Even though it's a bit modern, my in-laws (that are a bit older and have a harder time with technology) are still able use the app to pick up my daughter and enjoy the occasional pictures and videos that are sent through there. My daughter doesn't really take to strangers well. She did have an adjustment period but has soon blossomed in the infant classroom and loves her teachers. The teachers are caring and informative and we are so pleased with the kind of care they provide our daughter. And we know she's not the easiest baby. They have been able to help our child make huge progress with nap time and even with playing with other kids. I truly feel her personality has blossomed due to the work the infant room teachers put into our daughter. She always comes home happy from the day. The infant room itself (as well as the other rooms we toured in the facility) are also clean and does not have a smell. We toured other facilities where the smell was so strong it stayed with me the rest of the day and was actually one of the deciding factors in choosing CCs. My daughter also has an egg and milk allergy. They assigned high chair specifically for her and are always on the look out for any reactions from food. She recently outgrew her milk allergy but not the egg. During the recent mother's day Muffins with Mom's event, they provided a special vegan muffin for her so she can enjoy the event with me. The teacher running the event wasn't my daughter's regular teacher, but she recognized my daughter anyway and knew to offer me the vegan muffin. I was so touched by this gesture. We haven't had experience with the older classrooms, but have toured them and are rest assured my daughter will grow up well cared for and well educated here at CCs. We are excited for her to learn and grow here. We are so pleased with our experience that we've already reserved our spot for our next baby due in a few months. We highly recommend this daycare center and will recommend it to anyone look for care in the area.

There are plenty of hands-on learning materials that are age appropriate from 2 years old in preschool to 7 years old in K-1. The kids are able to learn at their own pace and enjoy an environment of collaborative play and learning. Every child of mine who entered preschool had their initial episodes of tears and crying in the first few months. But the teachers at Montessori of Brea are so kind with their loving voices, gentle nudges, and guided redirection to help the children focus on their learning and forget about the separation from parents. Ms. Kim was our preschool teacher for our first 2 daughters and is currently teaching our 3 year old. Our whole family LOVES Ms. Kim! When my two older grade school kids come to pick up our baby, they ALWAYS have to come to give Ms. Kim a hug! She is caring, loving, and has great communication with parents at drop off and/or pick up. There are a total of 4 teachers for the classroom, but I'm amazed at Ms. Kim's organization and memory having to be the primary teacher of 28+ kids and knowing each child's ability. I can barely handle remembering my 3! Ms. Dana was our most recent K-1 teacher and she is just as great! Her lessons helped prepare my daughter for school outside of Montessori. Her open communication and constant use of technology helped prepare us for future apps used in grade school. Ms. Dana was very active in providing updates, even sending pictures to all the class parents of special events and personal messages for individual achievements! With the help of ALL the teachers at Montessori of Brea, our oldest daughter got into GATE (Gifted & Talented Education) and is excelling. Our second daughter is reading three grade levels above her current grade and is thriving at her new school thanks to the teachers and Montessori of Brea. I can only give my highest recommendation for this place! Three of my children graduated from MoB, with my youngest being the most recent graduate. They were under the exceptional guidance of Ms. Tess (lead teacher and also a music scholar), Ms. Padmini, Ms. Cindy, Ms. Dana, Mr. Vargas, and Ms. Nayna. We are so grateful for their contribution to our children's development. Every one my kids graduated from MoB with high-level reading and math skills, a love for science, strong musical knowledge, a love and respect for nature and the Earth, as well as high self-confidence and independence. My oldest children, now 12 and 10, are in GATE (Gifted and Talented Education program) in the public school system, and continue to excel. She works graveyard and needed a place for her little one to be taken care of during the day while she got some rest. She saw Love & Care Montessori and asked me to check it out for her along with several other locations because she didn't have the time due to her schedule. I called and made an appointment with the owner, Yael, whom was very nice and gave me a tour of everything. So for those of you out there here is my review: 1) First thoughts: When I walked in, all I can say is that my inner child came to life! I mean I looked around and there is litterally every toy immaginable. From small cars to dinosaurs to even puzzles and games, this place had everything. I kind of wish I had a place like this for my childhood years. Yael went on to explain that she teaches on montessori methods as she gave me a tour of the house. 2) Layout: What I thought was most impressive was how every room was organized and how each room served it's own purpose. Even more astounding, the play areas in both the back and front yards were extensive, with slides and play houses and little cars to ride around, I thought to myself, if I had a kid I would want him/her to come here. They even had an enclosed trampoline in the back yard so that the kids could jump around and have fun while protected by the netting; how cool! Inside there are three seperate rooms. There's the play room when you first walk in, followed by the infant room, and finally the lunch room. 3) Schedule: Yael went over the daily routines of all the children from snack and lunch times to nap times and daily activities, arts and crafts and play times. All in all, everything seemed very organized and planned out in comparison to some of the other daycares I checked out. 4) Pricing: I compared the prices of the other daycares I visited and this one. For the weekly price, Love & Care Montessori had more to offer than similar daycares in the area for around the same weekly rate, give or take $10. 5) Atmosphere: What I really enjoyed was the homelike feel that this daycare had. It felt warm and inviting from start to finish. I think mostly in part by Yael. My first thoughts on her is that she had a lot of energy and a fun loving personality. Compared to the other dayares that I visited only one other one had a similar feeling when you walk right in. I felt that if I had a child I would be comfortable leaving him/her at this daycare for prolonged periods of time. Final thoughts: There are many daycares out there. Out of all the daycares I have visited, I thoroughly enjoyed all the things Love & Care Montessori and owner Yael had to offer. I am definitely recommending this place to my friend Steph and I recommend this to all of you as well who are reading my review. It might not be for everyone, but I encourage you to check it out.

