We had four other electricians look at our Generac 22KW whole house backup installation job, all four contractors told us they could only hookup the top floor OR the bottom floor, not both! Brian Morrell looked at our job and figured out how to do both! He cares about his clients and his work. He put us on the schedule, showed up on time and did a beautiful job. I would recommend him to a friend. read more

Morrell Electric - Automatic transfer switches for upper level and lower level - Electricians Near Me

Brian Morrell gave us a very competitive bid. Problems started showing up the first day as he subbed the work to another electrician. After the initial work was done I had to request multiple times for him to complete the installation of fixtures. After excuse after excuse he showed up with a guy who had never done electrical work. He had him do most of the work shouting out instructions from across the room and did not check it thoroughly. He piled excessive charges based on addition work I requested. I did not ask and he did not say there would be extra charges. I stupidly paid him for all work even though he did not give me a final invoice with provision that he would comeback and complete all items and any punch list items. I made several requests to finish the work which we agreed to a date. He did not show up. I have hired another electrician who is completing or correcting Brian errors. read more

terrible service and very racist, he said I needed some things that would have cost over 500 dollars. I found another guy who fixed it for $125 and said that the Brian was trying to rip us off. I can not recommend such a company. read more

Morrell Electric - Installed pendant lighting - Electricians Near Me

We set a appointment for Monday 4pm, 4:15 he texted to say he could not make the appointment. He asked if we could do Thursday 4pm, 4:40 no show and no contact. This guy wasted a week of my time that another company could have already done the job. I do not recommend using this company, zero reliability, and no respect for contacting the customer. I wish I could give zero stars! read more

Requested electric panel upgrade. Unfortunately, the quality of service was very unprofessional. Installed the panel upside down, with the main breaker on the bus bar, between the sub-breakers, not in the designated spot on the top or bottom of the panel. Before I hire them, Mr. Morrell promised to provide a breakdowned invoice and a official labor warranty, but after I paid him, he didn't send me the documents and didn't answer my text masses. If he provided a professional service, the value would have been reasonable, but it wasn't. read more

Morrell Electric (Brian) answered the phone, showed up on time and installed and repaired a few new outdoor sconces and switches. Brian and crew were great to work with, showed up ready to get to work. Morrell Electric was professional, problem solving, clean and exactly what I was hoping to find in an electrician. Thank you for a job well done Morrell Electric! read more

Brian put us on the schedule then rescheduled. We changed our entire schedule to accommodate him. The night before he was to show up we texted to confirm. It was only then that he said he had to reschedule and wasn't going to show. If we hadn't made contact it was obvious that he had no intention of letting us know, What a waste of our valuable time. read more

We called Morrell Electric the Friday morning before Memorial Day weekend after our originally scheduled electrical contractor cancelled at the last minute. We wanted to have ceiling fans installed into a horse barn (and a controller) and they showed up within a couple of hours!!! They were very efficient -- got the job done quickly, cleaned up after themselves, were very pleasant and everything works perfectly!! Pricing was very reasonable too. Highly recommend!! read more

Morrell Electric - Love my new pendants installed by Morrell Electric! - Electricians Near Me

I hired Morrell Electric to install a Panosonic heater in our shower area. Which he recommended. When it came time to install the exhaust vent he said he does not go on roofs, which I thought was part of the installation. He wanted to hook the vent into a existing exhaust system, which was contrary to the Panosonic instructions. I had to hire another company to install the roof vent. Morrel electric said he would come back to do the hook up to the vent. I decided after seeing the way he spliced the wires running from the heat unit to the electric panel and using a electrical box designed for wall installation and letting it hang unsecured in the basement and a breaker he installed that did not fit correctly and was very loose, and subject to arcing causing safety issues. I then lost trust and confidence in Morrell Electric. The company I hired to finish the job are the ones that recommended I change the breaker and electrical box. Prior to this job I had Morell install a new electrical box under my sink and they did a good job and their reviews were good, Because of my experience this time I cannot recommend Morrell Electric. Maybe he just had a bad day. read more

Thank you, Brian and staff, including a young son, along for observational experience. They are fast and accurate and thorough. We'll be using them again, soon. They gave us ceiling lights in the 1948 kitchen and installed the bright LED lights we bought for use in our primitively lit bathroom which had the original, mid last century, rotting florescent fixtures. We are so appreciative. Thank you again, Morrell. read more

