First, the staff behind the front desk, and all the technicians are absolutely WONDERFUL! But.... a short time ago it went to walk-in X-rays, rather than being able to schedule an appointment. This makes getting an X-ray stressful, never sure if it can be done or not. I've talked to many who have quit going for this very reason, many having to go back 2-3 times until they can get their Doctor-ordered imaging. I can see the desk staff has to deal with irate patients, no fault of their own, and they do it with dignity and grace. This should not be part of their job description. As a patient, the peace of mind of a schedule time for imaging is priceless. I'm not sure who's brilliant idea this was to make this change, but it is affecting both patients and staff (from my observation) and I'm sure ultimately affecting the business, because not being able to schedule X-rays leaves a bad experience. Also, there needs to be a full-time person to answer the phone so the desk staff can do what they do so well, and patients can actually get through to the office. read more

Second time I have gone here for MRI in 3 years and now both times they have not sent my MRI disc to the doctor I gave them the information to send it. My DR is 3 hours away and the first time they said they sent it and I drove the three hours only to find out they had only sent the report not the disc. This time I called my doctor and ask if they had the disc and they told me they only had the report. My Dr office called then and requested the disc and lucky for me this time was a video call and he tells me they still have not received the disc and that I will have to make the 3 hour drive with my copy of it to review it and set an appointment for surgery if it needs that. They seem to be very unprofessional and no concern for their patient's care or time. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will be using Radiology Diag Center from now on. John Shaw read more

Ok so since Tenant Health bought TI. They have gutted office staff. There is no one answering phones. This has gone on for months. If you need an appointment you just go in and make it. They also only do X-rays now by appointment so if you break a bone or might have pneumonia you cannot get an X-ray until at least a week later. Go to the hospital instead. My doctor is as frustrated as I am and he has heard that Radiology Assoc is even worse. Hire the office staff and run this business properly. This is not acceptable Imaging staff at TI and the few office staff remaining are great. They just need to staff the office fully and start answering the phone. Finally, got through and waited on hold for 9 minutes, only to be disconnected by a crabby phone telephone receptionist. They refused to take the AETNA card for Medicare. They forced us to pay full amount out of pocket. We contacted AETNA, they said they should have done the copay payment. We where going there for over 20 year and the service was good, however since the Adventist took over service and honesty disappeared. We will never go there again. read more

Before Templeton Imagin merged, they were wonderful. since and since Covid they are awful. I can never get through on the phone, they do not call you to schedule when a referral comes in, like they used to. the staff are great, but the management is obviously the problem of they can't schedule one one to answer the phones. SO FRUSTRATED with this company. We are under staffed at my place of work, but we always open the doors on time and answer the phones. Sorry to say, they've lost a 25 year patient. read more

The receptionist and Tia were amazing, kind and thoughtful. However the main man in charge was not very accommodating or kind, to say the least. I have anxiety for an MRI, the sounds and the small space. He didn't seem to care, and was not able to connect my own personal calming music to his system. I asked for anything instrumental or calming. The music he played was literally 'highway to hell' and other rowdy 80's music which only served to increase my anxiety. In addition there seemed to be no air conditioning and it was almost suffocatingly hot in the machine. I was told in advance that the I could be in the machine for 45 minutes which had me scared, and it turns out it is only a 15 minute procedure. Hopefully someone will see this, and update the way that people are treated. Already anxious enough in getting an MRI and the potential diagnosis. O yea, also, they were not clear about what I actually needed, ie contrast or no contrast, and could not find my paperwork that I had just filled out that included that information. As a result, I might have to take the test again. read more

If you get the recording that says that they are too busy to help you, then you automatically get disconnected!!! I called them ALL day today and got through 3 times and was disconnected by the person on the other end! You guys suck!!! read more

I'm not sure what is going on at this location, and I want to say first and foremost: The front staff are great and doing their best with what seems to be a frustrating situation. I'm hoping someone in Tenet reads this and finds a better system for N.County. I was trying to get xrays completed for my mom, who is handicapped. It's a decent drive into town and getting her in the car and to any medical appointment is quite an ordeal. (I also have two young kids in tow usually.) First visit we arrive at 4:03pm and learn by a handwritten sign that their xray hours that day are until 4pm, not 5pm. Ok. I speak with the staff and they confirm there are no appointments left for the day, and that we can try again another day. Visit two I call the morning of. Am told that xrays will be available from 1:30-4pm and to get there when they open. We get there a few mins after 1:30p to a full waiting room. I had work at 4:30pm and had a hard cutoff at 3:20pm to have enough time to get Mom home, ready for work, and drive time to work. We sit there for 90 mins. We then learn by overhearing that the staff tell people to arrive 30-40 mins before the start time so they can be seen quickly at 1:30pm - which explains why the waiting room was already so fill at 1:30p. Sigh. I would have gladly been there earlier had the phone agent said that. At 3:08pm we get called back, and I'm hopeful- but then learn there's two more people still ahead of us that we have to wait for and she said we'd likely NOT be done by 3:20pm. So another trip was wasted and I was about in tears. It is NOT easy to get Mom to appointments, plus it's a 25 min trip one way. The next day we arrive extra early as directed, and are #3 on the list....but they have a technician fixing the xray of course. If it's ready at 1:30pm they'll call me (I left Mom in the car when I checked in). At 1:40pm I get notified - xray will be down until at least 3pm. Honestly, I was not convinced sitting there another 90 minutes guaranteed anything and I had a cranky old lady and two kids in a car. I passed. I don't know what the issue is, but something should be fixed. Three unsuccessful trips. Patients being told different things via phone or in-person. I'm guessing they are short staffed xray techs and maybe they need to invest in better equipment (?) but I saw many patients really frustrated during these three trips, and I don't think we were the only ones there more than once and unsuccessful. It would also be nice if one or two days a week there were appointments available - even if only for a small window. Having a handicapped parent and working, it's nice to not wait an unknown period. It's hard on my Mom. I've been to Templeton Imaging many times over the years although not for an xray and this has been very frustrating. I hope they can figure it out. The front staff was kind and patient and this review is not reflective of my experience with them. The problem seems larger than them for sure. I hope management really takes a step back and asks the front office for feedback and figure this out! Same company, but we ended up getting seen at Selma in SLO as we had another appointment in SLO that day. They also don't typically do appointments but made an exception and it all went pretty smoothly. At this point, it's worth the drive to go there... At least we got the damn xray done. read more

