This Ingles sits just off of 59 in Trenton and seems to be the anchor of this exit. While grocery…read morestores are not normally on my itinerary on road trips, I made the pit stop into this Ingles for a potty break due to the neighboring gas station not having facilities available...and since I was already there, I did a bit of browsing and shopping. The store, like most Ingles, is a bit dated and worn. The brand is not known for shiny new and updates stores, so this location is definitely "classic". Since I was traveling, I stayed in the interior aisles and picked up a few snacks and staples that I needed, saved me a trip closer to home. I will say that Ingles is a bit pricey compared to other grocery stores, surprisingly so on majority of the items I scoped, fresh food and all. Check out was okay. The cashier was nice, but not "friendly" or engaging. I get it is a transaction, and it definitely felt just as such. Overall, I get the need and dependence on this location for the local community. Good spot for groceries, just a bit high on prices and service could use some tweaks.

My fiancé and I recently moved to Trenton so he could attend the Lineman school here. Since moving, we've been adjusting to living on one income and it's been financially challenging due to the amount of time it took me to find a job. When we got to the register, we realized we were $1.23 short. It may not seem like much, but in that moment it felt incredibly heavy. As we were trying to decide what to put back, our cashier Jacob quietly walked around the register and paid the difference himself without hesitation. He didn't make a big scene or make us feel embarrassed -- he simply chose kindness. That small act meant more to us than he probably realizes. After months of stress and uncertainty, the Lord really reminded us that there are still genuinely good people in this world. Jacob, thank you for your compassion and generosity. You made a difference for us that night. Ingles is lucky to have someone like you on their team -- he absolutely deserves recognition and a raise!

Such a cute little grocery store. They employees are all extremely friendly. I had asked an…read moreemployee for help and she went above and beyond to the aisle and helped me find the item! We found everything we needed plus extras. We found everything to make strawberry cobbler. There was fruits, veggies, everything you could think of but I was also small and quaint, and a very good store. There's a lot of it stores nearby, as well as in a good location. Very clean and well maintained store!

Second year in a row making Ingle's in Robbinsville OUR grocery store of choice. Legal Department:…read more"you can't say that. Facts must dictate you say it's the only grocery store in town". OK, there's a Dollar General too but maybe that doesn't count. Shut up suits! The big breaking news versus last year is Graham County, North Carolina has become wet AKA beer and wine are sold. No hard stuff (liquor stores) as of yet; hey it's progress and I'll take not having to buy my booze 40 miles away. We head here because of a car club event featuring one road but truthfully all the roads out here are incredible. I took a detour there; back to the groceries. Ingle's is still stuck in the past but in the best way. Real Cashiers!!! Yes, since last year a small self check out area has been added and that's ok. I find it particularly funny to walk around and see all the canned stuff we never see in Texas. Yet, there are Texas based products on the shelf too. Just saw some Stubbs BBQ sauce! On the other hand some strange stuff too. What looked like a pork product stuffed into a rotisserie chicken container. Mind you this "product" could only visually be described as maybe a roasted hoof? Bone knuckle? ' Other things are comical if you know a little retail. Featured areas are the shelves in front of the store opposite the registers...Imagine canned sausage gravy...who features that???? Do I pour it over the hoof knuckle thing for a local delicacy? Biggest reason for the 4 star nod is the friendly employees and they actually had my favorite beer cold in the cooler!!!!! Icehouse in cans and bottles!!!! OMG, this is progress for Robbinsville, NC. Now, bring in a liquor store and a strip club!

I saw that there was a Publix in Pigeon Forge and knew that's where we'd need to go to get our picnic supplies! Because we had flown in (and didn't have picnic basket on our pack list), I knew that we needed to get a small cooler to keep our drinks and sandwiches cool on the warm spring day. Fortunately, Publix had a nice variety of small lunch box size coolers and we found one for a reasonable price that was perfect for what we needed and would collapse down for easy packing to bring it home. We then made our way to the deli and got fresh, deli made sandwiches made with boar's head meats and cheeses. They're fully customizable and we very much enjoyed them! We were also able to grab some fruit, pretzel crisps, boar's head hummus, and bottled beverages to round out our picnic. Everything was great, prices were reasonable, and we enjoyed a beautiful picnic in this beautiful area. One note would be that the deli does get busy. We were there in the ease of spring (ie: no big National Park crowds) and we still had to wait in a bit of a line for our deli sandwiches. So, just something to factor into scheduling. That said, we didn't mind a bit and the sandwiches were worth the wait. Get to it!

I went on the recommendation of some family that was also vacationing in the area and was definitely pleased with how well kept it was, and how even with a crowd everything was clean and neat. We had some of their baked goods, which were fantastic as well. Will definitely go again when I'm up in this area!
