Horrible company. This company was assigned to me by Samsung since apparently they are an authorized service company for Samsung. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Your assigned case manager emails back when they feel like it, is never reachable when you call them. When they call they don't say who they are calling with or what their name is. They act like scheduling your repair appointment is a chore. A man a spoke to even hung up on me! The technicians are no better. The wrong part was ordered which resulted in my fridge being completely broken for almost 4 days. The second part was installed and now the same issue is happening again, but even worse. In general, FYI for ALL purchases: If the transaction is within your credit card company's statute of limitations, I recommend opening a DISPUTE. Samsung referred my claim for a repair within 48 hours. Also, I highly recommend writing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. My legitimate claim against Frigidaire was addressed within 24 hours, and I have an email (in writing) that I will receive a complete refund, including taxes within 10-business days. read more

I found this company through the Dacor website to repair my oven. Spoke to some incredibly rude and unhelpful woman on the phone to try to schedule a service. She just kept saying I needed to call Dacor to have a "ticket" created. I just want to pay someone to fix my oven. It's not under warranty, I just want to give you my money and have you fix it. The Worst company to deal with. Tekniton has Terrible customer service. Called for service on Feb 17th and Was given an appointment for Feb 22nd in the AM. Two days before the appoinment I recieved a phone message about the appoitnment and to call them back which I did 3 mins. later only to be told that my appointment had been cancelled since they could not reach me. I said I just got your message and they said there is nothing they could do and that I would need to call Samsung back and get a new ticket. WHAT?? I explained that I had made serveral changes to my schedule in order to be home for the 22nd appointment. Sorry nothing we can do. Called Samsung back and they gave me a new ticket and told they have no control over the service department, Asked to speak with the manager and after waiting on line for 28 minutes I hung up. Called Tekniton back once more and was told first available appoitment would be on March 4th. I said that is unaccepable and she repeated that is the first available. Asked to speak to the manager. Told manager not there but you can get a call back. I asked manager's name and was told Ben and she said was not allowed to give out last name. Samsung manager called me back and again he repeated they have no control over the service department that I will need to reschedule it. Called Tekniton three times before they finally answered. The agent knew exactly who I was when she answered and told me the first available was now Feburary 28th in the PM. She knew my name and the ticket number. When I asked why the other appointment was cancelled she said she did not know as I reached a big call center That is my first available and you will recieve a call prior. You mean like you did today and then have my appoitment cancelled? She said we have many tickets to handle in a day so everybody needs to calm down and not take it out on us and realize that we are doing the best we can. Maybe they need to hire more people????? Why is it the customers problem that they cant handle requests correctly or in a timely manner. Samsung said I have to go through this company because my washer is under warrenty. When I heard that Samsung had assigned this company for my tv repair (under warranty), I freaked out when I saw it had a 1 star rating here on Yelp. Unfortunately I experienced the incompetence of many of their employees and come here to leave another 1 star for them. On the first appointment, one guy came and didn't even bring a ladder. He said he was pretty sure what the issue was and didn't have to bring the tv down, just ordered the part. A week later two guys and a ladder showed up just to cancel the appointment because they hadn't ordered special screws that were needed. A week later two other dudes showed up (no ladder this time) and found out after opening the tv that another part needed repair, so they ordered the part. A week later two different dudes showed up, got the tv running, but screwed the frame, so they took the whole tv to repair at their shop (they said it was going to be faster). Today two different dudes showed up with the tv, were not able to mount it because some of the screws no longer fit the new frame (not their fault they said!), and just left the tv for me to figure the rest out. I sent the company a message saying how bad my experience was, along with the fact that the dudes left a mess in my backyard (furniture they moved didn't return to their position), and 10 minutes later the dude CALLS me !!! asking what I meant by "mess". He said that other than picking up trash, nothing else is their responsibility!!! Ridiculous service, trash experience. Avoid if you can!! read more

