I did not want a toxic mattress and as soon as I saw other yelp reviews for this place, I figured what harm could there be in me checking it out. While I wasn't able to go home with a mattress today due to finances, this is absolutely where I would get one hands-down. Myself and my daughters were greeted by Bill, who was beyond friendly and easy and fun to talk to without any sales pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable about all of the mattresses and sleep accessories in the store. I have never wanted so many different mattresses! The energy and vibe in there is extremely calm, welcoming and inviting. I did walk away with a 100% natural latex pillow that I'm excited about for the time being. I really can't wait until I am able to afford the mattress I want from The Sleep Shop. Such a special place.

She told me how my body was positioned on each one (how my hips, shoulders, and lower back were in contact or not with the mattress) which confirmed the type of mattress I felt was best suited for me and my sleeping style. A) the adjustable bed frames can be found for HALF the price or less than they sell them for. Check Sam's Club for the exact same ones. B) If you can't pay cash or FOR SURE can't pay off the purchase within 3 months do not, I repeat DO NOT buy anything. The financing company will DOUBLE what you owe otherwise. This was never conveyed to us before we made our purchase. We are now forced to pay over $7k for a mattress and bed frame. SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. It's not a traditional financing option where you pay interest on your purchase - they immediately double what you owe if not payed off within 30 days. We are one payment after our 3 months and went from owing $3400 to $5700 (which is an early payment option for the $7k total we officially owe). I went to go pay off the remaining $1300 I thought was owed today and viola - this is the information I got. This is a completely unethical business practice. How could a person in good conscience not explain these details? How could a company saying they are "discount" retailers set people up to get robbed? If I could go back I would return everything and I wish I had never set foot into this store. This is a HUGE financial impact for anyone and I can't believe this is happening to us. They were doing approximately 1,900 square feet of LVP, which now raised the price by &2,850... Said their guy was not trained properly... Their carpet crew came out to measure for the 2 bedrooms we needed done, and we ended up with nearly 210sf of extra carpet... Love the rest of the store, but no longer using them for flooring... Caveat Emptor! Fantastic people in appliances and furnishings!
