There seems to be a consistent communication problem when ordering, and it has resulted in repeated mistakes with my orders. Yesterday was by far the worst experience. The manager working the drive through, Mario, added extra items to my order that I did not request. When I got to the window and pointed it out, he seemed immediately irritated. Although he removed the items, the total did not change, and my card was still charged the incorrect amount. He then closed the window and would not come back until I knocked on it again. When I tried to calmly explain that the total was still wrong, I was met with a very rude attitude. I told him I wanted to return the overpriced wings but keep the rest of my order. At that point, he began speaking negatively about me in Spanish to another employee. When I responded in Spanish, letting him know I understood what he was saying, he demanded that I return all of the food, saying it was "all or nothing." As I handed the food back, I accidentally bumped the bag on the counter. His behavior escalated. He threw my credit card back at me, hitting me and then it landed somewhere inside my car. It took a while for me to actually find my card. He continued yelling and cursing in Spanish and refused to process my refund, despite having part of my order back behind the window. He also threatened to call the police. I pulled forward to allow the drive through line to continue and went inside. At that point, he was actively calling the police and misrepresenting the situation by lying to dispatch. I told the staff that they either needed to give me my food back or process my refund since they had part of the order being held behind the counter. Eventually, he refunded my money, but continued throwing insults ant me in Spanish and stating that the police were coming "to take me away". This was an extremely unprofessional and hostile experience, especially from someone in a management position.
