I moved to Florida in Jan and was extremely skeptical about putting my child in daycare before he…read morecould talk. He had been at home with me for almost 2 yrs and in March I realized that he needed to be around other children. I looked into several daycares and I just didn't get that warm cuddly feeling like I did when I walked into Wileva Christian Academy. We met with the director and instantly had a great feeling about her, messaged the owner with some questions and comments and she responded within 24 hrs which was another good sign. We started our son there in April and naturally in the beginning he was scared but the staff made him feel safe and he bonded with every teacher. We met with the owner and knew she had standards and expectations set for her facility as if her child was there, which was very reassuring that our child was in good hands. He wakes up every morning so excited to be going to a place he loves, is able to express himself, build connections, grow and develop in every way. I pick him up every day after work and he never wants to leave and he gives everyone a hug before we go. The staff communicates great with me, letting me know if he's not acting like himself or not eating or napping like he usually does which shows me how in tuned they are to him. I feel like I have an extended family there and couldn't ask for anything more. There's even an app that they send me pictures on during the day of his daily activities and he's even learning another language!

Very disappointed with this establishment, on my daughters very first day they called her mother…read moresaying that our daughter was crying and that they couldn't get her to calm down so she ended up calling me to let me know because she was working and I called them immediately to see what was going on. I tried to explain that when she gets upset sometimes she makes herself throw up because she gets so emotional and they said that was what she was doing because it was nap time and she didn't want to take a nap. I tried to explain that she hadn't been in a daycare in almost a year and it would take some time to adjust and the lady rudely said with a very sassy attitude "well that's why I called to see what I could do to get her to calm down" so I asked to speak to my daughter and then she said that she didn't want me to speak to her because she was calmed down and thought she would start crying again if I spoke to her. I just didn't understand why they didn't start the conversation off with that instead of leading me to believe that she was still crying. I kind of got the vibe right then that this place wasn't going to work out. Of course I ended up picking her up right after I got off the phone with them and I figured maybe I was overreacting and give it one more chance then the next day they sent home a note saying that she was having a hard time listening. Then the day after that my daughter came home and said that the teacher hit her in the face. I didn't see a mark but Madelyn "my daughters mother" said that they were acting very weird when she came in to pick her up and that as soon as they got in the car my daughter said that the teacher hit her in the face. All night we kept asking her over and over and she kept saying the same exact thing until the end of the night she said that the teacher said it was an accident so we really didn't know what to think but we figured something happened but they obviously weren't going to say anything about it. The next day I brought her in just to see how everyone was acting and they were pretty nice as I figured they would be if anything had happened and I walked her to the section of the kids her age she had been going to and told her to listen but told her ahead of time to make sure if anything happened again to tell the teacher that she was going to tell me if they touched her in any inappropriate way and that I would call the police on them. That very day when Madelyn went to pick her up they ended up switching her teacher to another teacher and basically put her with different kids and they also tried saying that she was causing problems and they were going to kick her out of the daycare. This pretty much confirmed that something had happened and they were trying to cover themselves. I would definitely not recommend this place for your child please pick somewhere safer. They are not friendly at all or a family oriented facility like I've read in some of the other posts and they are definitely not a family oriented establishment. Someone from their establishment or friends of theirs must have made those posts to make them look good. All of this happened in not even a week and the following Monday they ended up calling me before noon and I had to pick her up again and decided not to bring her back and they made it seem as if they kicked her out and charged us for that full week.

I think they are the best or one of the best in the area. The truth is that my two children go to…read morethat daycare and so far I have not presented the slightest problem, very well prepared and educated staff, very attentive and affectionate with the children. I hope they continue like this.

Our little guy has been attending a little over a year now and I have nothing but good things to…read moresay about Carol, Charity and Austin. They are genuine people who actually care about the children's well being and education. Little background; Caiden has been is now 5 and prior to attending here, he was kicked out of 4 child care facilities for behavior since he was 3 years old. He would not use his inside voice, sit still when asked, and picked up a bad habit of biting other children, and even his teachers at one point. We were hopeless. We really thought no matter what we did to try to stop this behavior- we weren't going to be able to find a set child care program for very long without having to find another in the area that he hasn't already been banned from. Carol's been at it for over 30 years and it definitely shows! Not only has Caiden learned how to read, write, spell, do simple math, but his behavior is completely turned around. The amount of patience and energy that they put into these children really shows and I am so grateful we discovered their program when we did. They do so much with the children too! For example they had our local fire station come out with a truck and a couple firefighters to give a presentation and shoot the water out of the hose - They had a REAL butterfly garden showing the stages of life from caterpillar to butterfly- They have had plenty of farm animals as guests for education and of course the cute factor. That's only a few. If you're looking for a place that feels like home to your child-THIS IS IT. Now our little man is completely ready for kindergarten and is able to keep a few friends from this experience. We thank you for that and are forever grateful.