As with most, we were sent to this company by our warranty company. We have tickets for both our washer and our stove. When they were first contacted by our warranty company and called, the customer service rep who never gives her name (for good reason from the reviews I just read) tried to fit us in a 9-5 slot. When I told her that was not acceptable and that we needed a less wide window, she gave us 9-1. I told her that I needed to talk to my husband to find out if he could take the day she proposed off because I could not. She asked if she was supposed to cancel the ticket, to which I told her no, I just need to clear that day first. After that, EVERY time we called, we got a busy signal. It turns out she did cancel our ticket. Fast forward to this week where we reopen them. It wasn't until I spoke to the girl on the phone that I realized this had to be the same company. This was already not looking good. They made TWO DIFFERENT appointments for our two appliances on TWO DIFFERENT days. This morning was our window for the stove. at 1:15 I called just to get an idea of where we were on the list because my husband had been home all day waiting. The same girl answered and was probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with. She said the tech was running late due to the weather, which I totally understood. but then I asked her if she could find out an estimate of when he might be showing up and she said he would get there when he got there. I expressed my disappointment and asked that she call him and find out. She said she would call and I then asked her if she knew who was calling (because she had not acknowledged me or my ticket by name, phone number or address) and she said (very snotty, the whole call was snotty) "you're in Dixon" and I said "Ok, so there is no need to be snotty about it..."I was mid sentence when she hung up on me. I called back to try to speak to a manager but was placed on hold for ten minutes. In that ten minutes the tech called me and I explained to him. He then asked me what the problem was with the stove. Then SITE UNSEEN he decided to reschedule my ticket so he could ORDER A PART without even looking at the stove. They (Samsung) send an email with the information and the tentative date, and inform to let them know of the date for service doesn't work. The date I have doesn't work, so I wait for the confirmation call, it comes, and the lady has no business being in customer service. She calls and opens the convo by not even saying who she was with, simply she was calling about the washing machine. We then move to confirming the date of service and I say that unfortunately date doesn't work...assuming they have nothing sooner I simply ask if we can reschedule for the following week... her response "nope. We will just cancel your claim, good bye" And that was that. It's unfortunate Samsung uses them because you won't have a choice, but if you do...steer very clear. read more

My Samsung TV was under warranty and under 6 months old, so Samsung used this company to inspect my 60 inch. In the days leading up to this appointment, my TV had a black screen. While on the phone with Samsung, we attempted to troubleshoot the issue, but the screen remained black. Samsung has notes regarding the troubleshooting process. TEKNITON scheduled a repair appointment on 5/24/2023 between 1-3 pm. This technician showed up late after 3 pm. I wasn't home because I couldn't wait for him. I had to leave for work. My 17 year old son entrusted Ruslan to enter my home. He inspected the TV and told my son in a loud condescending voice that he broke the TV because you pushed it too hard. As of now, my TV screen is damaged in the upper right corner with pink and yellow lines, and the screen is no longer black. This was not the way my TV screen looked before this technician was sent out to my home, additionally the tech had my minor son sign off on his paperwork. I have filed a complaint with Samsung. I also called TEKNITON to file a complaint and requested that a manager contact me as well. I have yet to hear back from them. Entering my home and having my child sign his repair form was inappropriate behavior on this company. It appears that the technician damaged my television. A second repair company came out to provide their opinion. Based on the evidence, they also think that the damage was caused by the technician because the damage is in the right corner, high up, as if when the back was removed to inspect, the tech was pressing the back part so intensely to clamp it on during the reinstallation. The company is not trustworthy, and I would never allow them to inspect any other item in my house again. I wish I had seen these reviews before scheduling this appointment. read more

