I took the kitty in and was treated with compassion and caring, so much so it almost felt like a funeral home making arrangements. When our 15 year old inside tabby passed we did not hesitate to use their services again. We had Dr M.G. McReynolds (who I had used back in the 00s) come for an in-home visit and she handled the transport of our baby to Heavenly Paws. We got a call from them upon her arrival that he had arrived and was being taken care of. Can't recommend them, as well as Dr McReynolds, enough.

The place was extremely clean, the staff is amazing, and the service they provide is astounding. The location is a bit strange, as it's in an office park, but the environment inside is immediately warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Don't let the initial outside looks fool you. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who has lost their beloved pet and is going through many difficult emotions. The staff will handle it gracefully and treat you with the utmost respect.

Should you ever need this service please consider the Shugart family to handle your needs. From the beginning of my loss until now I have seen how they treat their clients as family. I had text messages to me encouraging me to come to the counseling sessions and very warm messages asking if there was anything they could do further. It really felt like family was checking up and helping you versus a business taking your money and delivering a service and it's done. The counseling service and session they provided was great and needed. I got to talk to other pet parents that had to do the same things as I in giving my pet relief and I've been given some sort of peace of mind at this time seeing what others have gone through as well. My other doggie Spike passed away in 2018 and I used to Decatur location and experienced great customer service. I decided when my sweet baby Diva passed away. I would come to this location because I live closest to this one now. Again, absolutely amazing service. Shante was very nice and extremely sympathetic. She explained all the details to us and gave us our final moments with our doggie. We had her back within three hours. We also asked her to cut our babies ponytail and she did just that perfectly and put a ribbon around it. I highly recommend coming here in your time of sorrow. They will take care of your animal just like you would.

Dropped my baby off, was given a clipboard where I could make clear requests and even though it wasn't written I asked to get a clay stamp of a certain paw, which he remembered and I received a beautiful imprint in clay. I can say, though there's a lot of heartbreak right now, it was a shining light with how Eddie and the ladies who work here handled it. Not as a business transaction, but as people- who know what you're going through.
