I had the burger with jalapeno pimento cheese and grilled onions. It was a very unique combination that I had never had and I must say it was absolutely delicious! I highly encourage anyone looking for a great lunch to seek them out and hit them up. Great food and friendly people. And for those that want to know. They told me they are at the convenience store parking lot next to the hospital on Hwy 70 on Thursdays from 10:30 till 1pm and in the Tractor Supply parking lot on Fridays. I would assume the same time as the Thursday schedule.

I really don't enjoy writing this but I'm hoping the owner will give this thought…read more I absolutely loved this place when they first opened. I was a regular customer and was always grateful to send friends here. The past few times I have come in have not been good and I don't plan on coming back. Unfriendly service Food is not good Food never comes the way described on the menu Things on the menu are not included and what is included in the food is not on the menu Everything is over salted The garlic sauce is just gross ranch dressing It takes forever for the food then it's not worth the money spent I'm really disappointed because there aren't many restaurants here that have international cuisine that offers authentic flavors. I love trying different international dishes that are authentic instead of made for the pallet of picky eaters.

Our first time here, it was a mixed experience. The food was delicious. We did not get what we…read moreordered even though what we got was as I said very delicious. So, what the employee thought we ordered and he made was considerably more expensive than what we in fact wanted. There was obviously a breakdown in communication due to language. That one thing kept this from being a likely stellar review.

We called ahead before coming because I have a gluten allergy and wanted to make sure there were…read moresafe options for me. We were told over the phone that the ramen was gluten-free as long as it was made with the rice noodles. Based on that information, we drove over with our family, including a very hungry child. After we were seated, I told our waitress that I was gluten-free and that we had called ahead about the menu. Instead of letting us know right away that there was an issue, she went to speak with the manager, and we spent about 10 minutes looking over the menu and deciding what to order. When the manager finally came to our table, she told us they actually did not have any gluten-free options. I explained that we had specifically called ahead and were told the ramen was gluten-free with rice noodles. She clarified that only the plain rice noodles themselves were gluten-free--not the ramen or broth. That is very different from what we were told over the phone. I then asked whether I could order a poke bowl with white or brown rice. She said the rice was not gluten-free because it was prepared with sugar and vinegar. Since sugar and vinegar are typically gluten-free ingredients, I asked for clarification, but she simply repeated that she does not make any of the rice gluten-free and was unwilling to help identify anything on the menu that I could safely eat. I do appreciate that she refused to serve me something if she believed it wasn't safe. As someone with a gluten allergy, I'd much rather be told "no" than end up having an allergic reaction. However, the entire situation could have been avoided if we had been given accurate information over the phone or if we had been informed immediately after being seated instead of waiting while we looked through the menu. The biggest frustration was the wasted trip and wasted time. We drove over specifically because we were told there were gluten-free options, only to leave hungry with our family after sitting there with a hungry child. Better staff training and clearer communication about gluten-free options would go a long way in preventing this from happening to someone else.

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon and had pints of the Special Kind of Evil, a hoppy IPA style pour and the All Hallows Ale, a riff on a porter. Porters aren't my thing but this was really good with all sorts of spice - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, etc. The IPA was a nice balance between a regular one on the hoppy side and a more Imperial style - ABV landed between 6 and 7%. The atmosphere here is just something special - it reminds me more of an English pub, where friends hang out together every day to catch up and fraternize with their neighbors. And the service is both knowledgeable and generally friendly, emphasis on genuine. Oh and their merch! Not your normal merch! A lot of it is handcrafted - really nicely done leather items, hand crafted. I really wish I could pick this place up and take it home with me to Ohio! Very unique and look forward to a return visit on our next trip to Tennessee. As the sign says: "Brewed Free of the Tyranny of Stylistic Oppression" Live on Calfkiller!
