All items you need for your home and clothes for reasonable prices!! I like the store for home items but cheap clothes!! The workers are nice but sloppy in their professional at times!! I enjoy coming to this store for some last minute things for either my house or even if I just need some basic simple white t-shirts, socks, pjs or even little electronic accessories like phone chargers or phone cases. They sell from men & woman clothing. House products such as bed sheets, covers, towels, bath mats and towels. Kitchen products such as mops, brooms, buckets, table covers. Make up (no special brands) Jewelry (simple like costume jewelry) Scrubs (work medical ones)' Discount prices you can't go wrong but can't expect it to last forever or be the best material neither. Telco is a great department store for convenience. It has a lot of items to choose from. The store in Staten island is clean most of the time when I go. They carry clothes for women, men and children . They have bathroom items, women's purses, paintings and bedding for your home along with kitchen appliances. It's a great place to shop especially when you are on a budget. The quality is decent and the prices are really really reasonable. The reason I gave Telco 3 stars was because the women size clothing is not always consistent and can often be a hit-or-miss when you frequent the store. The challenge with this is that they don't have a dressing room to try on clothes so you have to purchase the clothing and try it on at home. Unfortunately things don't always fit well and then you have to take it back. The good thing is that they give your money back if you bring the items back within 14 days. Either way it's still a great store with multiple items to chose from. read more

I used to find such great stuff at Telco but the last 6 months or so the selection has been lousy. Before I would have to dig around but I could find quality items from labels such as Ralph Lauren or Betsey Johnson. Nowadays no matter how much I dig I just find badly made clothes from labels I don't even recognize. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I do find the occasional awesome accessory in the jewelry section and the housewares area has some decent finds. Plus when I get bored, I can walk out the back and head over to Michaels and TJ Maxx. My theory is when the expanded they went downhill. Telco used to be that little known store where you could find some great deals. Now it's the sort of known store where you can find little to no deals. What a shame. read more

I used to go to Telco as a kid and then never dared go back in until one day I thought to just check it out. I'm glad I did. They have lots of cheap looking clothes, tacky styles, but you will occasionally see something that you may like. Problem is it's all mixed. They have a shoe section with quite a few styles. It's great if you're looking for pjs, or scrubs, or casual wear. I did buy some cute summery earrings there for $2 which I love!!! read more

I was passing Telco today so decided to run in to pick up an item I needed. I was horrified at what I saw. WheN I got on line it wasn't too crowded. Then as the line moved there must have been 20 people behind me pushing together. There was no social distancing , people were on top of each other. One of the cashiers was wearing the mask under her nose. I said to the cashier how come I there is no social distancing? She said Have a nice day and made a face. I should have left and I am mad at myself for not leaving. Just a warning Telco was absolutely disgusting. read more

Quality of the clothes is awful. Everything is so close together it's impossible to social distance. Employees do not abide by mask wearing regulations and do not enforce mask wearing for customers. One lady is restocking in the checkout line without a mask. As you check out and buy horrible quality items you can also get a free side of COVID 19. Avoid this place like the plague or get it here free your choice. read more

While I will say their prices as excellent, they deserve 1 star based on the customer service every sing time. There is never enough employees on register, but I can handle waiting in line for 1/2 an hour for a good deal. What I can't handle is rude employees, and owners who will not honor their sales and prices. Tonight was the last straw. As I am doing some last minute Christmas shopping, I decided to buy a reindeer quilt that was clearly next to other items marked "All Christmas items 50% off. " at the register I was first told that it is not a holiday item. The quilt is literally covered in snowflakes and reindeer. I was then told it was a holiday item but not on sale. So I went back and took a picture of the other ones labelled 50% off. Still, the refused to honor the price. I am disgusted with the lack of customer service. It is bad enough I have to constantly wait in line for 30-45 minutes. This, sadly, may be my last trip to Telco. I would recommend going across the street the TJ Maxx before walking in here. read more

BUYERS BE AWARE!! MUST READ!! I happened to pass by this place, and realized there are no parking on the side of the street what so ever, but there's a parking lot right next to it, so I decided to go to the store acrossed from it and will come back to telco later on, 5 mins later, a guy came up to me while I was shopping at the 99 cent store acrossed street, and said that my car was tolled, I quickly grabbed my 1 yr old baby girl and ran into telco and asked people what happened, people in there said they had no idea what happened. Seconds later, the same guy came in and told me that my car was in the middle of a one way street. When I got to my car it was all hooked up on a toll truck, the toll truck driver demands $200 cash in order to release my car, being the fact that I have all my personal belongings including my baby's stroller inside, and that my baby was getting a little hungry and fuzzy...I gave them all my cash in my wallet which is only $165 and that was all I had. Afterwords, when I came back home and I called the cops coz I feel like the whole thing was like a set up, the cops told me that they always receive complaints about them all the time, and that they have the right to do that, they hired someone to sit in one of the cars to watch people, and if you go into the wrong store, they will punish you by calling their business partner which is the towing company around the corner. read more

This store sucks. They do not abide by the reciept policies. I had my reciept n they still wouldnt give me the exchange at what i paid. Yet on the receipt it says only if I don't have the receipt I get it at current selling price. Not to mention how unbelievably rude both the cashier and the manager were. Whoebver runs this store u need to re-phrase your policies and find new employees. Oh and the best was when they started speaking another language in front of my face...these are the most rude, unprofessional people and the store is a slovenly cheap mess. they also need to look a little more professional... I would be fired in 3 seconds if I looked like them or treated customers the way they do. read more

Horrible customer service . Stop by there @ 7 and walked around . At 7h30 they called on phone to close but i was on phone and did not hear . A black girl who work there just called me when i walk " Mrs , mrs , mrs " I was hearing that but i didnt thought she call me . she ran to me and stop me and speak slowly and her act like i didnt speak english . Excuse me ? You call out customer like that wasnt professional . After she talked to me slowly like i didnt understand her i responded " I underTand what you said " Well I am asian but it doesnt mean i didnt speak english or understand whT you said and the thing is i was busy on phone so didnt hear they close . I would nevee stop by there anymore . If telco want to run business and being somewhere eveeyone can stop by to shop , you need to train your staff good .
