I called and they were here in 1/2 hour! They removed my hard drive, copied it over to a backup server for safe-keeping and put everything on an external drive for me. They installed a new hard drive and I was up and running! It took a day to do that but my computer is back up and running and I couldn't be happier! They have a $5/computer/month backup service that is UNLIMITED (http://www.fixmyputer.ca/back-up-and-remote-services.php) and does it all online and I've signed up for that. He installed the software and had it backing my stuff up within 10 minutes! I would recommend fixmyputer.ca to anyone who has computer issues. I am extremely happy with their prices as well, as another computer shop I go to charges over $30 MORE an hour for mobile service than these guys. I found this out on my own when my MasterCard was compromised. Plus every app that I downloaded to this phone would crash. ​I talked to Google and t​hey took a lot of time to help me and they informed me that the security updates were no longer available for my pixel as of October 2022! ​So ​I reset my phone and downloaded a free security app. My phone is now​ working after not working for 2 weeks. I feel the staff at this location are under trained and misinformed. It's not their fault. it's the fault of their manager. I'm a very unhappy customer and will never recommend this business. The staff were incompetent and uneducated on the phone when I originally spoke to them about bringing the phone in for repairs but it was about to get so much worse. After 2 hours of leaving my phone with them I went back to pick it up to be SHOWN (keep that in mind) and told that the repairs were done but they could no release my phone to me as their systems were down and they couldn't "complete testing" and I would have to return tomorrow to pick up my phone. The next day I received a call telling my again, my phone WAS fixed but they could not release my phone to me as there was an issue with my insurance and I had to call them. 1.5 hours after being on the phone with the insurance company it was clear that Mobil Klinik had fraudulently tried to make claims against my insurance for repairs that were not needed on my device, they also had CANCELED my originally claim and tried to file their own. The insurance company was refusing to pay the store as they had violated the terms of their agreement and that was why they were refusing to give my phone back. This is ILLEGAL! After many talks back and forth the insurance company spoke with the store who claimed "they had never actually performed the repairs, therefore their claims were not fraudulent and I could come pick up my phone." WOW if you remember back, I PHYSICALLY held my phone in my hands the night before with the repairs having been completed, I informed the insurance company of this and that in fact this BUSINESS had LIED AGAIN and was still being fradulent!!! I got a phone call from the store who said i could now come pick up my phone but "wanted to know if I wanted to pay for them to fix my phone". I told them I wouldn't not be giving them a dime and I was coming to pick up my phone in 20 minutes and would be taking it in whatever condition it was currently in. the lady became frantic saying she needed to know if I was going to pay for the repairs to which I told her I knew they had lied to my insurance company and already fixed my phone and that I would NOT be paying for anything. At which point this not so lovely human being HUNG UP ON ME. I never in my life have dealt with a business who is so shady, lies, cheats, steals has the worst customer service and holds people personal property hostage. When I picked up my phone these horrible people had put my BROKEN back glass back onto my phone in MUCH worse shape then when I dropped it off, and tried to claim they had never done anything. I cannot believe that after being caught in SO MANY lies that this business did not once even apologize or even offer to fix my phone for free. they are a sleazy, dishonest organization and I plan to ensure that no insurance company ever sends another client to them to be treated as I was. BEWARE OF GENERIC PARTS!!!!…read more Had my iPhone 11 battery and display screen replaced a few weeks ago. I have used their service before on an iPhone 6 repair a few years earlier. This shop has quite an informative website, which I told the operator I had gone through, and complimented their addition customer support option. As I purchased the middle quality of the 3 display screens offered, I DID inquire about how drastic the differences in quality actually were. I was given a brief "good, better, best" response (NOT verbatim). When I paid for the service in advance I was asked to sign a receipt to acknowledge that my phone may or may not work the same after the repair. Again, a brief reply regarding possible damage that may not be known until the phone was apart. As broken screens are common, I wasn't too worried. When the repaired phone was returned, it displayed a message that my Face ID was disabled due to problems with the 'true depth camera'. My Face ID had worked up until the repair, even with really cracked glass. Seeing my dismay, the owner informed me that using parts that were not genuine Apple parts could disable the use of your face ID permanently, and that this was the case with my phone! He also said that Apple would not service the phone, I. E. Replace the glass again, because it had been serviced by a non-authorized apple repair. So, are they reputable service? I would say they are quite capable, polite and expedient. However, I am quite chagrined that they didn't disclose the fact that not using Apple parts could disable someone's face ID. I feel this is very serious.. I understand how providing this information could effect their earnings, as phones with facial identification are becoming the norm , and understandably, many customers would opt to find a service provider with the "genuine" option. If this is their reasoning, then I suggest someone upgrade their training to 'Apple certification standards' and have the ability to offer and install genuine parts, as necessary to ensure optimum performance of a costly device... I would have a LOT more respect for this establishment had they posted this option on their website, or told me up front that this was a hazard of using generic {display} parts... Odd that I am the only person who had this happen ~ no other reviews with this outcome... Dlm
