Installed the panel upside down, with the main breaker on the bus bar, between the sub-breakers, not in the designated spot on the top or bottom of the panel. Before I hire them, Mr. Morrell promised to provide a breakdowned invoice and a official labor warranty, but after I paid him, he didn't send me the documents and didn't answer my text masses. I hired Morrell Electric to install a Panosonic heater in our shower area. Which he recommended. When it came time to install the exhaust vent he said he does not go on roofs, which I thought was part of the installation. He wanted to hook the vent into a existing exhaust system, which was contrary to the Panosonic instructions. I had to hire another company to install the roof vent. Morrel electric said he would come back to do the hook up to the vent. I decided after seeing the way he spliced the wires running from the heat unit to the electric panel and using a electrical box designed for wall installation and letting it hang unsecured in the basement and a breaker he installed that did not fit correctly and was very loose, and subject to arcing causing safety issues. I then lost trust and confidence in Morrell Electric. The company I hired to finish the job are the ones that recommended I change the breaker and electrical box. Prior to this job I had Morell install a new electrical box under my sink and they did a good job and their reviews were good, Because of my experience this time I cannot recommend Morrell Electric. We wanted to have ceiling fans installed into a horse barn (and a controller) and they showed up within a couple of hours!!! We used Morrell to install a whole house surge protector. On the surface everything seemed fine. But 2 days after they left we discovered our dryer wasn't heating. This was the first time we had tried to use it after Morrell did their installation. We checked the breaker box and everything looked fine. At that point we ordered a new washer and dryer. While awaiting delivery of the washer and dryer we used due diligence and opened the inner cover panel on the breaker box and discovered one of the hot leads to the dryer was broken off the breaker. The electrician probably broke it while doing the installation of the surge protector since the dryer was fine before they did their work. But no one was watching him so we can't say that was for sure, even though no one else had been in the inner panel. Even so, the electrician should have noticed the lead was broken off. We reattached the lead and the dryer worked fine saving us thousands of dollars on a new laundry set. read more

Let me start this so there is no confusion, Brian is the most helpful, ethical, trustworthy professional I have ever had the chance to work with. And I've never even met him. Basics are, I messed up installing 2 new Nest thermostats, Brian not only told me over the phone what I'd done wrong, then told me how to fix it, then when I got lost in the process and texted him to confirm what I should or shouldn't do, he actually called me back and walked me through over the phone what to do to fix everything. Forget about the money he saved me, I would have very happily thrown money to someone to help me at the point I was at, and the frustration I felt. I called way in advance of an electrical job to change out my outlet behind my dishwasher to under the sink. I had an appt. for it to be changed with Brian saying it would be somewhere around 9-10am. At 9:15am he called and said his assistant had his car break down and no one was able to come. I asked if I could reschedule and he said he'd call me when he got back to the office later in the day. There was no call by 6pm. So I called him in the morning and he said he couldn't reschedule because he was driving and would call back in 20 minutes. Never got that call either. read more
