Ever since they changed being able to schedule directly with the technician, it has become a mess trying to get consistent information. When I call the 877 number it says "welcome to Bug-Out". What is that??? (They don't seem to know either.) When they call me, the ID is from Terminix. Are you Ehrlich, Bug-Out, Terminix, or Rentinol??? We are scheduled quarterly for service, but receive NO NOTICE when they are coming. Have asked repeatedly for at least a weeks notice, but NOTHING. When I called last week, they said the tech was coming in the afternoon. When I called today to verify, they said he was coming in the morning. Thank goodness the tech gave us his number so we can verify times with him. Also just found out they are no longer scheduling our "regular tech" to come. WHY???? We have had the same tech for years. I always received advance notice before applications, and everything was handled professionally. Unfortunately, my second year was a completely different experience. I was unaware that my plan would automatically renew, and the first application was performed without the advance notification I had received the previous year. I accepted responsibility for not knowing about the auto-renewal policy and paid for that first service. However, after attempting to cancel both my lawn care and mosquito plans by phone and email, additional services were still performed and billed. I had to dispute those charges despite having emails documenting my requests to no longer receive services and to go elsewhere. What was most disappointing was the customer service. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the accounting/office manager (Angela) mainly argued with me, called me childish, and dismissed my concerns by saying, "It's just a lawn, it's not like we killed your dog." I found that response unprofessional, unnecessary, and oddly specific. The company also claimed appointment confirmations and invoices had been emailed, but I never received them despite checking my inbox, spam, and junk folders. Interestingly, I received invoicing emails the year prior, and unwanted promotional emails were delivered without issue. It's unfortunate because my experience during the first season was excellent, but the change in communication standards, and poor customer service I encountered mean I will no longer use or recommend this company.
