los Angeles. And he has a wonderful faith in God. He went far beyond his specialty and made sure I was cared for in all areas. I wish I had started here and I recommend them very highly!!! I went through radiation and chemotherapy in 2019. I am writing this review as a patient of TN Oncology and as an RN. The care I received by those in the lab was very good. I especially want to comment on Kelly in the lab who made me laugh during a horrible time where there was little to even smile about. All the nurses who administered my chemo were caring and appeared to be very knowledgeable. I don't have one negative thing to say. Dr. McDuffie was my oncologist and I am grateful for the care he gave me. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. John Zubkus for over 2 years and have never had better care from a Dr. than I have had from this man. I have rarely had to wait longer than 30 minutes for my appointments for him, he has always answered all of my questions and has told me everything about what is going on. He is a wonderful Dr. and I don't know what the other persons persons problem was but I totally disagree. Tennessee Oncology is a great place and I know of two other people that are close friends of mine that agree with me. I am sure there are more. read more

Since TN Oncology is pretty much state-wide, they have much combined knowledge. I received stellar care from my oncology team in Murfreesboro. Dr. Ma is both competent and kind. I am grateful that I could stay local to receive ALL my cancer care: chemo, hospitalizations, surgeries and radiation. I could never receive better care! read more

If you have the misfortune of having an experience with cancer either yourself or a loved one, do NOT entrust your life or that of others solely in the hands of certain oncologists of Tennessee Oncology!!!! I through doing so lost my wife of 48 years and to make matters even worse, after her passing, I could not get any plausible answers concerning the treatment she received or SHOULD HAVE received during the 15 months of treatment. Seems like when my wife passed away and the payments stopped from the insurance company, a certain physician wanted nothing more to do with me. What is even worse, his stubborn attitude was condoned by the Tennessee Health Department!!!!! Please do not make the mistake we made and rely on one facility regardless of great they say they are in the treatment of cancer...
