Temaki Tornado is my favorite food truck - nah - hand roll spot in all of Boulder. Fish is fresh, crew is friendly and food is awesome.

Fantastic customer service and some of the best sushi rolls in Colorado. Don't pass them up.

Sadly can't recommend this place. The night I went the whole restaurant was being ran by teen boys,…read morewhich is fine. They were working really hard and trying their best, but there was no adult to assist them in the front and it was a super busy night. They were very young and there were issues that were arising that needed adult guidance. I can't even comment if the food was good or not because I left before I got it. The first time my tacos came out it was only half of the order and there was a large, super moldy lime on my taco. I told the young boy and he was very polite about it took it back to the kitchen, but then a few seconds later just brought the same tacos out. I told him I didn't want the same food and wanted it fresh, that might be dramatic for most but for me with an immune disorder i can't risk it. I waited for a while, but I was turned off enough by the whole situation that I didn't wanna eat there anymore so I just left no refund or anything. Sad, I wanted to like this place.

I got the smoked salmon sandwich, which I would say had too much cream cheese, but that could be personal preference. I think it could benefit from a topping that brought more acidity or salty flavor. It felt as if I stepped right off the boat into Scandinavia, but in Boulder. I would gladly come back, and I would be open to getting this same sandwich.

My buddy and I first heard about Grey Ducks Eats from Cellar West Artisan Ales in Longmont. We try to swing by the taproom every few months even though it's a commute from Denver. When we saw the truck would be setting up shop on Friday, we made the last minute decision to jump in the car and check it out. These guys use local, high quality ingredients, which is paired with an homage to old country cooking techniques. The menu is small, but packed with goodies and the occasional special. +Roast Beef - ($10) Smoked Mayo, Pickles, Crispy Onions, Butter and Microgreens. I don't even remember the last time I ordered a Roast Beef Sandwich. This brought me back to my childhood, though the flavors executed were above and beyond your average sandwich. The star of the show is the Millabrød bread, which was hearty and crisp. Everything paired nicely together and you won't leave hungry! The [assumed] owners were so nice and friendly. Plus, the meal was a match made in heaven with Cellar West's delicious beer! I highly suggest tracking down Grey Duck Eats or giving them a shot when you see them pop up at a local brewery in Longmont or Boulder.

La Choza has officially become one of my favorite Mexican eateries in Boulder. As a foodie, I've…read morelearned to never judge a restaurant by its appearance, because some of the best places to eat at are either the small mom and pop restaurants or the hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I honestly much prefer these places over the fancy shmancy restaurants where the food is usually subpar at best. Originally, I was leaning towards taking our food to go, but I'm so glad we decided to dine in instead. We ordered the al pastor tacos and the torta with al pastor meat and fries--everything was so delicious and fresh. Although there are a few items on the menu that sound really appealing, I'll have to try my best not to order the same thing every time. The food is easily a 10/10. Service was great too. The woman who took our order was super friendly and helped my dining companion choose between 2 dishes. It was a toss up, but I think she helped us make the right choice for what we were craving today. I'll definitely be coming back!