Then when the technician finally showed up and replaced the part: the part was not even the original and left a huge gap. I tried to contact them for the past two weeks trying to communicate the issue. Then they finally admitted it was not the original part and there's nothing they can do. Their tech came out in December for an OC error on our 3 year old Samsung dishwasher & couldn't diagnose the problem. Charged us & went on his way. Error came back 3 days later but we figured out that we could just use a different setting & the error would go away. Now 3 months later (5 days outside of their 90 day labor warranty of course) the same error popped up on the new setting we've been using & this time the water wouldn't drain. I was referred to Tekniton directly from Samsung, when I had a recall on my machine in 2015. 08/10/20 - Call Tekniton directly to have my washing machine repaired. 08/12/20 - Ernesto A., comes to repair my machine at 5:45 p.m. In 10 minutes, tells me its the the main computer panel. Replaces it = $454.25 He leaves I start washing and machine overflows!!! Not fixed!! 08/13/20 - First thing in the am I call back explain not fixed. Told part is on back order. Should take a week. 08/21/20 - Still waiting on part. 08/28/20 - Told part should arrive. Schedule appt for Monday 08/31/20. 08/31/20 - Get a phone call from Tekniton, part did not arrive. Still waiting on it. Will call when it comes in. 09/02/20 - Get a phone call from Tekniton telling me part should be in, and schedule service for 09/04/20 - morning. 09/04/20 - Get a phone call from Tekniton, part did not arrive?!?!? Need to reschedule. 09/07/20 - Get a phone call from Tekniton - part is in. Schedule appt. for Thursday am (09/10/20). 09/10/20 - Technician arrives. Works diligently - can't fix, wrong part?!?!?! Technician calls office, they have the new part will be back next day 09/11/20 - first thing in the am. Come to find out technicians are only paid a commission based on part sales. First technician got paid a commission on my $454.25. My second service visit was under 90 day warranty - I do not have to pay = technician doesn't make his commission. I have called the manager John B, at least 5 times - no phone call back. I also called Samsung to complain about this service company. My machine is out of warranty. Come to find out if I had called and created a work order with Samsung I may have been able to get my money back. Clearly Tekniton is doing Samsung work orders first as they get paid. If you call them direct, you move down the ladder. Bottom line ... It's COVID-19!!!! My hubby works in a hospital. I NEED a washing machine. If I could award minus 10 stars for this company I would. I have a 3 year old Samsung oven that began emitting black soot last year. Samsung sent a person from this company. Obviously the person who they sent out had no idea what to do, but as soon as he spotted one mouse dropping he shot out of our house claiming he was not to do any work if he spotted an "infestation." The Oxford dictionary defines infestation as "the presence of an unusually large number of insects or animals in a place, typically so as to cause damage or disease." An unusually large number of animals. Not one mouse dropping. Our gas company came out and put a new valve on our propane tank just because it was over 20 years old, made some adjustments to pressure, said it all checked out and there was nothing more he could do and he could not see any reason for the soot. The oven continued to spew black soot out the vent and onto our wall. For another 11 months. I once again went through ONE FULL HOUR of trying to get through to Samsung to get this problem repaired. One person cut me off after waiting for 30 minutes. A second person who finally transferred me to a third person, only after repeated requests for a supervisor, who grudgingly said they would "make a one time accommodation" and send a repair person. So, short version is I received a voicemail from Tekniton the next day that they were calling to set up an appointment. I returned their call, the incredibly put-upon employee with whom I spoke stuck me on hold with zero warning, then cut me off. Now they don't answer. I tried 8 times. Samsung needs to wise up and find a repair subcontractor that actually wants their business and actually gives a crap about Samsung customers. I am through. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. My oven is not getting repaired by Tekniton. Someone else will get my repair money. When my brand new Samsung refrigerator stopped working, Samsung's warranty hotline referred me to Tekniton. At first, everything was good and easy! Customer service was quick to return my call and was very courteous. They scheduled someone to come out the very next day to see my appliance. That guy came, took a look, and said that he would need to have someone else come out to refill the Freon. It took a few days to get the second guy to come out to do the actual work--and that required pleading with the woman on customer service. Not three weeks later, we started having the same problem--food in the freezer was thawing. Another call to Samsung. Another referral to Tekniton. Another quick call from customer service to schedule me for an appointment--more than a week out. The day before our much awaited appointment I got a call after 5pm cancelling our scheduled visit because "a part didn't arrive". I requested that they give me an update in the following day about when we could expect this mysterious part and reschedule the appointment. A day and a half later, I've still had no response. I've called Tekniton multiple times and waited on hold until the voicemail said nobody was available to take my call at extension 103 and the voicemail box wouldn't accept new messages. The "part that hadn't arrived" was news to me! When the last two repairmen came, they didn't tell us anything about a part that needed to be replaced! If they had, I would have asked them to order it and schedule the repair right then! If you're looking for company to do a Samsung authorized repair--find another one. read more

Don't use Tekniton for repair. For an older refrigerator, which needed a sensor changed, the rep came in and did nothing and charges $100 for showing up. Then a series of can't find part excuses came in over the following 4 weeks and no intention of providing any solution for fixing it. The part is available from Amazon for less than $5 a piece. What is worse is that they have had business from me for appliance repairs in the past, but there is no consideration for the same, or any customer orientation. read more
