This is a very cool thing to see, and do in Lisbon. I would not do it twice, but I would do it at least once! It takes you from the oceanarium side to the other side, where you have a better view of the longest bridge in Europe. it's a great view along the way, the people are nice, and it was worth it. I do recommend this if you are going to the oceanarium in Lisbon anyway...

The Telecabine Lisboa is a cable car with fantastic views of Lisbon, the Tagus River, and the Vasco da Gama Bridge. We bought a round trip ticket for 8 euro per person which is affordable. We got on by the Oceanarium. We got off at the other end and went to a cafe for coffee and pastries. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from and a short walk to the mall. It's a cool activity that thr whole family would enjoy. The staff was friendly and were patient as we tried to practice our broken Portugese. They spoke English as well. The experience was worth what we paid. Give it a try. I think that you'd enjoy it!

For daredevils but safe enough. Completely automatic round way cable cabin track. Great view over the river and the Vasco da Gama bridge. The wind was heavy from the west and the cabin was shaking accordingly, but it felt completely safe. And they are air tight so inside it was warm!
Beautiful views of Vasco Da Gama bridge - 5th largest in the world. View of the Arena, Expo 98 restaurant strip, and Vasco Da Gama mall. All beautiful scenery. I went one way only and that was enough for me. read more

This is right behind the aquarium. They sell combined tickets of the aquarium and the telecabine if you want. Or buy them separately. It takes you along the Tagus river. Not too high up. But you get an ok view of the river and all the shops and people down below. There's no ac in the gondola. But they do open the windows, and depnding on which way your going, you get a nice breeze, or not. But it was nice just to have my wife and me in it. Its pretty quiet. It doesnt shake too much when its moving. Only on the landing part. Its a peaceful ride. Good views you wouldn't normally get if your just on the ground walking. But it basically goes up the side of the river and back. There's no views or anything at the other end. You can get off and walk around. But if not you basically stay on and go back to your starting point. No frills, no thrills. Takes about 10 or so minutes for the round trip ride. I do like the fact that the glass is not all tagged and scratched. And its clean. So the views out were really enjoyable and clear. A little fun side quest. Its over rather quickly. And its basically for the birds eye view of the area read more
Quick ride on a hanging cart at the park of the nations, we also visited the Lisbon Aquarium which was a great way to spend the afternoon on a very hot day. Be aware the hanging cabins do not have air conditioning, so its hot, should either do it early morning or late afternoon at sundown. We got the combo ticket with round trip and aquarium access €30 per person. The aquarium had a lot of interaction displays and a beautiful sightseeing in the 3 story aquatic tank that is inside the building. read more

Built for the World Expo in 1998, I tried not to think too deeply about this as it was nearly 20 years old! Takes you quite high up and gives you a great view of the bay and Tagus River. A short ride, it wasn't that much. I think 5,90€ round trip? You get a view of the developed area along the water and can catch it not too far from the Oceanario. If you don't like heights, skip this one. read more

This was worth it! Steps away from the Oceanario, these suspended cable cars gave us great views of the modern part of Lisbon. and also a great means of moving across town. This was sort of like their own unique and fun twist on the London eye. We had a blast. read more