I want to start by saying how much I loved Ms. Rolon and Mrs. Calabrese. They were always so welcoming and genuine. My daughter started in July, feeling confident this was the right fit. However, that quickly changed. My daughter's teacher (who I will leave unnamed) right off the bat, my husband and I felt didn't like my daughter, and my daughter felt it. High-strung energy and frantic energy are not good for young ones who are nervous to start. Not welcoming, and immediately made her out to be a "BAD" kid. I think it ruined her first preschool experience. Backing up, my daughter was born 4 months before the pandemic broke out and had never been in daycare or school, which was explained when we enrolled her. I was very transparent about everything when touring and signing up. Mrs. Calabrese, who gave us a tour, and who sold us. She was absolutely wonderful & genuine. Mrs. Calabrese left shortly after my daughter started so we relied on some of the staff and teachers. Which didn't provide us with much comfort. I strongly believe if your child doesn't fit the mold of their concept of a perfect child, there will be red flags that they will not welcome you back, soon. Not every child is the same and they did nothing to help with my daughter's social integration troubles. Which by the way, is completely normal and even more so since she is a Covid baby. More and more I researched and spoke to other preschools, Covid babies are showing delays since the world stopped for 2 years. I am not making excuses for my child and will be the first one to admit she is strong-willed and determined. Those attributes are wonderful if channeled the right way. This school is not for your child if your child shows any type of out-of-the-mold behavior. The classroom was absolute chaos, my daughter's diaper was always dirty picking her up, the wrong clothing was sent home often, and never once did I hear anything positive about my daughter doing well. Furthermore, we got a week's notice that she wasn't welcome back the next month, we were told we should keep an eye on some behaviors & get her assessed as she might have something wrong with her. Since then I have gotten 2nd, 3rd, and 4th opinions from qualified individuals, and think this is ridiculous & untrue. You have no idea, how horrible this felt, and I hope was a true intention on their end but I doubt it. What really bothered me was on her last day, we walked in to put her lunch bag away in her cubby and her name was already taken down from her cubby. It broke my heart because it proved how much they wanted her gone. Luckily, my daughter isn't old enough to understand it, but if she were older that would have been really awful to explain. Now, we have found a fabulous preschool (with the same ratio btw), and my daughter has made a full 360. The teacher is patient, loves kids, and really wants them to do well. Every child is DIFFERENT! Gabi is a cat who we read about in small cartoons. She does crazy stuff and makes that class so enjoyable. Mrs. Young is basically the same as Miss Alfaro. She's amazing! Mrs. Min always forgives no matter what. Our class is 30 students, and it is not easy to deal with us. We are very talkative. She keeps her cool and is always so nice to us. Mrs. Blain is great and always doing what needs to be done. Pastor Eric provides great Church messages getting us all closer to God. My son attended this preschool for two years. Initially, things were great when the previous…read moreadministrator was in charge, but once Ms. Amanda took over, everything started to go downhill. One of the biggest issues is the incredibly high teacher turnover. When we raised concerns about this, we were told they can't keep teachers due to low pay, which was very unsettling. My son, who is sensitive to change, had five different teachers within an eight-month period. This was far too much for a 3-year-old to handle, and it understandably affected his behavior. Instead of offering support to help him adjust, Ms. Amanda continually blamed us and labeled my son as a "problematic kid." She even told other teachers that my son might have a brain issue, which was both hurtful and completely inappropriate. After consulting with two psychologists and a pediatrician, all of them confirmed my son is perfectly normal, and they strongly recommended removing him from the school. Ms. Amanda also lied to us multiple times. She claimed that other parents were unhappy with my son attending the school, but after speaking with many of them directly, they completely denied this. She also said that teachers didn't want my son in their class, but when I talked to two of his teachers, they firmly rejected this claim. It was clear that Ms. Amanda was fabricating these stories to avoid addressing the real issues and to place blame on us instead of taking responsibility. Though there were a few wonderful teachers, like Mrs. Poei and Mrs. Yovana, the turnover rate in the 3-4 year old class and TK is alarming. Worse still, Ms. Amanda's attitude towards the children is deeply concerning. She expects complete obedience from students, likely because she struggles to manage difficult situations. Anytime a child so much as takes a toy from another, parents are required to sign a form, and this behavior is documented. This documentation was used against us when they suggested our son wasn't a good fit for the school. Also, many of the 5-star reviews for this preschool are written because parents are encouraged to leave positive reviews in exchange for a $50 discount. After leaving Pine Tree, I enrolled my son in a new school, and he is thriving. He loves his teacher, enjoys going to school, and it has become clear just how poor the experience at Pine Tree really was. If your child is active, sensitive to change, or doesn't fit a rigid mold, I would strongly advise against this school. Their rigid expectations and Ms. Amanda's harsh, untruthful, and unprofessional approach made for a terrible experience for our family
