We called to get a quote for painting the exterior of our home. Doug scheduled via text a date and…read moretime to do the estimate. On that day, he did not arrive or call. I waited 30 minutes before calling to see if something had happened. He answered and said "Oh, what's your address, I can be there in 20 minutes." He arrived 30 minutes later and gave us the quote. He took his time and wrote out exactly what we needed. His quote was thorough and seemed reasonable. The reason for my 1-star rating is because when we were ready to schedule, we called and called and no one ever answered. My husband also tried and left messages that were never returned. I know they are a busy company, but it shouldn't be that hard to schedule once a quote has been provided. Perhaps Doug needs to hire a receptionist to help with phones. We ended up going with another company and I'm so glad we did. They did a wonderful job! They were also Yelp verified and backed by a $2,500 protection by Yelp. We chose a smaller company where we had direct access to the owner and communication was never a problem. The owner was also onsite every day of the job.

I believe most people may feel somewhat apprehensive about contacting someone they haven't worked…read morewith before, especially when it involves a significant financial commitment to paint a home. There's often a moment of uncertainty until the meeting occurs and a quote is provided. Additionally, selecting the right colors can be challenging; wondering whether the chosen shade will match the sample or online representation can be frustrating. From our very first conversation, Joey put me at ease. He is genuinely kind and professional. He informed me that he would follow up within a few days with a quote, which he did, and it met my expectations. The cost was under what I had anticipated, so I responded, and he called to schedule a start date. The project was scheduled for a few weeks out, not months. My initial anxiety stemmed from this being my first time painting a house, and I was concerned about making the right choices, including the colors. Joey was very patient, answering all my questions thoroughly and offering guidance, regardless of the time I reached out to him. On the day they began power washing the house, everything went smoothly. Joey got my final decisions on colors (making one color change recommendation) and went to buy paint to start the next day. I am SO happy he changed the color of the trim because I would have hated the color I picked... Love the one he picked; it's perfect! They provided a clear plan for the upcoming work each day before leaving. The team included a very attentive young man who meticulously taped and prepped the house--everything was thoroughly covered. During the painting process, Joey regularly inspected the work and pointed out areas that needed touch-ups, which I might not have noticed myself. The attention to detail was impressive, especially when they used very fine brushes, I couldn't see it, but he did. Then the trim. Meticulous! At one point, they were using a paintbrush so fine that it seemed more suited for a canvas. I am extremely happy with the workmanship of Joey Lanza and his Team. I would recommend this company to anyone. Six Stars!! Thanks Again Guys!

We are super happy with the results, and with the cleaning, patching, prepping, and painting effort from the great team we had working on the job. Shane, in particular, was outstanding! Our thanks also to Pedro, Danny, Gina, and of course Phillip for also working through all the tasks to get the job done. We are grateful for the fine service and effort. Thank you.

This is an honest review. I attempted to be fair and even edited my review to be shorter and more…read moregenerous. Unfortunately, the owner continues his online crusade to discredit me and I'm backed into a corner to prove the legitimacy of my concerns. I've added a video showing yellowing throughout the house. This is not a moisture issue. When the work was finished caulking was not yellowed, but I found several areas throughout the house that were not caulked at all. I was also was unhappy with the gap between boards and the floor. The owner is correct when he says I signed a contract indicating that this would not be done. I was guided into this and later found out that it is not always standard practice. Nonetheless, I signed this contract and feel that it would be unfair for me to grade based upon this problem alone, hence the updated increase to my rating. When painting was finished I did voice my discontent with the way things turned out. The owner became defensive about his work. His strategy was to deflect these concerns as a me problem, rather than a workmanship problem. I can remember feeling pressured at the end of the job to agree that things were satisfactory and reluctantly paid. There was no call back to fix the yellowing because his arrogance turned me off. I did not want him back in my house. I've lived in the house for years, looking at my unsightly baseboards. Every time I walk through my hallways I'm reminded of how frustrated I am that I paid good money for this. I do not like publicly shaming a company, but in this case it's necessary. After years I finally posted a review. The bottom line is that the job is substandard. I have to have things repainted at my own expense and I'm very disappointed about it.

He took his time explaining every step and answering all my questions. The pricing was fair and his crew was ontime and very nice. Day 1 was pressure washing. Juan arrived with his employee, made sure everything was set up and communicated what time they would start the next day. They prepped and painted 4 days. All in, including pressure washing day, our house was completed in 5 days. What a difference! We had seen other neighbors' exterior paint jobs take weeks! Juan worked side by side with his team and really knows what he is doing. Many times I would pop outside to find Juan up on a ladder working hard. They carefully wrapped all our porch lights, A/C equipment, windows and doors. They put plastic down everywhere to avoid overspray. (I joked that my yard looked like Dexter had been there) Juan explained that since we get a lot of wind here, he would rather cover it all to avoid any overspray. Juan is meticulous. He sees all the little spots that I saw as the homeowner. I'm usually quite good at picking out the little spots that may have been missed, but Juan's attention to detail was better than mine. He truly cares and stands behind his work. This company guarantees quality and he did. We did a final walkthrough together and he made sure to hit everything and anything I found. They cleaned everything up, left us the remaining paint labeled and took all the trash with them. Juan and his team are very hard working and did a great job communicating with me every day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND United Premier Painting!
