I found Mike Knows Audio thru yelp and google. I decided to ask for an estimate for a custom A/V…read moresystem for the living room and backyard. I wanted in-ceiling speakers for the living room as well as in the kitchen so the flow of sound can feel like it's seamless throughout the whole house and the backyard. First Mike asked about my budget and to be honest I didn't do a lot of research on how much custom A/V systems can cost. I'm glad he asked me so I have an idea on how much I can save to afford what I was looking for. Like all my other home projects, I went ahead and asked 2 different A/V companies on yelp for estimates just to compare what product they'll be providing and the cost of labor. None of those 2 companies asked about my budget and to find out their estimate was higher than Mikes. One of the companies did not want to cut out dry wall to install speakers and offered a Bluetooth system instead. The other company advised that I would have to hire an electrician to install electrical outlet for the outdoor tv. This made my decision easy and chose Mike to get everything I wished for. Mike and his team absolutely knocked this project out of the park. The project took about 2.5 days to cut out dry wall to install in-ceiling speakers and to connect the whole system together. Everything was professionally installed with no wires or mess to be seen. All the wires behind the tv stand are neatly organized and tucked away. The quality of sound with the product he used went beyond my expectation. I'm so excited that I can now have a small concert or night club at my house when I ever want.

Warning!! Stay far away from this very poorly run company. I paid a good amount for my security…read moresystem and was told they have a local service tech. I also pay a monthly fee for monitoring. They did not tell me that any time I use him they charge ninety-nine dollars! I have had problems with the garage door sensor for about a year and they would not fix it. Finally it quit and our alarm system went off. I called them and they sent a replacement sensor. I had to do all the work replacing that sensor. We had a lot of trouble getting that sensor to work. I thought it was fixed only to discover it wasn't working properly. This happened three days in a row. Then for no reason at all the garage sensor went off at 6:00AM waking up my wife and I. I was livid and called and talked to a support person who insisted I had to pay for the repair technician. Now they want me to do it all over again. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran and 77 years old plus a 25 year liver transplant. I never thought I would have to do all the work on this system or I would have gone with another company. Talking to a supervisor was no help. So I am going to sue them to get out of the contract. I hope this will stop others from this scam company.