I used this service about 20 times for babysitting needs. The app lets you choose from a list of providers to send the job to but that doesn't mean you're going to get any of those sitters, in fact I never once got any of the sitters I chose from. That being said, we had one woman who repeatedly babysat for us and things seemed fine with her the first 6 times or so. Then one day my 11 year old tells me he and his little sister (3 year old) were left in the toy are of target for half an hour alone. Being that kids don't have the greatest sense of time I asked how he was sure it was that long, he stated there was a clock on the wall that he looked at. I asked if the sitter said anything when she left or came back and he said she acted like nothing happened and just asked why his sister was upset (she was getting restless and hungry and my son was doing his best to make sure they stayed in the same spot). He doesn't have a phone so no way to reach the sitter or anyone in this situation. I checked with the store and they reviewed the tape and confirmed the timeframe. Aside from this incident the sitter was late twice, which as I mentioned to the company that normally I wouldn't even bring up but when you pair that with the target incident and other things, it paints an overall poor picture of the services. Another sitter we had (that I had not met before, remember the send you whoever is available and you may not even get to speak to the person before they show up, as was the case with this young woman), let the kids play in the rain on a chilly day and didn't have them shower or anything afterwards. Again, in the grand scheme of things not a huge deal but that's an odd choice to make when it's your first time babysitting for someone. It's not like my kids are used to playing in the rain so this isn't something they would've asked to do normally. Just odd. Yet another time when we were due to have a new sitter she texted me at 1am to introduce herself. Overall for the price they charge it's not even close to being worth it. You're better off finding someone on Facebook and interviewing/calling references.

I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. It's really a shame. There are a few good…read moreteachers, but most of them are not qualified. My son has special needs. I was very open about that before enrolling him. He was new to our family at the time and we weren't even sure how extensive his hindrances were. I was led to believe that they were equipped to provide a positive and constructive atmosphere for ALL children no matter their circumstance. He was left alone in a bathroom long enough to lift the toilet tank lid and break it. Twice. He was suspended for this. The first time there was no incident report, this led me to believe it was, in fact, not the second time. His teacher confirmed that it was the first time. I came in to find a decorated member of the management team yelling at him as he was curled in a ball on the floor. This is not an appropriate way to treat a 3 year old or any child for that matter. He got hurt on the playground and there was no explanation about exactly what happened to him. Simply "he says his shoulder hurts". He broke his clavicle. After our trip to the er when I called to let them know he wouldn't be coming back, they said they understood and seemed to show some concern. Until the next day when we received several phone calls asking "When will you be coming in to pay for him?" No child deserves to be left alone here.

We had to place our older daughter to a new daycare when her old daycare shut down due to COVID. When this happened, our youngest was only 4 months old and we were not ready to put her into daycare yet. When our youngest turned 10 months old, we enrolled her into La Petite as well. She has been there for about 6 months now. I love how they provide all the food (breakfast, lunch, and snacks), as well as all the formula, diapers, wipes, etc for the younger children. It's all included in your tuition; which I find to be the cheapest around for all that you are getting with tuition. They also accept ELC which is a huge plus since both my girls get ELC. My oldest is always happy to come home from school and loves all her teachers & friends. I could tell a huge difference from her old preschool to this preschool. My oldest told me how her old teachers from her old preschool weren't always nice to her, but these teachers here at La Petite have always been nice to her. During COVID, they take everyone's temperature at the door, they all wear masks, and no one is allowed in the building (unless paying your tuition at the front desk with a mask on). I know my oldest would tell me if she did not like it here & that has not been the case! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Five stars all the way!!!!

Anyway to start First day I picked my son up and he was still in a nighttime diaper we put on him in the morning before dropping him off .. sopping wet and full/ leaking. We let this go because we understand he is almost 3 and they had him the room where all kids were potty trained the teacher was not informed by Mrs Abby that he was in a diaper. The last straw my wife came early to pick our son up and he was MISSING after 15 min of looking he finally came out of a back room ! They refuse to show us ANY proof after the whole place is covered in cameras she would however send us videos of our son playing 30 min before he went missing. This happen on 3/22/24. We are only posting this because they have not giving us video evidence as promised and we WARN you to please don't take your child here and if you do find other means. This place is very affordable which should have been the first sign but that's not worth the health and wellness of your child. Our son started that Monday and was taken out by the end of the week. Please make other arrangements and don't do business with this place who stands behind being "Christian" but are really deceivers and untruthful people.