Brian and Larry did an awesome job installing lights outdoors, today. I sent a message requesting a quote and Brian came out immediately. He did everything he promised and did it in a timely and professional manner. I am thinking that little jobs like mine are not something many companies want to do. I spent $300 and another $80 on fixtures so it's enough for me. I hope to send this company many referrals. I believe he appreciates our business as he had a sense of urgency to get it done. He came out yesterday to give me a quote and the project was complete in less than 24 hours. Everything exceeded our expectations and the price was fair. Thank you Brian and Larry read more

I had another company come to look at a proposed addition to my power to remote shop. Cost was amazingly high and the contractor really over engineered what I needed. I called Brian and he was out quickly to look at the job which he was able to do for about 20% of the other quote. I now enjoy great power in my shop. Price was good, service was good, timeliness of the work was good. You can't go wrong with Morrell Electric. I am so glad that I found them on the internet. I recommend this company. read more

Brian and team showed up when scheduled and took care of our electrical needs adding service to my future cigar lounge shed. Very conscientious about their work... I would recommend him for any electrical needs. read more

The technician was very knowledgeable. Very professional. Made sure to clean up after service.

We used Morrell to install a whole house surge protector. On the surface everything seemed fine. But 2 days after they left we discovered our dryer wasn't heating. This was the first time we had tried to use it after Morrell did their installation. We checked the breaker box and everything looked fine. At that point we ordered a new washer and dryer. While awaiting delivery of the washer and dryer we used due diligence and opened the inner cover panel on the breaker box and discovered one of the hot leads to the dryer was broken off the breaker. The electrician probably broke it while doing the installation of the surge protector since the dryer was fine before they did their work. But no one was watching him so we can't say that was for sure, even though no one else had been in the inner panel. Even so, the electrician should have noticed the lead was broken off. We reattached the lead and the dryer worked fine saving us thousands of dollars on a new laundry set. read more

Great job. Timely, consistent, professional, considerate and courteous. They're my new go-to as other locals have proven inconsistent.

These guys do an amazing job! Very polite and we are so pleased we found such a great company! I would highly recommend them!

I really wanted this company to be my go to company for all electrical needs and had a pleasant first experience however my 2nd experience wasn't so good, I took the day off to get some additional work done and was left hanging with a no show, no call, no anything. Wont be using again. read more

Great company! Reasonably priced, quality work, and great customer service. Had 4 can lights installed.

Great experience with Morrell Electric. Owner operated. I called 5 places this morning to get someone out to my house because half of my electricity was out. No one could come for several days. I called Morrell and the owner Brian answered asked me what was going on and said he would be here between 1 and 3. He showed up at 1 took 15 minutes to figure out was wrong and had everything fixed in 20 minutes. I could not be happier with the ease of doing business with him. read more

Needed 3 ceiling fans installed as well as a 240v heater in the shop. Brian was fantastic and a pleasure to work with. As one can see, there was a breakdown in communications. I would like to use Morrell Electric again, as his prices are very reasonable and his work is good. Update today 01/31/19. Brian came back and fixed everything for me, even in the rain he was outside working on my outlets along my back wall. He then checked out two outlets in the house. He is very quick, efficient and you can't beat his prices. Great service, great job! Thank you Brian. read more

Let me start this so there is no confusion, Brian is the most helpful, ethical, trustworthy professional I have ever had the chance to work with. And I've never even met him. Will he be the first person I call from here on whenever I need anything electrical ? Yes 100%. Basics are, I messed up installing 2 new Nest thermostats, Brian not only told me over the phone what I'd done wrong, then told me how to fix it, then when I got lost in the process and texted him to confirm what I should or shouldn't do, he actually called me back and walked me through over the phone what to do to fix everything. Forget about the money he saved me, I would have very happily thrown money to someone to help me at the point I was at, and the frustration I felt. He talked me through what to do, what not to do more importantly to the end result both thermostats and forced air units working again, a cool house, a happy family and a very satisfied and accomplished feeling for actually having done this. Thank you Brian, you are a true superstar and as I told him via text, he texted me btw after I had everything turned back on to make sure I was good, talk about customer service, all mid evening on a Saturday, and I wasn't even a paying customer. Brian you are the owner/operator and real life super hero of Morrell Electric. read more