It used to be the best quality care. Now, no one answers the phone (unless you are a doctor's office) they create copays that do not exist in your plan and force you to pay it prior to care...once you are there, people are pleasant. It's impossible to get a hold of this office by phone. I have a doctor's order for an xray, but I have called 7 times today to make an appointment. The recording says to call back. It doesn't give an option to leave a message for a call back. The last time I was due for a mammogram and couldn't get through to make an appointment. They will not take messages for callbacks; you can't schedule an appointment on the phone until you reach them. And all their lines are busy I guess since I get the recording stating such. YOUR CALL CENTER IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!! So incredibly rude, awful to deal with. Waiting for hours and hours to get through. They hang up on you, don't listen, put you on hold for an hour or more. You'll be speaking with someone and they'll randomly just decide they don't want to talk to you and put you back on hold. This business' communication has been in sharp decline for several years now and is worse than ever. The last appointment I made, I literally had to walk in to make. And to no surprise there were a bunch of others in there making appointments too who couldn't call and get one. Doctors offices literally tell you you have to walk in to make any appointment. Why can't you stop being a garbage corporate company and care about your patients enough to answer calls and schedule appointments? Because you don't care. Or at least get a better call center. Tough review to rate. Why? Although from the office staff to technician the service was fine. But like many others, the wait of an hour plus is just not acceptable!!! Since appointments for x-rays can't be made it's a crap shoot when to go. The waiting is crowded, so much for trying to still keep a distance from others and then they overflow to the outside. Time to find a different facility. Update: Needed an MRI which requires an appointment. I was able to get in the next day and was called back only two minutes after my scheduled appointment time!! It took several days of calling to get an appointment since they rarely answer the phone and there is no way to leave a message. Once there, I was in the MRI, they pulled me out to say it was not working. They said this has been happening for some time, yet they had not contacted me to reschedule for when the machine was fixed. I was told they would contact me to reschedule, but they never have. I wasted a half a day, and another month without a diagnosis, and was left hanging and will now have to reschedule somewhere else. I strongly suggest avoiding this business. read more

Had a order for a chest x-ray made an appointment at this establishment. Next thing I know they call me and cancel out the appointment for a future date I asked as to why and was advised that they were short on staffing. I advise the person that this was not assisting me in my effort to have a chest x-ray and that I would go to their competitor upon hearing this the person on the phone stated fine,...we will just close your ccount with this establishment went to the competitor and was able to schedule appointment in 2 days. Templeton Imaging is not doing a very well job it may be that they may soon be going out of business would not utilize this establishment for any future x-rays. read more

I tried paying my bill online IMPOSSIBLE, I tried calling the billing department IMPOSSIBLE TO GET THROUGH. This used to be a highly efficient and user friendly facility. I called the associated number for Tenet Health services and got the radiology Dept at Twin Cities Hospital. They told me to walk in and schedule an appointment because they were so busy. Before I could ask anything else she hung up on me. My work comp provider won't let me use Radiology Associates which has always given me outstanding service so I guess I'm stuck going to SLO. read more

there is no option for NO stars....absolutely unprofessional practices. I have gone to the facility 3 times in a weeks period. Because they do not schedule X-ray's and use a " walk-in" style format you are subject to an extremely long wait time. My first two visits I was told wait times were over an hour. On my 3rd visit( yesterday) I was told 30-40 minutes. I explained I had another appointment in an hour but if that timeframe was true, this should all be good. I sat and waited while they slowly pulled people into the back. I watched an elderly gentlemen show up with his aid and son, who stated he had called and was promised he wouldn't wait long ( they waited). Then we all watch as a woman, who apparently knew the receptionist came in. There is absolutely NO privacy as clients explain the reason and needs for their visit, so we all heard she was there for an X-ray ( and then needed to go get blood work). There was also a young child ( who had to hurry for some sort of practice). So, after 45 minutes, when they had taken the child first (kinda of ok but she was old enough to know you have to wait your turn)and then they called the " friend back", both the aid ( of the elderly gentleman) and I looked at each other. She stated " oh that's just not right". I walked up to the receptionist telling her I had to leave, she told me she didn't remember who I was and why. When I explained having watched literally everyone ( except that poor old gentleman ) go in before me, she got snotty and told me " people are here for different modalities". Well, being in medicine for over 35 years I completely understand that, but don't lie! It was CLEAR that the child and then your friend went in for testing first. If anyone deserved a preference it should have been the elderly frail man. shame on you! if you had told me at the beinging the wait would be over an hour, I would have happily left ( just had I done on my other visits) and returned another day. Your facility needs to understand the importance of the patient, as without us, you have no business. compassion,professionalism, honesty and integrity are all requirements of a excellent business model. I saw none of these pillars of excellence. I will drive to another town before I ever utilize your services again. read more

Scheduling my appointment took just a couple of minutes. They were very cooperative. When I arrived for my ultrasound, I was greeted very quickly. Everything went very smoothly. Great friendly service and the lab technician was also very nice. She did everything quickly and explained everything along the way.
